Computer n00b needs overall help.

I got this MSI motherboard for the computer that I'm using right now. It it the first computer that I've built by myself and I'm pretty sure that I "done found me a good'n" when I chose this mobo other other mobos that were PCIExpress x16. I'm not really good at troubleshooting my problems concerning this and other products, but maybe someone here can help me finish up becuase I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

These are the other products that I got when I was building this computer. I put all of it in, and it works. But compared to other people with similar systems, my benchmark scores really suck. I got 53 FPS in Counter Strike: Source stress test and a score of 3434 points on 3dMark06. I'm sure that I"m doing something wrong.
First of all, the RAM, it's two sticks of 1GB each, and I put them in the first and second RAM slots. It works, and it registers as 2GB, but in the reviews on newegg.com it says that I have to "manually set the timings" to 2-3-3-6. What does this mean, and where do I do this in BIOS? I've looked, I have no clue ??? I ran Memtest on it for 2 hours, and it didnt bring up any errors, so I'm pretty sure that I have two good sticks of RAM.
The videocard was easiest to install, but I'm getting alot of artifacts in some of my games. Is this a driver problem or a videocard problem? Or maybe there's something in BIOS that I need to change? I'm a real n00b at building computers, seriously, BIOS is just abunch of gibberish to me. But most other people are getting 100+ FPS in CS:S stress test with highest settings while I"m stuck at the bottom with 53 FPS, and a 3434 score on 3dmark06. I havent overclocked anything, I dont overclock becuase I dont want to screw anything up. But this seems kinda wrong, and I dont know what the problem is.
I got the Athalon 64 4000+ single core processor, but I really dont know how it's affecting my performance. If there's anything that anyone can recommend me do, please say. I dont know if I should update the BIOS or not, I really dont want to take any chances of screwing things up because I payed alot of money for this mobo. Plus I've never done that before, what if I screw up?

Done, the BIOS is still the default one because I havent ever flashed a BIOS before and I dont want to risk doing so if I dont need to.

I looked through the manual but it really made no sense to me, I ought to have a friend help me with that. I was a little excited when I was building it so maybe looking through it now that I'm collected and calm will help me. I'll check and make sure that the voltage is set at 2.75, but if that's more voltage than my RAM can handle will it tell me?

AA and AF are turned on, AA at 8xS (?? dont exactly know what that means but that's what it says) and AF at 16x. The video card is plugged in and the fan is working, but in the reviews on newegg.com many users are complaining about the fan sucking ass and that they replaced theirs and that the heatsink doesnt cover the RAM properly. Never replaced a fan on a videocard before, but it doesnt seem too hard but maybe I should. Is there a way to check in BIOS how fast the videocard fan is working? I cant tell which fan is which, is it the Northbridge fan or is that the fan that's on the heatsink on teh mobo? Still, most people are getting 100+ FPS on CS: Source stress test with default everything so I think there's a problem on my end. the 6 pin connector was a converter that took two 4 pin power thingies to power it, dont know it that helps anyone or not. ATI tool works for nVidia cards? Didnt know that, but I'll try it, thanks for the help!

I dont actually know if they're "artifacts" or not, but maybe you would know. After I play for a bit, some of the textures in games will stretch out and get in the way of my viewing. I think that's what artifacts are. I'll try it in another computer, but I'll have to wait until I get to school on monday to try it out, as it's the only other place that has a PCI Express slot. But that's a good tip, thanks for the help.

I had a difficult time deciding which set of drivers were the right ones. I didnt know whether I should have downloaded them from teh nVidia site or the XFX site. Even then, in the newegg.com reviews people said that the drivers were still in beta and that they werent "WHCL certified", whatever that means. I think it's crazy that the drivers are still in beta, this card's been out for a while. But anyways, when I go to nVidia's site to download drivers, I get to http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp . From there I click on Graphics Driver and from there I dont know where to go. Should I download the "GeForce and TNT2" drivers or the "GeForce Go 7800 GTX" drivers? I dont have a 7800GTX, but maybe they mean that that's the drivers that I'm supposed to download if I have anything above 7800 GTX? http://www.xfxforce.com/web/support/viewDriver.jspa This is the driver that I'm using right now, which I'm pretty sure is the right one.

