Computer knows Zen player is attached but Organizer does not! please he

Question

My computer shows my Zen player but I cannot find it in my Mediasource organizer!?! I have downloaded and re-downloaded everything I can find on the player but nothing hel
ps.
I did at one point manage to get music onto the player. I got the player from a friend who was upgrading, do I need the original installation cd's? Hopefully he still has them. I would really appreciate any help.
