Computers Not reported yet

Hi,
I'm having problems with a WSUS configured on a Windows Server 2012 R2.
The computers take and install the updates but in console they appear as
Not reported yet (different type of operation system - Windows 7, 8, 8.1, Server 2008, 2008R2, 2012 and 2012R2).
I've tried to delete the computers from server, wuauclt /resetauthorization /reportnow but the result was the same.
From all workstation I can access all WSUS related IIS links without any problem.
I attach a windowsupdate.log from a station:

Yes, on the same server it's installed and configured a SCCM 2012 R2.
Well, that's that then. Configuration Manager Software Updates clients do NOT report to the WSUS server.
From what i've seen reinstalling OS of the system resolves the problem, but this cannot be a solution.
No, it won't, because shortly thereafter ConfigMgr is going to grab ahold of that system again and make it a ConfigMgr client, and disable client reporting to the SUP.
The *solution* is to ENABLE reporting to the Software Update Point in the ConfigMgr SUP Configuration settings.

  • Non-domain computers not reporting

I have a few machines that are not joined to the domain, but use our domain joined WSUS server.  Never had a problem before, but this problem seems to have started when I did the migration to 2012 R2.  I used the TechNet migration procedures that
I later found can be somewhat problematic.  I just discovered that the computers not joined to the domain are having issues.  I'm still trying to confirm whether they're actually getting updates, but the certainly aren't reporting.
I have confirmed the clients cannot contact http://myserver/selfupdate/wuident.cab.  I've looked at permissions in IIS, but the only article I've found is for WSUS 3.2 (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd939903(v=ws.10).aspx).  It talks
about anonymous access being enabled for reportingwebservice and I verified it is.  I've also found people reference a ReportingWebService virtual directory in IIS, but I only see it as an application and not a virtual directory so I'm guessing they changed
the way that works since all my domain joined machines work just fine.  Can anyone provide a 2012 R2 reference to setting permissions correctly so I can confirm that?
I'm getting these errors in WindowsUpdate.log:
WU client failed Searching for update with error 0x80244019

It looks like you have not included the port number, 8530 is used by default with 2012R2. Try http://myserver:8530/selfupdate/wuident.cab.

Client diagnostic output show all pass except at:
useWuserver is enabled .... pass the error message:
    VerifyWUServerURL() failed with hr=0x80072efe
the connection with the server was terminated abnormally
    end
any input is appreciated.  Many Thanks

First, per the subject line, if your WSUS server really is still Build 226, then you need to patch it, and that would likely account for client connectivity issues.
    VerifyWUServerURL() failed with hr=0x80072efe
Second, the 0x80072EFE error, specifically, is a connection aborted error.
Something is breaking the connection between the client and the server. The client is not using a proxy server. Does it need to use a proxy server? Are there any other devices (routers, web filters, etc.) between this client and the WSUS server? Are they
    on the same IP Subnet?

The connection with the server has been terminated.

  • Mac OS Version not reported correctly in ARD

Using ARD admin 3.7.2 the screen displays Mac OS Version as 10.9.2 but on the computer "About this Mac" clearly shows OSX 10.9.3.
Other computers that are running 10.9.3 show correctly.  I have re-scanned but no change.  Deleted computer from "All Computers" and re-scanned, no change.
Why are certain computers not reporting their current Mac OS Version correctly?

I discovered that if I did the "Upgrade Client Software", the Mac OS Version shows correctly now.  The client software was already 3.7.1 but apparently re-installing it fixed the problem.

  • "this computer has not reported status yet"

I am trying to configure the SC 2012 R2 ConfigMgr to deploy Endpoint to our client computers and replace the old WSUS server.
I have created a boundary based on IP range (so that it does not mess with the other computers until we retire the old WSUS) and two boundary groups (one for content location and one for site assignment).
The ConfigMgr (device collections) "knows" the OU for the test computers. When I go to assets & compliance \ overview \ devices, I can see the computers from the OU : site code is correct, client is "no" and client type is "none".
The Update Services console "sees" the computer (correct name, correct IP) but the status remains at "not yet reported".
I had to mannually install the client agent from \\sccmserver\sms_site\client. According to Update Services, the server version is 6.3.9600.16384. According to WindowsUpdate.log on the client computer, Client version is Core : 7.9.9600.16422 & Aux :
    7.9.9600.16384.
Any suggestion for my next move ?
    THX

  • Not reporting computers list?

