Computer turned off, can not start it again.

My computer has been strange the last months, Safari and Firefox turn's off between 5-10 times a day. It crash everyday, and then i have to
start the safari/firefox site again. Execpt for that, Iphoto also started to not work, at the same time as the other happend. I can not open Iphoto
anymore, and see the pictures. Yesterday, firefox crashed a lot of times, so i turned off the computer and when i wanted to start it again, it didn't
work. When i click on the powerbotton the computer starts, but it will only load some minutes, and then the only thing you see is a white screen
with the apple. I can not use my computer, whats the wrong with it? ONLY 1 YEAR old computer!!!

Hi,
Occasionally, the Welcome screen leaves a process running which prevents the second attempt to start the organizer or editor.
There is no fix but the workaround is to create shortcuts direct to the applications and use them each time.
Create shortcuts pointing to the following files:-
Organizer: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"
Editor: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
Please let us know if they work.

Suddenly laptop off and not start up again

laptop stopped/ off suddenly and ON again with black/off screen, fan and all LED remains ON including charging LED when i force off it and trying to ON it by pressing the power button, fan

Lost Pages Document when Computer Turned off---Can it be retrieved?

any chance documents that i'm working on in pages & haven't saved can be retrieved if the computer is turned off?
was working on something all day, left, came back to continue, but computer somehow had turned off and I can't find it.
is there a place that "drafts" in pages are saved? or documents in pages that have never been saved?

There is also an AppleScript able to autosave iWork's documents.
Not only it saves the doc in the native format but it saves a time stamped zip archive allowing us to recover file if the HD crash.
File recovery tools are unable to recover iWork's native documents but they are able to recover zip archives.

Pc turned off and wont start up again.

Ive ben using my pc for about a year with not to many problems.
But I was using my computer yesterday and it just turned off and wont power up any more. I press the on button and nothing happens at all, no fans, not cd drive no nothing.
My first thoughts are maybe its mobo or psu related. From looking at the back of my computer i can see that my LAN lights are powered (altough my router says its not, wich it usualy does when it is off) .
And if i unplug my pc at the mains and plug it back in then my webcam (which is usb powered) makes it's 'i have power' noise and my ram (which has status lights) power up for a few seconds).
My spec is:
Msi 875p NEO FIS2R
intel Pentium 4 3ghz
1024 (2*512 mb) Crucial xms)
enermax 550w psu
thermal take xaser iii case
160 maxtor Sata HDD

Ok, I've tested the switch, thats fine.
Then i took mobo and psu out of case and tested it with just ram and cpu. This resulted in nothing, the fans would like rotate 2cm.
I reset the bios/CMOS. but this didn't appera to do anything.
I reseated the components that were in there (CPU and RAM) but this sisn't change anything.
Then I removed everything so it was literally psu and motherboard. and just tested them on their own. Still would not power up. The fans would spin for about a second and then i could smell a bad smell, but i could not identify it.
I guess this narrows it down the motherboard or psu now. What do you think? and ideas?

IPhone turning off and not back on again unless reset

Hi, thanks for looking. When unplugged from a power source and put in sleep mode manually or automatically, the phone won't turn back on unless I reset it. This means that it won't recieve any incoming texts or calls, and my alarm won't go off either. I've already ran through the trouble shooter, reset it to factory defaults, etc. Any help is appreciated

Two things to try; most likely you phone actually has an issue and you need to set up at appointment at your nearest apple store ot have it fixed (apple.com/retail) pick whatever store is closest.
However; windows computers often "attack" ipods or iphones thinking they are a virus. You may want to turn off your virus protection and plug the phone in again and try restoring it without any virus stuff on.
However, it sounds as long it's not a software issue but a hardware one and restore won't fix that.

I am/was having this issue as well. I created an install image from a 10.4.6 DVD image. Nothing special, nothing added; just the install disk. The image creation was supposedly successful. I was sharing the image via http on the imaging server. I was seeing the same behavior; the install would seem to start booting (network icon replaced by spinning gear) but then shut down. I tried the install on a G5 workstation and an eMac G4 with the same result.
As part of my troubleshooting I switched the delivery method to NFS from HTTP. Success! I have successfully imaged the eMac. I will try the G5 later today. I hope this helps.

Did you try to wait a bit longer before restarting Firefox to give Firefox more time to close down completely?

Where can i exchange my not working iphone bought in Switzerland (on july 12, 2012.) that just turned off and not working since. In croatian store they don't want to give me replacement phone!!!!

I have bought iphone 4s on July 12, 2012.in Zurich in offical Apple store (Glattzentrum) and after one and a half months it just turned off and not working since. I tried three charges and nothing (it detects that charger is on but it cannot be charged). So now I have a not working phone only two and something months after purchase. But the problem is that in Croatia we have two apple reseller stores and neither don't want to exchange it, although is under warranty!!!! The closest stores are 250 km from Zagreb...Of course I have contacted Apple store in Zurich but they told me to come in Switzerland or to send credit card data for receiving new iphone, the problem is I don't have credit card with 700 euro on it!!!! what to do?? who to call ??? where to get replacment device cause this is disaster???? I wanted to buy ipad but after all this I doubt to do so...I have not working Iphone payed around 700 chf or 800 usd and cannot change it in my country, is it possible for such vast organization like apple that this things can occur????? So much for customer support
