Computer is activated but can't play my tunes after change...

Hi all!
Maybe someone can help me out:
I recently changed the computer, properly migrated the user-accounts, but now I can't use my purchased music.
Itunes says this machine is not allowed to play the music, and, although it is activated (and the old one is de-activated), offers the option to activate the track/computer...

Thanks for asking (and keeping me on track)...
iTunes wasn't playing the protected tunes, but kept asking for authentification/activation. I looked again and realized it asked for an older ID, which I thought I had merged to the new one.
It seems that I managed to have 2 accounts, with some tunes on each of them. Got to find out if I can merge them into one...
thanks again, and if you can point me to a direction of howto merge accounts, I'd be grateful...

    Have you authorized the Computer to your Apple ID?
    If not, sign on to iTunes.
    Then got to the Store menu option at the top of the screen (CTL+B if it is not showing), and click on it to display the dropdown, and select Authorize this computer.
    If that doesn't work, then sign on your Dad's iTunes ID and repeat the Authorization process.

    I was having the same problem where only 1.7GB of 10GB of selected music would sync so I decided to start fresh.  The following steps worked for me:
    1.  Open itunes and connect iphone 5 if not already.  Uncheck all playlists, artists, etc. till nothing is checked to sync.  Then uncheck the sync music box so that all music will be removed from the phone.  Sync iphone
    2.  Eject device. Quit itunes (don't just close). unplug iphone.
    3.  Restart imac, macbook, or PC.
    4.  Restart iphone.
    5.  Now after power up, restart itunes then plug in iphone, check sync music and select music to sync.  Sync iphone
    6.  It worked for me!!!  Good luck.

    Just take a look at the last few days posts here and you'll see many people with the same problem and some possible solutions.
    But you should never do any software updates unless you have a bootable backup of your startup drive.  FCP7 is no longer being supported by apple and updating anything is fraught with dangers.

    I'm still dealing with this issue through Apple. Some time after I posted this, I contacted Apple again. They did start a case up for me, as I was experiencing the same behavior on two different machines, with two different versions of Windows.
    So far it remains unsolved. I've logged iClouds for Windows on my desktop, which is brand new, then logged for awhile after completely uninstalling Norton Security Suite, depending on the Microsoft security for some time, and finally logged after I uninstalled iCloud for Windows, restarted, installed a clean download, and connected using a completely different test account, which Apple set up for me. None of this made any difference. Looking at the logs, it seems every 10 minutes, iCloudServices.exe creates a new TCP connection to confirm I'm using less than 5GB on iCloud, (which I am by a good margin, using less than 2GB), it seems this connection is not closed, and when the next iteration rolls around 10 minutes later, a new TCP connection is created. I come very close to having 6 TCP connections created per hour, until I restart my computer. This works out to... 6 x 24 = 144/day.
    Perhaps the article you posted will shed some further light on this. I'm thinking seeing the state of the connection through netstats, at the least, could help.
    For the last week, I've been putting a hold on further logging, as Apple wants me to create a new user account on one of my computers, install iCloud for Windows there, and log it running in the other account. This however basically means I cannot use my computer for a fair number of hours, and I've been busy enough with work the past week that I haven't the time or energy to afford to set this up and run it. I've had need of my computers too much for the past week.

    Try calling 1-800-676-2775.  Give the serial number and thy *may* still burn you new install disks designed just for the hrdware in your system (for a fee, something like $160 per disk).  *May* is only because they may not burn disks for Leopard anymore.
    If they do not burn them for you, you can buy Leopard disks off Amazon or eBay for about $200.
    Have you considered Snow Leopard?.  Those disks only cost $19 (single user) or $29 (5-user license) through Apple by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE.

    CoComong A-Z Full versions by JNF Media error, we had buy the apps but can't play and songs at all after update last week.
    I try to send emal to seek help but no such email bounce back by mail demon. I write down my contact at deckorea which link from the support but say it korean words must join members.     Can you confirm that Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to Library is checked in the iTunes Edit menu > Preferences > Advanced tab > General sub-tab.
    If not, check it and go through the "Add file to library" procedure one more time.

    If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
    This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
    If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

    After doing some research, I found out that I had accidently hid iPhoto after I paused the download. After going into my apple id account and saw my hidden purchases, I found it. Thank you so much helping me though!
