Conc request still running

Hi Hussen,
One conc request is still running, it should be in completed in couple minutes.
When i checked it's parent request, it is in Phase:Running Status:Paused state.
Any help?

Please mention the application release along with the database version and OS.
One conc request is still running, it should be in completed in couple minutes. Is this a standard or custom concurrent program? Has this ever worked? If yes, any changes have been done recently?
Please verify that there are no locks in the database from the backend.
When i checked it's parent request, it is in Phase:Running Status:Paused state. This is an expected behavior if the child process is still running.

Hi Expert,
I did extract data for SAP HR Recruitment from source system (SAP R/3) to Cube in BW 7.0, when I ran the InfoPackage, the message always with status "Request still running" (detail message --> missing message: Number of send message) until few hours, no data extracted to PSA.
But the problem only in 0APPLICANT (text and attributes) datasource, no problem found in the others Recruitment datasources.
I've to DataSource replication, delete/re-create infopackage, re-arrange transformation. And I've check source system using RSA3 and Applicant data available in the source system.
I've check using SM50, the process always running but never finish (status always Yellow).
Is there any solution for this problem ?

Have you checked the extraction job in the Source System ...........copy the request number ......go to the source system...........SM37......put *REQXXXXXXX........check whether the Job got completed or not.....
Also , In the IP Monitor screen....in the Menu Bar ---> Settings --> Evaluation of requests (Traffic Lights) --> For the option " If no data is available in the system the request "......you should select "Status Successful".....by default it will be "Status Successful" only...until and unless someone change it manually....
Also check for short dump and TRFC..........in both source system and data ware house.........in the Menu Bar --> Environment.......there you will get all the options....
To check the Short Dumps.........you have search for the Request Number.....if it is there it means load went to short dump........
If TRFCs are stucj press F6 to push it........
After that also if it doesn't progress....it means it went to dump.....then change the stsus to red manually and repeat the load......

Request still running no idocs are arrived into BI

Hi Experts,
I'm working on EHP1[BI 7.01] and trying to load the data from R/3 system with generic data source. The records are updated in PSA[data source] and which is showing "12:25:21 ( 15 From 0 Records ) " and with yellow status with the below information.
Request still running
Diagnosis
No errors found. The current process has probably not finished yet.
System Response
The ALE inbox of BI is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system
or
the maximum wait time for this request has not yet been exceeded
or
the background job has not yet finished in the source system.
Current status
No Idocs arrived from the source system.
I checked different threads relating to this issue with different solutions like checking WE20, BD87, tRFC etc., but still i'm unable to resolve this.
This is very urgent issue could anyone please help me in resolving this issue..

I mean.. Once u press Source system.. it will ask u for the ID and PWD.. once u give that.. it will ask for the data range .. by default it will be todays date as ur has started today only.... and then execute...
it will take u to SM58 screen.. there u just see the status of the different IDOC entries... if u can see the Executed as status then u can press F6 to push it to BW..
If u see the status as Executing then u need to wait as the operation is still running....
.. In practive if u feel that this load is taking long time compared to the actual.. then u can go ahead with the the repeat of the load by killing the present load in the source system.. and removing the bad req from the ur target..

Request status is in Red, where as message is "Request still running"

In my production system, one data load showing red as status,while in status tab tab it is giving message that request is still running.

Hi,
It might have occure because of Time out.Your Bw system is still searching for the request while the request already got loaded virtually.
Just try to do a repeat if possible.

Hi Ravi,
Please check with the Tcode -SM37 whether your job is complete or not.
If Your job is not complete then you are unable to see the data .
If your job is complete and request is still running then kindly check the log of the you job in sm37 only from that you can come to the detail that why the status is green and the request is still running.

CCA9 DELTA STILL RUNNING

Hi Gurus,
we are loading cca9 delta on daily basis. Today delta is giving problem like.
data has came to PSA, DATA selection has been ended at R/3.
STATUS :request still running.
Current status
The processing of the data was not finished.
in extraction tap record sent still it is in yellow.
process data in update rules.
we change the QM STATUS 'RED' trying to load from PSA Again it is not allowing.
Could you please some one help me on this.
we have to provide the data to users at any cost.