Is there a way to set up something to show me a list of the computers that haven't reported in 30 days so I don't have to hunt through all our set up groups to find the 8 or so offenders?

From the WSUS Administration console, click Options, and then click
Personalization. On the To Do List tab, select the following item:
Computers have not reported status for more than 30 days
That won't give the O.P. what he's asking for. The ONLY thing this option does is supress (or not) the item from the To-Do List popup. It does not provide a list of the machines not reporting -- which was the original request, was it not?

  • HT201268 i tried for 4 day now to remove a podcast and it has not work yet. i've even did a (Click Report a Concern) and sent an email and still no answer

i tried for 4 day now to remove a podcast and it has not work yet.

I have tried clicked "remove podcast" on each of the DMLive podcast pages, explaining to them who I was and what my job title was here, but all I got in return was an e-mail that said "have the administrator contact us." As I explained above, there is no admin on this account anymore and whoever was the admin has long since moved on.
    Jeremy,
For understandable reasons, just because there is "no admin on this account anymore" does not mean they will take instructions from someone else.
Make clear to Customer Service that you are now the officially responsible party on that account now.

  • Office Telemetry Agent Last Run Result 0x800700005 and machines not reporting back in the Telemetry Dashboard

We have had the Office Telemetry Dashboard setup for a while now as part of our Office 2013 evaluation and it currently reports back on 117 Computers which roughly matches up with the number of agents we have deployed. However, I have recently discovered
that some computers do not show up on the dashboard when searching under either their computer name or username. Having looked locally at these machines they report a Last Run Result code of 0x800700005 on the Task Scheduler. Not exactly sure what this
means as I know its a fairly generic code. I can run the telemetry dashboard locally on the effected machines and all appears ok. I have looked at the main Telemetry Processor Log file on our server (%windows%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Local\Temp\dperrorlog.txt)
and can see there are quite a few machines reporting that Office Telemetry Processor deleted the folder \\ServerName\SharedFolderName\ComputerNameReference because the files in the folder haven't been uploaded for more than 2 hours. I tried googling this error
    but got nothing back.
The machines in question are running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1, Office 2013 and the telemetry agent is configured through Group Policy. We also have a number of Office 2007 clients
running the agent but I have not yet checked to see if any of these ones are not reporting back.
Can anyone help troubleshoot this issue further to try and establish why some machines are not showing up in the dashboard logs. I have gone through the troubleshooting info here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219431.aspx#tshooting
but so far can't find a solution.
    Thanks.

I tried running the agent as admin and it returned a last run result of 0x41301 which I believe means the Task is currently running but its been like this for several days with nothing being reported back yet.
For all the other agents that appear to be running fine they show up on the dashboard with each non-admin username which is what we need to run reports based on individual users so I cant understand why this would be a permissions problem. The permissions
on the shared folder were setup using the automated option when installing the telemetry processor on the server. I have tried just adding in one of the problem users to have full control to see if this makes a difference but have not tested this yet.
Anyone have any tips on troubleshooting the DPErrorLog file? There doesn't appear to be much out there in the way of documentation for this stuff. Is anyone else using the Telemetry Dashboard successfully as part of their Office 2013 evaluation?
    Thanks.

  • Desktops are not reporting, patches cause WSUS to fail to operate properly (and still desktops don't report)

I'm running WSUS 3.0 SP2 (3.2.7600.226) on Windows 2008R2 with SQL Server 2008R2 Standard (Max db size 524,272 terabytes)
I am not using SSL for updates, nor to contact my upstream server.
I have rebuilt this server four times since Feb 5.  This may be related to the problem
When I look at the computers, it indicates none of them are responding (one was, but it has since stopped).  In the last rebuild, I created a test OU in my AD and applied group policy to only computers in that OU.  so right now i'm managing one
    computer, it is not responding.
Using information gleaned from this article (http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/372404-wsus-some-clients-fail-to-report-status-please-help) I
    tried the following:
    clientdiag.exe reported no errors
    group policy is being enforced
I can browse to 8530 on my WSUS server from the client machine
I removed the susclientid and susclientidvalid registry keys and ran wuauclt /resetauthorization. The keys repopulated a couple times, but the most recent time, they did not.
I show that the selfupdate url works (in windowsupdate.log)
My WindowsUpdate.log for a wuauclt /detectnow complains of

