Computer programs blink problem

I have a Thinkpad T530 (Window 8 OS, i7-3720), since I bought the computer, the programs (such as browsing internet or a folder, running MS office etc.) blink all the time. This didn't bother me so much, but recently it makes me hard to type or capture any manual on the start-bar.
I am wondering what causes the problem and any solution.

- to retain app data and other information, connect the iPod to yur computer and make a backup by right clciking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up

Note that the Backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.

Hi Everyone,
I have a program that sends information(analog output) to lab windows cvi in the form of a text file or user input.
The program runs on the computers that I have the field point explorer and lab windows cvi installed on. In order to run the program without always installing labwindows/cvi and field point; I wanted to create an executable file that could be load on another computer.
I used the create distribution kit part of labwindows/cvi to do this.After creating the distribution kit, I then installed it
to another computer.
My user interface appears on the screen, when the user clicks on the exe. file, but no data is sent to the field point module. I know that the data is being read from the user and textfile because in it appears in the uir.
The following are some details about the problem:
1. On another computer without labwindows/cvi and field point explorer not installed - no data is sent to field point module
I know this because a current is being read on the current meter connected to field point module.
My questions are the following:
1. What are the possible reasons for the data not being sent to the field point module?
2. Do I still need to create an iak. (Installing Field point Explorer) file stored on any new computer that I install my created distribution kit file too?

1) If you do not install FieldPoint Explorer, the FieldPoint Server is not installed so there is nothing on the target computer that knows how to talk to the FieldPoint system.
2) Yes, you need an IAK file on the target computer. Assuming the settings (i.e. com port#) are identical you can simply include the iak file as part of the distribution.
3) You also need to include as part of your installer the file "fplwmgr.dll". If this file is not installed, your program will not be able to access the FieldPoint Server. Alternatively, this file is installed automatically if FieldPoint Explorer detects LabWindows/CVI or Measurement Studio Development versions on the target computer or if you choose to do a custom FieldPoint Explorer installation and
choose to provide LabWindows/CVI support.

I've sold one Macbook and two minis on ebay with no problem. I always use Paypal and only ship to a Paypal verified address. On each sale I got just about what I paid for the macs minus Paypals cut. Selling to a live person for cash may sound good but you're letting someone know you have an expensive laptop at your home and that might bring the wrong person. I have sold on eBay for several years (feedback 300+) and have never been scammed. People try of course, you always get the emails asking where you are and can they come by. Or you get the offer to buy your laptop for $500 more than it's worth IF you send them the laptop via their fedex account and they pay on receipt. NOT! If you sell on eBay use Paypal and ship to verified address sellers are covered too for problems with sales. Good luck in selling your Mac you should get a good price.

The letters and numbers are not forming properly, do I have an compatibility issue? Is there an adjustment for this? My computer programs and explorer are ok.

If i move the curser over the letters or numbers they snap up bright. In about 30 seconds they go back to the blurry state. This only happens on Firefox. not explorer or my regular computer programs.

First you have two Shockwave Flash and Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape installed in your computer:

So, try disable the hardwareacceleration:
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".

AP Computer Programming Practice Exam

I am in Advanced Placement Computer Programming 12, a High school Java Class. My teacher is actually the AIT teacher, and the visual basic teacher, and does not seem to know much about Java since he cannot answer most of my questions. I was given a textbook and told to learn, because the teacher teaches us and the normal Computer Programming students (Visual Basic) at the same time, and they are more important. However, we do pass in assignments to him.
He has been marking me down for forgetting the date in the comments, for forgetting to name my variables with a type (double dblVarName, instead of my way, varName), not enough whitespace, etc. Is this even allowed? It is not in the textbook. I should also mention I have been programming for 4 years and I know 16 languages including C++, but my specialty is PHP, so I code WAY differently then him, and lose points because of my style.
All of my programs to work EXACTLY as the book shows they should. I do an exam for him and the official college level exam, so i don't know what to do. I should also mention that half of the people have failed HIS exam in the last 4 years, and all of them except 2 have failed the College Level Exam. My Physics teacher who is a programmer told me to download the practice exam for the College Level one, so I was wondering where to find it, any ideas?

