Computer crashed how do i recover music and apps from itunes
help, synced daily, backing up iphone with itunes daily. cpu crashed, have virgin one now, itunes installed, tring to recover music and apps that are on my phone already so when i sync i dont loose my music. since they dont exsist on the hard drive of the new cpu. is there away to recover them and transfer or download them to this new cpu? from iphone or or from where i backed up my stuff on my iphone everytime i synced?

My old laptop crashed. I bought a new one, but when I loaded itunes and plugged in my ipad 2, it only added the songs that were purchased in the itunes store. I upgraded my os to 5.0 and it deleted all of my songs, a lot of my apps, and all of my pictures except for the ones on the camera roll. I have these pictures and songs on my itouch 2nd generation but I can't get it to synch with the new computer. All of the solutions I have seen online don't work. I can't upgrade to the newest operating system because it is only 2nd generation. I tried turning on Home sharing and saving to the cloud, but I can't get it to work on the itouch. Please help!
I don't have a backup copy of my old computer. I bought an external hard drive and it said it backed up, but when I plugged it into my new computer, it was empty. My old computer is not accessible. if you still have your crashed computer get one of your techie friends to make your old hard drive into an external hard drive- they can get a sleeve for it from new egg or a supplier like that- you hook it up to your new computer, via USB connections, transfer the itunes folder to the new itunes folder in your new computer then import that folder into the itunes library on the internet site...........go to file then import folder and find your folder- mine was itunes music-

You definitely need to resurrect the old password associated with the Apple ID you used to purchase the music.

An email will be sent to the email address associated with that account with instructions regarding resetting that Apple ID's password.
If you no longer have access to that email, the resolution to this problem becomes considerably more difficult. In that event you would need to contact iTunes Support and explain your dilemma. -

Do you have a computer. You can't share music or apps from one mobile device to another. To share photos you need to use photo stream shared albums.

How can I stop music and movies from being automatically deleted from my phone and saved on the cloud? I've just tried to watch a movie on my 2 hour commute, but yet AGAIN it has been removed. But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap.
