Concept of Infotype Framework and CCURE:PC_UI switch

I'm not using concurrent employment, management of global employee and payroll for global employees. We are using HCM Processes and Forms, and wonder if I should turn on the switch (in T77S0) CCURE:PC_UI. When I turned on or off, I noticed it still executes the new BADI implementation (eg BADI HRPAD00INFTYBL). Similarly, when I set the Permissibility to "Permitted in all circumstances" in the "Assign Check Class and Define Permissibility", the PA30 transaction still accesses the old exits /BADI (e.g. HRPAD00INFTY) along with the new BADI (eg BADI HRPAD00INFTYBL) regardless of the value of CCURE:PC_UI.
1. I find the observation strange. Can someone advice on the significance of this switch, and explain my observation above ?
2. Do I also need to run the reports RPUFACECPRFN, RPUFACEVIEKN and RPUFIXDS as stated in SAP Note 783499 ?

We faced some issue what u r facing .
Please following step I will definitely resolve your issue.
For this we need to run the Report RPUFIXDS,
Go to T-Code se38, then give "RPUFIXDS" and then execute .
Then in the selection screen give the perner no.
And info type 0009.
Click up on check box "Workflow Active , Distribution (ALE) Active , Dialog Run .
1st click upon Test Run and then Run.
It will show the inconsistency and then again execute , after this come back to selection give same things but now donu2019t click up on TEST Run and then Execute .

Switch in table T77S0 called "CCURE PC_UI"

There is an entry in table T77S0 called "CCURE PC_UI", which is the PC UI Main switch.
We currently do NOT have this switch turned "on" (so, the value in the table is blank and not "X"). However, we are now 2 years after go-live, and realize that this switch should have been turned on, because we are using both PA30 and ESS to maintain certain master data, such as bank details (IT0009). Without the switch on, the column called "grouping value" in PA0009 is blank for any records added by PA30 - this causes a hard error in ESS. Anyone familiar with this switch knows that if we turn it on, then the grouping value will get populated correctly and ESS will work.
Has anyone ever set this switch to "X" after go-live? What were the consequences?

The only things to do concern the note 783499:
- set the switch CCURE/PC_UI in the table T77S0 to 'X'
- correct the feature IVWID
- execute the report RPUFACEVIEKN
- execute the report RPUFIXDS
The report RPUFACEVIEKN will only align the field VIEKN according to
the feature IVWID. This won't trigger any retroactivity and this is
only a technical change.
For records created before the indicator was set, the repairing
report RPUFIXDS (the third one) has to be executed.

PC_UI Switch in T77S0 Table and T582G

Hello All,
I know there are many threads on this topic, but the answer I am looking for was not in any of the threads. This is a very specific question:
We see that with this Grouping Value issue, we get an error on the iView something like "Grouping expected to be '10' whereas found....".
So is the solution to this issue, that you activate PC_UI switch in T77S0 table and run the RPUFIXDS report for existing master data? The gouping reasons are picked from the T582G table, so does this mean that activating the switch is good enough without having to run the RPUFIXDS report? The switch will take care of new records, but will it also take care of existing records?
We have not implemented CE, so do we really need this Grouping? The issue mainly is we have lots of employees with 2 PERNRS and we dont want our Master Data to get deleted because of running the RPUFIXDS report. Can we get around to have the ESS working without having to run this report? Will activating the switch but taking off the groupings in T582G solve this?
The bottomline is we want the ESS to work without the Grouping Value error, while at the same time not running the RPUFIXDS report (since we have lot of employees with more than 1 PERNRs linked via CP, which will get deleted because of this report)
Please let me know if I need to make myself more clear, and please help me understand this issue?

Hi Nakul,
For this issue, two notes are relevant: [783499|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/783499] y [845592|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/845592].
A set of actions are proposed to solve it, but that depends on your system config. So, i advise you read both notes carefully.
E.g. the CCURE PC_UI indicator is required for Concurrent Employment environments, but not for non-CE environments. Instead of that, check the reports mentioned in note 783499 (RPUFACECPRFN, RPUFACEVIEKN and RPUFIXDS), plus IVWID feature.
Also, in Master data side, for non-CE the UGR and MOL parameters should match with the country assignment of personnel area of the user.

