I recently purchased photoshop elements with premiere.
After using the program only once, due to other circumstances, my motherboard stopped working.
I just purchased a new computer, how can I load it on to my new machine?

Is there a support link that tells me what steps to go through to set up my iPod with my new PC. When I try to just authorize it on my new PC, iTunes wants to delete everything on my iPod. If your iPod is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that will let you use our iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button. Also when using most of the utilities listed above your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default: Managing content manually on iPod and iPhone
You can also use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes 7.3 or later installed hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that way you can continue to use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it.

You can't sign in because there is nothing to sign in to. For PSE 10 the only sign in was to photoshop.com, which has been dead and gone for a year and half. Just skip the sign in. Reinstalling will not change this.

Much the same way as you originally did. Download it and use your serial number to activate it.

My computer died, how to sync without....

Hello all. Well my dilemma is that my dell laptop has died. This was the computer I used to sync my iPhone. Now it has been several weeks since I have synced my iPhone so I am needing to so I will not loose any information in case my iPhone crashed. In the past several weeks I have purchased several apps and do not want to loose them in the sync process. When I go to sync my iPhone to my daughters computer (there is not any iPhone's synced to this computer), it states that all existing apps on my iPhone will be replaced from the iTunes library (iTunes Library is empty). I take it as the apps on my iPhone will be deleted. I only have around $40 worth of apps so far but still I do not want to loose them. Syncing to my daughters computer is only temporary until I get me a new laptop. Then I will sync only to the new computer. Which will not be for a couple months though. Is it possible to sync to my daughters computer without loosing my apps, also my music, contacts, etc. Thanks for your help.

Transfer your purchases and back up manually and keep on syncing on this computer. Here's how to:
Authorize the new computer in the Store menu. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
This will save data, pictures taken with the phone and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer. Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your phone got wiped during the first sync.
The rest of the data can be restored again from the manual backup you made.
Repeat this process when you'll switch to your new computer.

My computer died and my iPhone holds all my music and photos. I know how to restore purchasemusic and save Camera Roll photos, but I also have old music that I burned from CDs and photos that are synced with My Photos. Does anyone know have any ideas?

Old computer died - how do i upload my music library from my backup discs?

My old computer died, but I do have a set of itunes backup discs. I've downloaded iTunes to my new laptop, but when i put in my back up discs, it shows the music, but doesn't transfer it into my music library.
I can't find anywhere in itunes to "restore from backup discs". When I plugged in my iphone, it asked me if i wanted to erase the music on my phone and sync to the new emplty library. NOOOO

Old computer died, how do I syncronize w/ a new computer?

I had my IPOD Nano synced w/ my old computer. That computer died. I have all my music still on my IPOD. I have tried hooking my IPOD up to my new computer, but it doesn't see any of my old music.
I have read several of the articles on the apple website that talk about moving songs to your new computer by changing your IPOD into Manual mode (versus Automatic), but the instructions require you to have access to your old computer. I don't have that access anymore. I would like to be able to add more new music using my new computer, but not to lose what is already on my IPOD.
Any thoughts?

There's also another method. I've successfully tested this across several different Windows PCs.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), there's Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music and playlists etc from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
The above methods may depend on what version of iTunes you are running.
If none of these methods work, try CopyPod.
If you are using iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.