There is a issue with one datasoucre as it is not retreiving the data from R/3
Request still running (0 From 0 Records)

Hello Pavan,
I think there is a problem in your load. I think you should cancel the load right now. And delete the red request.
After that you can make another load. I am quite optimistic that it will take all the delta records.
In anycase the system will prompt you whether or not your delta will be lost or not so you can act accordingly.
Kindly please do post back if the queestion sitll hangs.

Not showing part of a site,having flash10.1.1 on MAC and download request from firefox to fix troubles,impossible,after 20 minutes is still running!!

I suggest that you look at this line in particular:
TRUNC(((fcr.actual_completion_date-fcr.actual_start_date)/(1/30))*6) > NVL('&days',5)and consider whether it is asking the question that you want it to ask.
Furthermore, it looks like you are expecting to get time in minute from the following line, and this definitely does not return minutes:
TRUNC(((fcr.actual_completion_date-fcr.actual_start_date)/(1/24))*60) I recommend finding one or two IDs for concurrent requests that you know are running for a long time, comparing the start and end times, testing that information against the output of the above functions, and adjusting your query accordingly.

Active Users Request is still running for hours in Release 12

Today I have installed the Release 12 in the Red Hat AS 4.0. Installation was successfull.
All the Concurrent Managers are up and running.
I have run some requests in the Paybles, Receivable..
Requests are running for hours..all are standard reports...
even
Active Users Request is running for hours..there is no end...
Friends...
How to trouble shoot it???????????

Ans: Yes This is a fresh installation...After InstallationAll concurrent Managers are up and running...
Was this working properly before? If so, what modifications have you done?
Ans: As this is a fresh installation. This is first time to run the requests. After installation, when i run the requests, I got error like libmawt.so is not opened. I have given libmawt.so file path in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. After setting libmawt.so in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. this time I did not before error. but request is running for hours..there is no end.
Have you tried to recover the CM from OAM?
Ans: ya, I tried, but not helpful.
Tracing should be helpful, did you try to run CM Diagnostics test?
If you shutdown the CM and submit the request, what do you get?
Ans: I got status as Inactive and no manager

Conc request taking very very long time

E-Biz Version: 11.5.10.2
I have a conc request running for around 5 hours, and still it is running. Earlier it never use to take so much of time.
Using Toad I traced the request id, which statement is it running, and the output is..
BEGIN
fnd_cp_opp_req.postprocess (:reqid, :groupid, :flag, :errmsg);
END;
no locks in the database, neither any blocking sessions.
No errors in : $APPLCSF/$APPLLOG/FNDOPP* logfile.\

Do you have the statistics collected up to date?
Have you enabled trace and generate the TKPROF file then submitted the request again? If not, then please do and check then (tracing an already running concurrent request would not give much details).

U hav checked the extraction job?................it is in released state..................right......
Hav u checked the RFC connection(SM59).............is it ok........
If still it is released state..............as already mentioned.................load at this time in ur system is huge................due to this there are no free work process...............u can try to change the server and then run the load....................Go to SM66...........there check which servers are showing in Waiting state............that means loads are not much in those servers..................then go to SM51.............double click on the desired server...............then in the top where we write tcode.........there write /n........................a new session will open...................now u r in the new server..........here again execute the load.....................it may progress here............but be careful.............since already one job is in schedule state.............after some time it may become active...........at that time u hav to cancel the job.................otherwise load will fail due to lock issue................

i made a m-bdoc to transfer a record from BUT000 R/3 to BUT000 CRM;
i found the new record on BUT000CRM, and the transaction SMW01 says that the process is ok,
but on the transaction R3AM1 i read that the bdoc is still running...from yesterday....
can anybody help me??

What you need is not a delta load, but only a complete re-load of the whole customer data of which the adress is an important part of it. You might want to have a look at the request functionality which downloads BP data (adress / adrc table included) and other objects as you configure it. It can be found right next to the definition and download of standard (initial or synchronizing) downloads.

Let us know what is the technical status in the monitor screen for upload?
(the one status below the QM status). If it shows processing...then wait till you get some error.
<u>Other options:</u>
check the job log in SM37 for the running upload.
If the job has finished check at what stage the load is running.
Check if source system is working fine.
