Computer Icon not appearing as it should

I was looking at forms to see if I could get 10.5 to see that I am using a Black MB not a White one. I was wondering if there is any way to change this. I have tried renaming the file and placing in a new icon. It now show that I am running an old imac g4 the one where the screen swiveled on the base. Any insight would be great.

I have no idea what I'm talking about so if this isn't relevant please don't blast me.
With the type selected go to the Character palette, select the down arrow to reveal options, go to Open Type and in that pop out menu deselect "Contextual Alternates"
Does this fix your issue? If so, I have another clue to my issue. If not, I apologize for wasting your time.

If you using on a windows pc, maybe you should reinstall the iCloud Control Panel. You can download the latest version from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455?viewlocale=en_US
If you cant see your changes on icloud.com than you have trouble between outlook and icloud. this is the part of the icloud control panel.

first go to start-all programs- windows update is at the top of the list follow the prmpts to install microsoft update which is the new version of windows update if microsoft update is all ready installed go there and select custom then let it look for updates
then if it detects missing drivers it will install or guide you on what to do. If you have an r52 laptop then try this link.

2 if that doesnt work then try this open device manager right click on the sound device you may have to expand sound, video and game controlers on the tab that comes up select properties then select the drivers tab select update driver.
do it this way incase the driver installation failed the frist time it may not ask you to update again if you didnt uncheck the box that came up on frist try.
3.find a mother board disk and search the disk using explore for ac97 realtech driver. actually windows update should solve it also try there FIX IT web site there are many automatied fixes there for your use.

It's not clear whether you were able to do any backups to this drive at all. If not, it's probably not formatted properly. See #5 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions for instructions.
If you did get any successful backups, there may be a problem with the drive, or the backups may be corrupted. Try to repair the backups, per #A5 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting.

Sms icon not appearing in N76

I am using N76 from the last 1 year and today i had a strange problem.. I am receiving the messages but the notification is not appearing (means, the icon of envelop on the upper right corner of the screen).
I have to open my inbox after every 10 15 minutes to check whether there are any new messages or not? The message tune is also not beeping.
I've checked the profile and there the tunes are working properly. Also I've reset the mobile to the factory settings but still facing the same proble.
Any one can help please???

I have a date field type DATS in a table control in a screen layout and for that a calendar pops up on pressing F4 but the F4 icon is not visible. Can anyone please guide me on this. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
1) Goto screen painter in change mode and double click on the field for which you want the symbol.
2) Now second pop up will appear where you can change the attributes of the field there select program tab and check the Possible Entries check box as same has to be checked to get the icon with Possible Entries Key has to be either space or 2 as if it is 1 then icon will not appear.
Make it as 2, save and activate the screen and re-run the transaction.
It should work.

TS1702 Icons not appearing after download to 2nd ipad

I installed several apps this evening, on my Ipad2 & then attempted to install the same on my husband's Ipad2. During the 2nd installation the icons did not appear. Is there any way to retrieve them? This was the 1st time I used the App store via our IPads, I previously synced via my windows computer.

What IOS version are you using?
If Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > when the same apple id on both ipads is used and in Automatic Downloads for Apps is ON, you do not have to do anything, it will automatically downloads to the 2nd iPad.
Otherwise, use the iPad where the apps are missing, tap App Store app > Purchases and re-download those missing apps for free.

Happy with option for closing a thread as "Closed but unanswered",but icon is not appearing in listed forum threads.

As I keep saying, we are listening. And where possible improving.
You asked for this option (closed but unanswered) and we've had it in the works. Sadly it made its way to production before its time.
Yesterday's downtime addressed some immediate issues but the request should be implemented in its entirety based on our request in early December.
Please patiently bare with us until then.
The good news is by the end of 2010 we will have added another long awaited request

Login Icon and shutdown icon not appearing on login screen

I don't know if it is just coincidence but I have had two instances where the login icon and the shutdown icon are not appearing on the login screen and the login screen is not "live" after I had installed an HP officejet 8600 printer on my W700ds to run through the network and another computer last night. The first time it happened last night I wasn't sure what to do so I held the power button until shutdown and when it rebooted and the RAID1 had to verify. This morning when it happened again I was a little fresher and put it into hibernation - Fn-F12 - and when I woke it it acted normally. I have just had a new mainboard installed on 1/15/2013 and a new processor installed on 1/22/2013 to cure other problems and have used it at least one full day after rebuilding without a problem before this started.

I did some research and found this document from Microsoft that might shed some light on your issue. According to Microsoft, this error is normally the result of graphics issues, but can also stem from RAM issues. There are two methods posted by Naman R, a moderator, that may be able to help you.

Reply and forward icons not appearing in mail app when I respond/forward from Gmail

When I reply or forward an email within the iphone mail app, the arrow icons showing I replied or forwarded appear beside the email in my iphone mail app inbox.
When I reply or forward from gmail, these icons do not appear in my iphone mail app. Does show that I have read and flagging/unflagging works.
Any thoughts?

Close out of the mail app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check your mail again.
