Computer partially starts and then power cuts off
Dear Apple Support Community,
I have an iMac running 10.8.5 and when I go to start the computer, the screen turns on, and after a moment or two, the screen cuts off. Any recommendations before bringing it to an Apple store?
I have already tried unplugging the computer from the power source, and plugging back in.

Do you hear the fan/harddive working when the screen cuts out?
When the screen cuts out, do you get a light when pressing the caps-lock key?

I keep trying to download itunes in Safari but get a message that and error has happened 2/3 and check window> activity. Then it shows A sever with the specified host name could not…… and then it cuts off the rest of the message. I have reset Safari and still nothing!!!
Very frustrated!!!It's downloading with Firefox 3.6.27 as I write. It's probably more a Safari problem in your case for which people on the Safari forum could provide suggestions. Or mybe just try again in a while as I suspect everybody is downloading right now.

Use Compressed Air to blow it out good, LCS was the Liquid Cooling System on the last/fastest G5s.
If you don't know the model, find the Serial# & use it on one of these sites, but don't post the Serial# here...

My Toshiba will get really hot on the bottom and then power itself off
I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop. When I am on it, the underside will get really hot, and it will shut itself off. If I unplug the power cord from the laptop and then plug it back in, it will power up again. Can someone tell me what is going on, and if I need to send it in to be repaired?? It isn't under warranty anymore so it is going to cost me, but I don't want my laptop to catch on fire either as that is how hot it gets sometimes. I just let it cool down before plugging it back in and playing on it again.

since i updated ios6 on my ipod directly from it it started all fine but then i pludget on the computer and it froze ... it only shows the apple it doesnt go even to lock screen have being like a day with 3 hrs since my ipod froze and sometimes shows a white screen.. i had tried to like turn off but cant its all time turn off/on what i have to do? please help me!
how long have you had your ipod? mine did the same but after a while you need to get a new one because of the battery...

Ok so my Macbook will start up I see the apple and then it turns off before it loads, I've tried resetting the PRAM the SMC and the ctrlapplepowerbutton and noen of i works, I hold down Option and I can choose to boot from CD or windows but if i click that it shuts down. The only way the computer stays on is in Target Mode. Anyone know what I can do. My warranty is up and i can't afford to have them just look at it just yet.
ThanksI know my Mac is old, but it works just fine. It's just that even though the battery is full, and all the indicators tell me it is, if the power cord happens to fall off (it's the magnetic one), the whole Mac dies suddenly, doesn't save anything that's open at the time and requires a hard boot to get going again, and only if the cord is plugged. I'm assuming my battery is old anyway, as before this started, it hadn't held the charge for more than an hour. Am I better off replacing the entire machine or replacing the battery and cord and hope that works?

When turning on my printer, the scanner moves and then moves back to start and turns my printer off. I can not turn my printer back on unless I unplug it and plug it back in. Then it just does the same thing again and again and again.

I see you're having power issues. I would like to help!
I'd recommend starting with a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also recommend plugging the printer power into a different wall outlet.

How do you configure the test control?
Please make sure you are specify the team collection instead of team project.
On the other hand, you may enable test controller logs. (You could share the log file on the OneDrive)

Since updating my Iphone to ios 8, my hands free in the car (Radiosat) is not working correctly. The phone pairs ok with car, and my phone is recognised but then it cuts off the radio and says that I'm in a call, I can't cancel the call or do anything. I have taken my car to my local dealer but they say the Radiosat is working ok?

I was researching the issue you are having and recommend a couple of things. First it might be a good idea to reset the device following iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't quite get the device going again, I recommend restoring the device.

Might even be a good idea to turn off the phone, reseat the SIM card, and turn it back on.

my iphone 4s shuts itself off all the time. starts normal and then shut it off and start all over again, what is wrong?
Your iPHone is designed by intention to shut off when there is a reason for the softwarer to believe that danger is immenent to the hardware. This can occurr if the software is running applications that have been corrupted due to all types of different scenarios. My best advice to you would be to restore your device back to default manufactures settings and do NOT restore the current backup of the IOS program currently running.
If this corrects the problem with your device intermittently restarting you will then know you have had applications there were corrupted on your device. Once you are convinced there are no issues with the hardware of your device you then are free to begin downloading software apps that were earlier on the device.

Today I'm not able to start OracleXETNSListener, thus not able to open APEX workspace.
Whenever I tried to start the listener I got the message below:

Yahoo mail will not populate in firefox, works in explorer.
