Computer keeps on telling me to restart when I turn it on.
Just last night I shut down my laptop just like I always did. But when I woke up this morning, my computer won't load anymore after the blue screen. I tried to safe boot, but right in the middle of the loading, my MacBook turned off, which i assume was a battery problem because my laptop was at a very low charge last night when I turned it off. I charged it for a bit, then I tried turning on my laptop again and the message "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button until it turns off, then press the Power button again." greeted me. In the background it says:

i usually turn me iphone 4s at night to conserve battery, however last oct 19 it has restarted when i turn if off.and it still happens til now.
returned it to carrier for check up but after resetting, restoring and updating the ios, still not fixed.
requested for replacement, but they said it might not be approved beacause the charging port has been burned(as per them).
i didn't know how it got burned but this was never been overcharged nor had been contacted with water.
my battery drains very fast, at 1am, it was 47% when i wake up around 8am it goes down to 20%.Sorry no, there isn't a way to turn off those reminders.

STB continuously restarts when TV turned off
After having this STB for about 5 months, it just started doing this. When the TV is turned off, the STB restarts. It does it continuously unless I turn the power to the STB off. When I turn the TV back on, I will eventually get the "Press the Menu button" message on the TV.
This is really annoying since the thing makes a clicking noise when it restarts and this STB is in the bedroom.
I've tried unplugging it for a couple minutes but no luck.
Any ideas?
ThanksIf you have a 7xxx series STB, this is an error on the card validation. It can be fixed easily by calling tech support. Hopefully you will get a tech famililar with the problem but if not what they have to do is the following. (got this from my friend at tech support and it worked perfectly on my box when it happened)
they have to "revalidate" the card
then "auto-validate" the card
then "reload" the card
If they do all three things in this order it should fix that issue.

My skype keep showing i'm online even when i turn ...
I turn off all my devices and it keep showing that i'm online for my friends. When they try to call me, the call fails
There is a work around so that you will be shown offline when you log out from all devices.
1. Sign in to your account in the Skype application in a computer or a laptop.
2. Select any contact then type this to the message box: /showplaces then hit on send.
The /showplaces command will show the instances where you are currently logged in at that time.
3. Now type this command: /remotelogout then hit on send.
It will automatically log you out from your mobile devices, tablet, other laptop except on the one that you are using right now.
Lastly, all you need is to sign out from the Skype application on the computer that you are using and ask a friend if you show as Offline.
This one really works. Believe me

My MacBook Pro (2010) has Mavericks operating system. The other day I was working in pages and all of the sudden it notified me that auto save wasn't working anymore. So I restarted my computer and it went to this white screen. I've opened up my recovery disk and repaired it and it says that the disk is ok. Yet, it's still stopping at a white screen. What do I do?

you can try this: boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as it starts up. Once the OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, select the First Aid tab if it’s not already selected, then press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Does it get past the white screen now? -
I turned on my computer unaware that the internet cord was not attached.I clicked on modzilla firefox to open browser.It first had an update to download.So I let it run then the modzilla firefoxbrowser opened and said unable to connect.Is this right? Did I down load a update from firefox?
Just to be clear. You have downloaded the Yosemite installer. However you say while it's updating you get the error you are not online. This is confusing since you shouldn't be able to use your computer in the process of updating.
Exactly where do you see you need to 10.9 to get on Safari? -

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well. -

Getting today's dumbest topic over with - where is the documentation?
I'm trying to figure out how to stabilize some shaky footage. If I type 'stabilize' into the help menu search field it just points me to a video menu item, but I can't figure out how it works. In addition, nothing in the documentation is referenced.
