Concatanation of values in ITS Template

Hi,
I have an requirement where I want to capture all the data of internal table in
single field.I am getting all the fields of table in ITS template but unable to concate them in single field .I am using SRM 5.0 and using following code .

Where text_mul-TXTTDNAM is internal table,here the last value is overwriting in varible RANG_TD .I need the concate all values of internal table in variable RANG_TD .

I have not tried this yet. But You can try this ->
You can use local variable and try to store the data inside it.
You can specify array offset in this case.
say first 5 characters are having any value use 0(5)
then for next 3 characters use +6(3) [Add one balnk space in between].

from ITS template how are you calling/passing parameter to BSP
thru a form submit? or are you just openning the BSP thru a url link, in either case
you could pass the data as a form field (post) or in the url of the BSP (GET)
for example if the form field name in ITS template is myformfiled and you are submitting that to the BSP page then in the corresponding bsp page declare a page attribute withe same name (myformfiled) and mark the auto check box.
now the value passed from ITS template will be available within BSP in the ABAP variable myformfiled which you can use the way you want.

How to create a PDF with substituted key-value and table-values using a template language

I have about 50 key-values and 10 table-values that I want to substitute into a formatted report template (language can be anything standard, would create a small number of these templates) and then use an Adobe tool to substitute the values into the template and produce a PDF. Preferably the template language would permit some basic conditional logic (if <key #> has value <value> then <show key label here> and <key value here> in close spatial proximity on the form) and permit embedding of a static graphic logo, text with fonts/styles, etc. to produce a polished report but also handle pagination (e.g. enable page breaks or numbering) to be handled automatically.
What is a recommended template language and product to accomplish this?

Are you thinking of something like a blank form that you can enter information into, save, and send to another user? If so, what you want is possible. If you want more information, post again and include more details about how you want to use it and how the recipient will use it.

Issue with filtering values in Web Template

I am facing a problem with filtering values in Web Template.
I have two queries based on two different data providers. One query is getting data from an Info set and the other from a Remote Cube. I have a single navigational block to filter values for both these queries but the change gets reflected only on the variable of one query. The other reflects no change and shows all the values irrespective of the filter condition.
I have tried the option of setting in the properties of the navigational block, affected data providers as both your data providers.But no effect.
Can a single navigational block be used to filter values on 2 queries which are built on different data providers? If yes, can someone please tell me how it is possible?
Kindly let me know how can I make the changes appear in both the queries?I am using SAP BI 3.5.

List Box in ITS template and use of 'FIELD_SET'

Hello EveryOne,
I am working in SRM5.0. Can some one guide me, If we can create a List box in custom ITS template. I am trying to use SELECT statement on HTML to create LIst Box. Is this right way to do that?
Does any one know better way to create a List BOx connected to custom field, that is filled in PAI. We do not have a search help added to this field. So I can not use F4 modules.
Also does any one know If use of macros 'FIELD_SET' is still allowed in the PBO/PAI ?

first you have do build up an steploop on your dynpro for the it_ccode-bukrs

endmodule.
You only see via DIAG Dialog the displayed rows on the Dynpro.
So if you only have a steploop of 4 rows -- you only get 4 rows to the wgate.
Better use the field-set makro.
AT PBO
module rfc_fieldset_ccode.
INCLUDE PBO
module rfc_fieldset_ccode.
data: ls_ccode like line of it_ccode.
data: i type i.
I'll use deeper structure
perform rfc_fieldset_ccode.
but you also can define the code here
loop at it_ccode into ls_ccode.
     add 1 to i.
     field-set 'INDX'       i i .
     field-set 'BUKRS'   i   ls_ccode-bukrs .

Why to do this? The field-set makro (don't forget to include AVWRTCXM at your topinclude) will send the data from internal table via AGATE to the WGATE.

Yes i have declared my variable at main template but if i do the same declaration at subtemplates, then report not generating. So that i am thinking better to capture that value in variable from the main template then to sub templates.