I found several articles telling me to install KB272011 and/or 2734608, but when i install them, WSUS has a stroke (i can't synchronize, i cant view synchronization history, i can't run any reports, i can't remove the updates and while i can find
workarounds for 272011, they don't work for 2734608). So right now i do not have them installed. I am fresh from the first synchronization with one computer being managed.
I've additionally tested the urls for SimpleAuthWebService and ReportingWebService that are logged in the WindowsUpdate log and SimpleAuthWebService loads in the browser, ReportingWebService claims it is set to remote only so it throws an error, but it responds.
Are there perhaps other, newer patches for wsus that would solve my signature validation problem?  Do I have to jump up and down on one leg while holding my nose and applying the patches to keep them from giving my WSUS server a stroke?  (I followed
the directions here most recently (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2734608) and the result was as described.  Synchronization history crashes wsus, running a report crashes wsus)
Is the failure to validate the signature related to the failure to re-create the susclientid and susclientidvalid keys?
    Thanks

I have applied this patch.  The desktop is not reporting but it is reporting a new error (see below)
I now have two computers being managed, the wsus server itself which is reporting, and the
I added the wsus server to the computers list using gpo and that server is reporting. As mentioned, the desktop is still not reporting but is reporting a new error.
Here is the contents of windowsupdatel.log.  I am researching the error code, but haven't yet found a solution.

    Greeting All,

User data is not indexed, yet. Index user data first>. even that I ran the z_ESH_AU_UPLOAD_AUTH_RFC_720 report in R/3 system.. and checked the auth /user data in the admin cockpit.. and it was indexed..
1.any idea why I keep getting this error
2.any idea how can I clean the buffer or the message Queu.. my guess this might  be not error but a q message..
    3. any suggestion please
    Thanks

    Hi Areege,
I noticed that you created an OSS message on this issue. That was a good idea.
There is an answer for you in OSS from yesterday.

  • Computers not appearing in WSUS downstream replica server

    Hello guys,
I need your advice on the setup of the replica servers. I currently installed a WSUS replica downstream server on one of our locations for the clients/servers in the same place to get the updates locally.
Now we are on Server 2012, on this box has WDS service working and I have decided to setup a WSUS replica here. So added WSUS role & SSL is enabled, so ports 8531 & 8530 are allowing traffic on the replica server. Now synching works fine with the
upstream server as far as updates & computer GROUPS were synch fine. Now the issue, is the computers are not showing up in the computer groups for the replica server in contrast with the upstream which has the computers. What could  be the reason?
I have configured already the GPO for the clients intended to get updates for the replica, client side targeting & "Specify a MS intranet location..." is configured with the REPLICA servername:port. Am I missing anything? Please help..
    Thank you, Mon

    Hi Mon Laq,
Please check your upstream and downstream server have any event occur, the client which not reporting must have error log.
Check if name resolution is working for parent server from this replica server, GPO were not applied correctly, please to confirm the sync between the upstream
and downstream server is working properly,
The following similar thread solution you can refer first.

  • How to track/check on which production orders are not confirmed yet?

    Dear Experts,
Is there any transaction or processes to check, only those production orders which are not confirmed yet?
Besides the transaction code, I would kindly like to request you to provide me a small overview of it. Your support will be really  appreciated.
    Thank you in advance!
    wishes,
    jeevan

    Hi,
Please refer the below screen for COOIS report. Please check on Sys status as CNF Excl. It will show you all the orders which is not with CNF.
COOIS/COOISPI (For process industries) is very useful report where you can see entire details of orders. You can see report both on planned order and production/process order. As well the report can be seen in several level like header, component, operations etc..
Different layout for display is also possible for different users.
Please try it by different options. You will find the functionality of the Transaction.
    Regards,
    Krishnendu.

I recently received 2 emails form Apple checking if I had purchased 2 games from the App store that were downloaded to computers not associated with my ID. They then advised me to change my password if I had not made those purchase.  How do I know that emails are legit?  I am afraid that they are scams to get my information by going on  to supply information.  I had checked my credit card just now and no transactions have been posted yet. Thanks!

You can always manually go to http://appleid.apple.com and change your password there, to avoid any links from the emails.
That's the only place you should use to change your Apple Id password.
With that said, do you know if anybody may have used your Apple Id to download things? Like kids to a new computer or tablet?
