Computer Crashed Can't get music back onto fixed computer

My computer crashed and I hadn't backed my music up to a disk. I got my computer fixed but they had to erase everything. When I went to transfer it back on usuing my iPod like the support page says a window pops up and tells me that my library can only be synced to one itunes library. is there anything i can do? i had $100+ in downloads.

Getting music back onto my computer after it crashed. Using same computer.

My current computer caught a virus of some sort. It erased almost the entire memory. Needless to say, my Itunes library was erased. I still have all of my music on my ipod. I am simply trying to put that music back onto the same computer. I have downloaded Itunes 10 and I thought I was ready to simply sync and the music would appear on my computer. That isn't the case. I'm going to assume that you never backed up any of the music on your iTunes library to an external source and that you weren't running any current antivirus software.
Might I suggest you purchase a Mac Mini with an external hard drive? Then you could use Time Machine to back up and wouldn't need the antivirus software.
But in the meantime, also assuming the music on the iPod was not purchased from the iTunes Store, download and install YamiPod from here: http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home/ then follow the instructions.

3 albums of purchased music show on purchased list, but files are only on iphone. How can I get them back onto my computer?

I have at least 3 albums of music that appear in the "purchased" column on itunes, but the files have gone missing. I have the files on my iphone, and can listen to them on it, but when I try to play them on my Mac I get the message : The song “XXXX” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" but when I try to find the songs in my itunes library the files are not there. I have had to de- and reauthorize my computer to get the apple tv (1) to play old content, and wonder if in doing that, I have somehow wiped out old purchased song files. Is there a way to transfer these songs back onto my desktop Mac? The "transfer purchases from iphone" function doesn't do it, seemingly because the songs were all puchased via the desktop.

You'll need the help of 3rd party software to extract the photos from your iPod to your computer. Google will be your friend on this one. I can't recommend any particular ones.
Keep in mind that the photos on your iPod are no longer in full resolution, but instead are now scaled down versions created by iTunes during the sync process so that the resulting photo would be optimized for viewing on your iPod classic.

My computer crashed and completely erased my hard drive. I managed to upload 149 of the 160 songs that I purchased from iTunes but can't get the rest, it simply stopped. I have about 100 other songs including all of my purchased music on my iPod, but I get the statement of how it can't read the contents of my iPod and that I need to restore it. I have copied all of my info to my hard drive, but that only includes the library list, not the actual files itself. How do I get these 100+ songs on to my iTunes?

iTunes will be blank if you only backed up the music files. If you backed up and restored the iTunes library files to the locations they were in originally then your library should be fine when you open it up again. If you didn't back up the library files then you have a couple of alternatives. One is to add the music files back into iTunes and recreate your library: iTunes for Windows- Importing music and video already on your computer
Alternatively you could rebuild iTunes from the contents of the iPod. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message when you connect that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod
Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. There are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.
If you have any iTunes Store purchases you'll have to reauthorise your computer to play them as the original authorisation will have been lost in the crash: About iTunes Music Store Authorisation and Deauthorisation

If the music was RIP'd from CD, then the fastest way is to restore from your backup.
Since it sounds like you did not have a backup, you will need to reRIP them from your CDs. Nothing else you can do.
iTunes purchases you can redownload. Open iTunes, go to the store, click on Purchases on the right side under Quick links.
Then tell the tech who formatted it for you without making a backup or making sure teat YOU made a backup that his rear end has a vacancy sign and your foot is looking for a place to rent.
and you should make a backup right now of your computer and update teh backup after you RIP all the CDs.
And make it a regualr practice, like weekly, depending on how much you want to lose.

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you lost your bookmarks. In order to check if they are still there you can look in the profile folder on the computer [[Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles]]
As for syncing from the android, it is possible to add the account to the desktop and the two should merge.

You can transfer contents from your iPhone back to iTunes library:
First, *BEFORE you connect the iPhone, please go to the iTunes preferences and select "devices", then select "disable automatic syncing for iPad, iPhones and iPods"*.
Then, for those songs that you purchased on your iPhone: Transfer purchases from iPod to iTunes.
For all other non purchased contents (your photos etc), their are ton of third party programs, some is free: iDump, Floola. Some is shareware, but they does preserve playlist/ratings/playcounts/artworks etc: iCopyBot, CopyTrans

IF you have successfully imported your pictures to your Mac http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 then it's safe to delete it from your phone.
If you want the pics back on your phone, just sync them back using itunes http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236