I guess what you are really asking is how to transfer your music from your desktop to your laptop once you have installed the iTunes program on the laptop.

Need some help: my itunes won't sync with my iphone anymore. Both softwares are up to date and I've reinstalled itunes. After I reinstall, it syncs. But then when I reboot my computer, it no longer syncs anymore and I have to keep reinstalling itunes. Thoughts???
thought that it was possible to have the same iTunes library on any machine that was authorised, a kind of cloud-iTunes I guess.

I need urgent help! I may have accidentally deleted everything on my friends computer!
Okay so my friend asked me to watch his house while he was away. He told me that I was welcome to use his computer or anything else in there. I went to log on to his iMac, but all the accounts were locked! So I searched for a way to get in (with my phone, online) and I found a process with the following steps:
1. Reboot
2. Hold apple + s down after you hear the chime.
3. When you get text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):
* mount -uw /
* rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
* shutdown -h now
4. After rebooting you should have a brand new admin account. When you login as the new admin you can simply delete the old one and you’re good to go again!
I did not plan on deleting the old one, I just wanted to create a new one. But after following these steps the computer went into setup mode as if it was just being started for the first time out of the box! Please, I really need your help because e has important files on the computer that he did not back up anywhere and I hope I didn't delete everything! He is upset with me already, but said we would be alright if I found a way to fix it. I really need your help, please answer as fast as possible!!I think you're OK actually...

I need any help i can get, im having trouble with the app find my iphone. I have lost my iphone, checked on the computer, and somehow, took it away so how do i get it back??If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

Need some help with computation
Hi, I need some help with the following:
My page 3 is a form thats shows, among other things, a document ID (:P3_DOC_ID). Next to this item I have created a button that calls a document selection form (page 10).
On selection this forms sets 2 items:
P10_SELECTED (Y or N)
P10_DOC_ID (the selected documents ID value)
When the user selects a document he returns to the calling form.
On page 3 I now try to capture the selected values. For a test item I managed to do this by defining this items source as:

thanks ReneYou might want to check if the "Source Used" attribute for P3_DOC_ID is set to always or to "only when ..." it sounds like you need it set to "only when ..."

Complete Java n00b...need some help
I'm very new to Java and I need some help writing a basic program.
I need to write a program that lets the user add up an infinite amount of floating point numbers. The program should compute the sum of all the numbers entered thus far. So for example if the user enters 2 and 3, it should give a number of 5. If the user then enters 4, I should give me 9 etc.
I'm not really sure how to get started on writing that. I can add up two numbers but I don't know how to tell the program to keep adding additional numbers to that sum. I need serious help! 'computer is unable to find driver for this platform'
i was just manually upgrading my OS X 10.4.7 mac mini to OS X 10.4.9 when halfway through the upgrade installation the computer froze and i had to reset it.
now everytime i turn on the computer it comes up with an error message saying:
panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0039C213): Unable to find driver for this platform: "ACPI"
the only option it gives me is to restart the computer which doesn't help.
can anyone please tell me how i can fix this?Well. I think you have only two option left:
Archive and Install: will re-install OS X preserving users and files.
Re-install 10.4.9 Combo Update: In order to do this, you either need another Mac running Tiger and capable of starting in FireWire Target Disk Mode and a FireWire cable, or an external bootable HD.
If you have another Mac that supports FireWire Target Disk Mode, you can proceed as follows:
In the working Mac (the Target machine) download the appropriate 10.4.9 Combo Update (PPC or Intel). Leave it on the Desktop. Do not run it.
Follow the steps of this article.
Once your Mini has booted from the Target machine disk, run the 10.4.9 Combo Update, selecting as the destination of the install the Mini's Hard Drive.
If you have a bootable external Hard Drive, (with OS X installed on it) boot from it (hold the Option key at startup), download the Combo Update and install it to the internal HD.
If you don't have a bootable external HD, you can still re-install the Combo Update booting from the Tiger install disk, and using an USB thumb drive (sometimes it may need to be formatted as HFS), following this cumbersome procedure.
