Computer will not load OSX Just Vista

I installed vista on my imac and now it will not start OSX. The bootcamp software should ask whitch one I will like to start up, but for some reason it just starts vista only and does not give me a choice. HELP!

You hold the Option Key (alt) down when you start up to switch between Windows and OSX.
You can also use...
Preferences/Startup Disk/ and then choose which disk to start with.
Hope this helps.

Hello there Hotley808,
I would recommend deleting the app, and then redownloading it from the iOS App store.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
Apps on iOS
Open the App Store on your device.
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Tap Updates from the bottom navigation bar.
Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
Tap the download button.
All the very best,

hello my computer will not load the photoshop program as it has Inefficient disc space how can i fix this please?

Hi The Lad,
If you have "INSUFFICIENT" disk space, then you can try and change the install location while performing the installation of the desired product. I am not sure when the error message would pop up saying that the disk space is "INEFFICIENT". Could you please share a screen shot of the error message along with the system information.
Cheers,

• Tools/Add-ons, then the page will not 'load' symbel just keeps going round

the Add-ons page will not load, it just goes round a long long time and will not open,
WinXP, Avira AV, Firefox 6

By default the "Get Add-ons" tab is selected if you open the about:addons page (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons)
That page tries to load content from the Mozilla server and that can take some time especially if the Mozilla servers are busy.
You can click on the Extensions tab to see the installed extensions or one of the other tabs to see other installed add-ons.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

• My computer will not load certain websites

Hi,
Both Safari and Firefox will not load certain websites consistantly (Twitter is one of them). I check on my wife's computer and they can load on her computer no problem. It shows the "Problem Loading Page" message. I've cleared history, cache, everything that I can think of. Any ideas?
Thanks,

• I'm connected but computer will not load sites

I have a WRT54G ver. 6 and I can't figure out what's wrong with the connection. The household has two laptops and one desktop(wired) connected to the router. My computers will say they're connected but will not load web pages. There's no data transfer. Sometimes repairing the connection will fix the problem but most the time it does not. Usually I have to disconnect the power to the router then reconnect it. That fixes it, but lately I'm having to do this several times in a day, which gets annoying. Occasionally I'll see the a box popup that says I'm connected to the internet even though I've been connected for awhile. Even my desktop that's wired to the router will stop loading pages. Does anyone know what would do that? Is my router going bad? Is there a way to run a router through some kind of self diagnostic?

I have a Dell Inspiron 8600 w/ linksys Wireless B card and a Dell Inspiron e1505 w/ Intel Wireless Pro card.
When only one computer has access to the router it seems to work fine, so I'm convinced it has something to do with how the router distributes the internet connection to several computers it has trouble.

• My computer will not start. Just the wheel spinning

My computer will not start. I get the apple with a spinning wheel.
What is happening?

Take each of these steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved.
Step 1
The first step in dealing with a boot failure is to secure your data. If you want to preserve the contents of the startup drive, and you don't already have at least one current backup, you must try to back up now, before you do anything else. It may or may not be possible. If you don't care about the data that has changed since your last backup, you can skip this step.
There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
a. Boot into the Recovery partition, or from a local Time Machine backup volume (option key at startup.) When the OS X Utilities screen appears, launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in this support article, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”
b. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode. Use the working Mac to copy the data to another drive. This technique won't work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
c. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.
Step 2
Press and hold the power button until the power shuts off. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to boot, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Use a different keyboard and/or mouse, if those devices are wired. If you can boot now, one of the devices you disconnected, or a combination of them, is causing the problem. Finding out which one is a process of elimination.
If you've booted from an external storage device, make sure that your internal boot volume is selected in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences.
Step 3
Boot in safe mode. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
When you boot in safe mode, it's normal to see a dark gray progress bar on a light gray background. If the progress bar gets stuck for more than a few minutes, or if the system shuts down automatically while the progress bar is displayed, your boot volume is corrupt and the drive is probably malfunctioning. In that case, go to Step 5.
If you can boot and log in now, empty the Trash, and then open the Finder Info window on your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) Check that you have at least 9 GB of available space, as shown in the window. If you don't, copy as many files as necessary to another volume (not another folder on the same volume) and delete the originals. Deletion isn't complete until you empty the Trash again. Do this until the available space is more than 9 GB. Then reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)
If the boot process hangs again, the problem is likely caused by a third-party system modification that you installed. Post for further instructions.
Step 4
Sometimes a boot failure can be resolved by resetting the NVRAM.
Step 5
Launch Disk Utility in Recovery mode (see Step 1.) Select your startup volume, then run Repair Disk. If any problems are found, repeat until clear. If Disk Utility reports that the volume can't be repaired, the drive has malfunctioned and should be replaced. You might choose to tolerate one such malfunction in the life of the drive. In that case, erase the volume and restore from a backup. If the same thing ever happens again, replace the drive immediately.
This is one of the rare situations in which you should also run Repair Permissions, ignoring the false warnings it may produce. Look for the line "Permissions repair complete" at the end of the output. Then reboot as usual.
Step 6
Reinstall the OS. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade.
Step 7
Repeat Step 6, but this time erase the boot volume in Disk Utility before installing. The system should automatically reboot into the Setup Assistant. Follow the prompts to transfer your data from a Time Machine or other backup.
Step 8
This step applies only to older Macs (not current models) that have a logic-board ("PRAM") battery. Both desktop and portable Macs used to have such a battery. The logic-board battery is separate from the main battery of a portable. A dead logic-board battery can cause a gray screen at boot. Typically the boot failure will be preceded by loss of the startup disk and system clock settings. See the user manual for replacement instructions. You may have to take the machine to a service provider to have the battery replaced.
Step 9
If you get this far, you're probably dealing with a hardware fault. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested. If you can't get to an Apple Store, go to another authorized service provider.

This Morning my MacBook Pro would not load up. I would hit the power button and the initial loading screen would come up with the Gray Apple Icon and the loading circle and will run for about 2 minutes before it shuts down the computer and starts up doing this again.
I am kind of at a loss...any suggestions?

• Will not load OSX

so my mom was "putting pictures" on the PB and it crashed so she rebooted and ever since it gets to the loading OSX where the bar fully loads and then its a blue screen...so i did a reisntall of OSX and now whenever I boot it gets to the apple logo and the circle thing wont start...and its making this weird noise...ive also done the Disk Utility where it didnt find any problems
should i do a whole new install...reformat the whole thing while loosing all her data or is there another solution
thanks in advance

I would stop using it. There's a chance you can get data off if the drive has a little life left.
Then when you are ready, try the free demo of DataRescuell .
If the demo "sees" your stuff, you can purchase the full version to rescue the bigger files.
If that does not work, and the data is real important or expensive to replace, your only chance is an expensive Data Recovery service. They can remove data from dead drives. Otherwise, it's off to the store for a new hard drive, and start over.
Cheers!