Getting the UPDATEd value and its primary key

I have two procedures, proc1 and proc2.
In proc1 there is an update happening like

Rookie Question: Swap values? Declare an array and values of its indices?

I hope this is the right forum: I have a simple Java Problem but i do not get it.
Is like that: I have to swap values within an array e.g i have one array with 3 indices. Indice 0 (the first indice) has value 12. The middle indice has no value, and the second indice has value 9. How to swap 9 to 12 and 12 to 9 without direct swap, in other words, by using the middle indice that has no value or is zero? And how do i write it in an array?
My other questions: How do i Declare an array and values of its indices?
I hope this is the right forum or site at all, in cas enot, i hope you still can help or give me links that could help. I really need this.

     array[2]=array[0]-array[2]; // array[2] will have 9, because 21-12.
     array[0]=array0]-array[2]; // array[0] will have 12, because 21-9.

Peoplecode to get dropdownlist box value and its description

I have assigned a value and its description to dropdownlist box. when try to get the value and description in somewhere, i didn't get the description. i got only the value of the current row in a rowset. but i want to fetch the description which i assigned to the dropdownlist for the corresponding value. Is there any way to get the description?

Since it is not a XLAT bound to the field, you cannot use the field class properties.
What is the source of the dropdownlist?
If it comes from a database record, you could fetch the description from the database using the &Field.Value as input.
But this would cause a lot of database roundtrips.
You could store the value and description in a two dimensional component array variable and load this array with the values and descriptions at PostBuild Event.
This will only fires ones during the component build.
Suppose the values are "hardcoded", something like this

Whenever you need to fetch the description of the dropdownlist value, first find the value by &Field.Value and then search within the array for the description.

&Descr = &DropdownArray [&Ind][2];

But my AUSP table dont have all material numbers which i need to give the condition ausp-OBJNUM = mara-matnr and my mara-atinn filed also blank to fetch the values directly.
But the CABN,CAWN,CAWNT holds the data

Hi,
You need to search the object number in INOB(Link between Internal Number and Object) table first then you will get the record from AUSP.
In INOB you can put the material number in objek field
sample attached

Passing Dynamic Filter values to Web template in VC

Iam working with a Web Template (which is created using WAD) in Visual Composer Model
I have an input screen ( Variables Form )in VC Iview which has Fiscal Year, Quarter, week and other input fields which need to be entered by a user.
This variables are passed to a couple of queires. Also i have a requirement to pass the same vvariable values to Web template also ( WAD)
I have created a HTML iview in VC Dashboard.and in URL i gave the below URL which is working fine

But i wanted the template to be executed with filter values also
in the actual template i have 4 filters which user needs to enter after the above URL is displayed..
In order to make the template execution dynamic i added the following URL which is not working:

Retain variable values across web templates during a web session

Hi all,
How can we let web template get variable values from another template's variable values so as to keep the same entry values as previous report run?
For example 0vendor has a variable (for single, mandory) used in all vendor related web templates. "vendor1" was entered for the second template.
I tried to use "SET/GET PARAMETER" in variable user exit. It works in BI with RSRT, but it doesn't work with Bex or Web template. Looks like web session is not sync with the ABAP stack.
How about using cookie? How to create/reset cookie in variable user exit? Can we get variable values from web server memory or user session data?

Hi Arun,
All the web templates are randomly run by user, there are no set of templates run after one template. Any templates can run after any other web template.
Basically we link web templates with portal menu items. any report can be run by any sequence. The thing the new report need to take the previous selection values from common variables.

Setting Default or Derived value for watermark template

I want to set default value for watermark template id. The condition is like if dUser(Logged in user) is "a", then default value of template should be "1". I have created template in pdfwatermark administrator with contentid of template as "1".

There is no such option of default scrap value in IMG. You will have to put that amount in asset master.
If the data quantum is high then better to write LSMW or CATT