DIF Time infotypes: Availability of time infotypes in the decoupled infotype framework

Hi (fellow) experts,
My primary and most wondered question:
Does anyone out there has an idea on SAP schedule to release compatibility fix for time infotype (constraint Z) in the decoupled infotype framework?
Many of us lately talk about and use the decoupled infotype framework; I see many clients interested in HR-Renewal PAOM attractive interface but when question turns around time data I tend to change subjects)... HR Renewal 2.0 has awesome new features such as the Payroll Control Center and the possibility for dynamic action but still no access to time infotypes... Tricky to manipulate infotype 2010, 0416 data without accessing the backend system to correct payroll data... I don't even start on 2001 absence infotype..., etc...
I also have some question on the SAP official working model for certain PA infotype that update in background time data (e.g. 0080 for instance).
There are some country specific infotypes that bothers me a little bit because I don't understand the SAP working model behind it; it's about french infotype Work stopped (0424) which is a data entry screen for work incapacity derived from illness or accident at work that update infotype 2001 in the background.
Now if I take a detailed look at the decoupled class CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_0424 method SPECIFIC_INSERT_COMPUTATIONS for instance I can see how the specific logic to create infotype 2001 is nicely commented out in the code while in the backend both those infotype are completely integrated.
So what am I to understand: class is actively decoupled and I can use it but I will never have the same functionality that I have in the backend system? or is something else? same question apply to infotype 0080 under not only the french template, but UK, Spain... etc... , in the french version it updates both infotype 0424 and 2001 in the backend but I don't see nothing of the sort in the DIF even though there is an active specif FR convertion class (does not seems to be in working order and no infotype 0424 update anywhere nor of course 2001)...
Let me be clear: I think the DIF initiative is a great innovation from SAP; very easy to understand, manipulate and so much more versatile. It would be awesome if everything would be ready to use ... very powerful tool.

Well well sounds like some effort in decoupling time infotype development has been released into EHP8.
At least I am able to see development class and FPM configurations for infotypes 2001, 2006, 3355... so even if not everything is ready I can now see things are well on the way!

One in employee leven and 2nd in position level, but the concept is same i think,

There is no difference.
The system reads cost data by following path:
1. read IT 0027
2. if not found in IT 0027, read IT 1018
3. if not fount in IT 1018, read IT 0001
So, yes it is possible to overwrite IT 1018 via IT 0027.

[SOLVED] pulsuadio and blutooth auto switch to connected device?

Is there a way to stream audiochannels automatically to a bluetooth speaker when it is connected?
At the moment I have to change manually in pavucontrol Playback section. Otherwise sound is still played via internal speakers..

The bluetooth speaker is a Denon Envaya mini, connected in A2DP mode.
The whole setup is not working realy stable at the moment, sometimes the device is connecting just fine and I see it in pulseaudio, sometimes it doesn't and bluetooth is crashing when trying to connect. Same is true for trying with bluetoothctl, so I guess it's not a plasma problem.. I also tried gut versions for most of the packages (at least for pulseaudio, libbluedevil-frameworks and bluedevil-frameworks).
Anyway. even when connecting is successfull, I still have to set the audiostream manually to the speaker with pavucontrol.
I tried to load pulsaudio module-switch-on-connect in default.pa but didn't see a difference.. I'm guessing this should only autoconnect the speaker when present, but what I'd like to do is to automaticly stream audio to the speaker when connected, not to the internal laptop speaker..

Create employee with detached infotype framework

Hello,
I'm desperately trying to create a new employee with the decoupled infotype framework, without success.
I try to save IT0000 and IT0003 (as secondary record) at first, but when I call the 'if_hrpa_masterdata_bl~get_infty_container' method, a 'cx_hrpa_missing_infty_data' exception is raised because the framework can not find any IT0003 record for the new employee (of course, since I'm trying to create it!).
So I can't do any insert since I can't get any container...

Create IT2013 entry with the decoupled infotype framework

Hello,
I tried to create an IT2013 (Quota corrections) entry with the new decoupled infotype framework but I didn't success.
I first tried by using if_hrpa_masterdata_bl->get_infty_container to get a container (and then change it and save it) but I get an error because the time constraint for IT2013 is set to 'Z' and the framework don't handle it.
So I guess this is because if_hrpa_masterdata_bl and other related classes/interface can only be used for PA and not for Time.
Therefore I tried to find Time infotypes dedicated classes and I found some.
The most interessant one is CL_PT_BLP_IT2013. It looked perfect, with everything I needed, but it doesn't work: when CL_PT_BLP_IT2013->IF_HRPT_BLP_INFOTYPE~GET_INFTY_CONTAINER is called, it tries to create an instance of CL_HRPT_INFTY_TIME_CONTAINER but raises an exception. Not surprising because the only non-commented line its constructor executes is:
METHOD constructor.
RAISE EXCEPTION TYPE cx_hrpa_violated_assertion.
* if_hrpa_infty_container~a_tclas = 'A'.
* if_hrpa_infty_container~a_pskey = pskey.
* if_hrpa_infty_container~a_infotype_logic = infotype_logic.
ENDMETHOD.
Moreover, the description of the class CL_HRPT_INFTY_TIME_CONTAINER is: "DO NOT USE! HR: Time Data Container", so it's not suprising at all it doesn't work.
I found some other Time infotypes related classes like CL_PT_BLP_INFOTYPE or CL_PT_TD_INFOTYPE but I couldn't figure out how to create a new IT2013 entry with those ones.
At the end of the day, I couldn't find any way to create a new IT2013 entry using the decoupled infotype framework.
Can someone please help?

