It does not seem likely that CS6 was upgraded from version 10. You might want to check your purchase history in your Adobe account to see if there is some missing link in the chain of purchases you made.

What is the best way to migrate to a new computer and software version?

New computer, new software version. Brand new MacPro with OS X v10.9.4 and Pegasus Promise 24 TB R8 Raid 5. Old machine would only run FCX v10.0.9. All project and media files on eSATA drives hooked up to (really) old MacPro. No room to make copies on that system.
Ready to start copying projects and events to the new machine via ethernet cable hookup. Haven't yet updated FCX to the latest version on the new machine. Need some advice first.
What would be the most efficient method of getting the many terabytes of events and projects transferred to the new machine? Should I copy everything via FC instead of the finder on the old machine and then try to relink media, or Just use the new machine to suck everything over to the Pegasus via the finder and update FC and use the new media management features to to relink? Or is there a means of transferring the data without loosing the links?
My head is spinning! Feels like there are bees living in there.
Any and all suggestions welcome.

You also need to ask yourself how many of the old projects you really need to copy across.
We tend to get very attached to our old projects and don't like to trash them "in case we need them in the future".
Frequently we don't require them any more and they just litter our systems.
As long as you keep copies of the original media on the SD cards/tapes, you can always revisit them, albeit with a bit of work . . . though I generally find that repeating a project is much quicker than the original as most of the edit decisions remain in your memory.

You should probably just download the trial version of pse 12 and see if you can live with it.

How much free space is on your hard drive?
Do you have Internet Explorer 10 or 11?
Pse 1 can run on windows 7 x64, provided certain conditions are met.

Siebel/Siteminder Netegrity (Computer Associates) SSO Integration

Hello,
The end client wants to integrate a SSO solution with Siteminder without purchasing the Siteminder custom security adapter. I have not yet seen this done before as I have always utilized the Siteminder custom security adapter when implementing SSO with Siebel. Currently, I have configured their authentication into Siebel using the standard Siebel LDAP Security Adapter to connect and authenticate to an Active Directory Server. I believe it would be possible to configure Siteminder to use the LDAP Security adapter and achieve SSO however; I am not clear as to what steps would need to be done in order to get this to work properly. Outside of the basic Siebel Enterprise Setup and the SWSE eapps.cfg setups for SSO would I just add the anonymous user account, which is currently being used by the LDAP Security Adapter by the SharedCredentinalsDN and which also holds the LDAP DB username and password, into the Siteminder HTTP header? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

With Siebel 7.7 and later (and possibly 7.5) it is theoretically possible to use Siteminder SSO with Siebel without the Computer Associates custom adapter. Please note, however, that Computer Associates does not officially support this approach and Oracle/Siebel's ability to support Siteminder issues is very limited.
The basic outline of what needs to be done:
1. You will use either the LDAPSecAdpt or ADSISecAdpt depending on what directory backends your Siteminder implementation. This must be an LDAP directory or Active Directory server that is supported by the Siebel security adapter. If it is not, then you will have to use the Siteminder customer adapter.
2. Determine which attribute in the LDAP or ADSI directory contains the userID that matches up to a valid Siebel userID (i.e. in S_USERS). By default this would be sAMAccountName for ADSI and uid for LDAP. But this often is customized/changed.
3. Configure Siteminder to pass the contents of that attribute as a custom HTTP header variable. For example SIEBEL_SSO_USER.
The rest of the setup is documented in the Security Guide in the Single Sign-On Section. You will basically just need to add a few variables in the eapps.cfg and/or eapps_sia.cfg file(s) and then set the SingleSignOn and TrustToken parameters in the security adapter profile.

I have some questions about the different versions of Adobe CC installed on my computer. Is not only with Photoshop, also with Illustrator and InDesign.
Which of the three versions of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator or InDesign is the latest?
Why do I have on my computer three different versions of Adobe Photoshop: CC (64 Bit), CC 2014 and CC? Every one of them is installed in a different directory of my computer.
Which one should I have installed on a computer with windows 7 pro 64 bit?
Can I uninstall the older versions?

CC 2014 should be the latest version. You can uninstall any others if you choose to.

To install Acrobat 11 on to 6 computers you can purchase Volume License.
But since you want it for only a month you need to purchase Acrobat subscription.
A single subscription is good for 2 computers and the same Adobe ID cannot be used to buy multiple subscription copies of Acrobat.
You can however opt for Creative Cloud for Team license such that you can become the Admin and grant access to the 6 users who wish to install Acrobat on their machines.

Firefox 29 (beta) has the new 1.5 version of Sync, where Firefox 28 (earlier) uses the previous version of Sync. Once a Sync account has been upgraded to the new 1.5 version of Sync it won't connect with a pre-29 version of Firefox. So you are looking at a 6 week period of incompatibility, until your release version is updated to Firefox 29.
On a positive note, the new version has a greatly simplified ''(for the user)'' method of adding new devices to an existing Sync account and for re-connecting a device that was "un-linked" from the Sync server. The 3rd authentication "key" - using the Sync Key - has been eliminated. The data encryption "key" will be created (and "compared" at time of login) using the account / user name and the account password; the 3rd key won't be needed by the user.

Using a single user license, you can activate Acrobat on maximum two computers.
You need to first deactivate Acrobat from the first machine and then activate it on the second machine using the same serial number.
Please let me know have you been trying to install Acrobat and error message prompts on your screen.