It just sounds in this case both of you have a rather large case of themselves. You are going to be required to accept some standards in your programming career--even in college there is some discretionary points given for style--yes, white space, variable naming, the number of lines in your code, readability and etc. (I'm not saying he has the end all of styles or what he is requiring is correct, but he is the one you have to please right now with your style--it rather foolish not to--he's the one with the grade book.)
Getting a program to work it only part of the desired result, it's about time you learned that. You have to be able to cut easily readable, easily maintainable, highly cohesive, correct code. Yes, pretty print actually counts in the real world too. Decide to do it right now and you'll be a lot better off later on.
When you get to college you're going to find one thing: everyone is going to be the top of their class... AP placement... programmed for X years... knows XX languages... etc. You're finding that just getting it to work is not the end all of the problem. DO IT RIGHT, and learn what your instructor is trying to teach you... get some style that you can be proud to show in a job interview instead of what you are doing now.
BTW: I had a very similar attitude going into college, and shock of my life... everyone was the top of their HS programming classes. This was driving home to me in my Senior year in a Systems Programming class that was taught by the CS Department Chair. He stood up in front of the class and faced us very solumn faced and sternly asked: "Who here thinks they are gifted?"
I raised my hand and he looked at the others and siad: "What's the matter with the rest of you? You are the top 2%, if you're not gifted who is?"

Computer lockup - the problem found

i discovered the problem very quickly and would like to let you know that the problem lies in the “screen saver “ program that comes loaded on the Mini Mac:
i used the “SHELL” and as set after an hour it would come on , but has difficulty getting out of it once a keyboard or mouse is touched. A corrective update must be written to remedy this issue

I have never performed a backup with video files, as I don't have any.
Nevertheless, based on the way the PSE Organizer works, I am relatively certain that the tags for videos are included in the backup (as well as the tags for photos). I'm also relatively certain that both photos and videos are included in the backup. (Note: I am referring to backups made via the Organizer command File->Backup Catalog)
But the only way to know for sure is to cross your fingers and try it.

You can, assuming you select around the pixels you want to copy, and the selected region isn't too large.
There are a variety of ways you can get the copy operation wrong, e.g., by not having the proper layer selected or similar.
And there's a secret setting to enable Photoshop to export its clipboard no matter how large the selected pixel set is. Note the setting I have bolded below. Keep in mind that by making this setting you may be subjecting all the software on your computer that registers to receive clipboard data to datasets that are larger than it might expect. In other words, there could be a downside. That being said, I haven't had any problems on my Windows 8 system.

You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

Go back to her login. Unless you deliberately erased apps, they should all be there, both yours and hers! Then, you need to set up each iPad separately. You will notice that they have separate names for that very purpose.
There is no problem with multiple Apple IDs on the same iTunes on the same computer except... Apps are permanently associated with the ID that was originally used to obtain them. If you choose to update an app from inside iTunes and you're logged into the "wrong" ID, you must log out and back in again.
On the bright side, you can configure either or both iPads to sync with apps and music and movies, etc. from either or both IDs. Further, if you choose to update the apps from the iPads themselves, there is no need to log out/in. The device handles that. All you need is the correct password. In my case, I use the same password for both IDs to make things easier.

I have a 17" Macbook pro with flickering red and cyan(blue) lines across the screen. The issue disappears temporarily when I tap on the computer, and the problem does not occur when I use external display or try to screen capture the problem.

I purchased my Macbook (17") through a certified apple tecnition in August 2012, it was refurbished and the motherboard was completely replaced. I do a lot of photo editing, but I have been unable to do so because of the red vibrating lines that interrupt my screen. I brought the computer back to the technition I purchased it from and he said that it was a problem with my fan, so I have two new fans but the issue is still occuring. He says he doesnt know whats wrong. Does anyone have any information on this issue?

I recommend having your Mac serviced by someone competent. A force sufficient to "blow apart" the fans was clearly excessive and may have damaged the display cable, as well as any number of other problems.
Dust is properly cleaned with a vacuum, preferably one designed for computer service, and they are not cheap.
Compressed air should never be used. It just blows dust everywhere, often into places where it can no longer be removed.

RDC for MAC cannot connect to TS server with error message "You were disconnected from the Windows-based computer because of problems during the licensing protocol".

the mac clients are running RDC for mac version 2.1 and they cannot connect to Windows 2008 R2 TS server. They get the error "You were disconnected from the Windows-based computer because of problems during the licensing protocol".

and I've got same results as dle2k
1. TS lic mode is set to per user confirmed it works for windows clients.
2. the TS server's system log logged error "The Terminal Server security layer detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client".
3. the reports shows per user cal has been issued to users. no temp per device cal has been issued.
4. yes, CoRD works .
5. we tried version 2.1.1 of the Mac RD Client but it also does not work.