Hi,
The time infotypes 2XXX are not yet decoupled as per the standard infotype framework. Hence there are no decoupled classes delivered in standard.

Dynamic VLAN assignment and Layer 3 switching on 300 series

I have a SG300-28P switch. I just read in the Administration Guide that, when in Layer 3 mode, the switch doesn't support MAC-based VLAN or Dynamic VLAN Assignment.
So, in order to assign a client to a VLAN based on their MAC or based on the response of a RADIUS server, we have to disable layer 3 features. Without layer 3 switching, the switch is unable to act as a default gateway and forward packets between VLANs. As a result, the VLANs can't communicate in any way, or access the internet, unless a separate router is connected to every VLAN. Right?
I'm new to VLAN configuration and layer 3 switching so I wanted to check my understanding. Doesn't this limitation significantly reduce the usefulness of the DVA feature?
I may well be confused and missing something regarding how this is typically used..

Your concept about packet forwarding is correct. With a layer 2 switch, there must be something directing traffic with multiple subnets for intervlan communication or something that provides an IP route to give the request a path back for the request.
The usefulness for the DVA feature, is not particularly limited to the switch as the switch will correctly assign the VLAN for you, as VS the L3 switch mode, you're dealing with IP addresses. In any scenario, you're going to require a router to get to the internet since the switch does not support NAT.
Additionally, if you're router does not support VLAN, the L3 switch feature would still be the solution since you should be able to make a static route pointing back to the switch to allow any subnet to traverse the single media. It would still beg the question, how to assign VLAN dynamically.
The answer, although (in my opinion is terrible) would be GVRP. But, this application would require ALL of your network cards to be GVRP Enable / Capable which most likely is not the scenario for you (or most anyone else for that matter).

Meshing a 9216 and a McData Switch

I am adding a 9216 to a McData fabric. The current McData switch is softzoned, but I will be working offline so all zoning will be disabled. I read the white paper and the only thing that reallly jumped out was making sure the domain id was in a proper range.
Outside of making sure the domain id is within range ~100. What other issues are there about meshing the two networks? Will I be able to start creating VSANs immediatly or do I need to make further changes. Are there any firmware incompatibility issue (both will be upgraded to the latest revision)? Are there bumps I need to know before I do this outside of what was in the white paper.

Actually, the domain IDs for the vsan that is in interop4 mode should be in the 1-31 range and not conflicting with the MCDatas. Zoning must be done by domain,port or PWWN. Here are some concepts.
* The SWWN of the Cisco switch's vsan must be modified to include the McData OUI
* The domain ID's that exist in the fabric (McData & Cisco) must be in the range of 1-31
* The FCID's will actually be in the 96-127 range. This is because the domain ID's are seen as 1-31 but actually have a base of 96. So, the domain ID is really 96+domain_ID but seen as just domain
* FC4 features are not distributed
* PWWN and/or domain,port based zoning is supported
* Default zoning policy changes are distributed
* If the mode4 VSAN is in the IVR topology, then the virtual domains will be in the range of 96-127
Suspend the vsan and configure the OUI to be in the 08:00:88.

Whether there are FM or class for dismissal(fire) and repeated acceptance for work constructed for work using on decoupled infotype framework?
As works (on hire) FM 'HR_PAD_HIRE_EMPLOYEE' I understood. Possibly somebody has examples on dismissal and the repeated device?

HT3053 I have a 13inch MacBook Pro and when I switch it on the apple logo appears then a slot and the circular symbol which is turning and then before opening the home screen it switches off again. Is there a sequence that I can use to force it to load.

I have got a 13 inch MacBook Pro and it got stuck in a loop so I switched it off by holding the power button down and now when I switch it on the apple logo appears then I get a blank slot at the bottom of the screen then the circle appears and rotates and then it switches off again, I have tried starting it again with the system disc that came with it when it was new but it makes no difference. Is there a sequence that I can use to force it to start.

Take it to whoever replaced the screen and see if they can help you.
iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked.

If you purchased it from Apple within the last 14 days then you can return it for a full refund. otherwise no. If you purchased it elsewhere you have to check with them.

Calendar first and second alerts switch on their own

Hi, I've been having this problem for a while with my iPhone 4, wondering if anyone can help.
I've tried looking if there's already a thread for this issue, but couldn't find one -- maybe I'm just not using the correct keywords.
Every time I set my first and second alerts on my calendar appointment and saved them, they seem okay, but 2 minutes later when I go back to the same appointment, the first and second alerts switch on their own, e.g.: I set first alert to go on 2 hours before and second alert to go on 1 hour before the appointment. Save. When I return 2 minutes later, first alert turned to 1 hour before and second alert 2 hours before.
Which is silly, since who needs their second alert to be farther than their actual appointment? Even iphone knows this and cancels the second alert altogether. By the time I've been alerted, I only have an hour to get ready for my next appointment.
Anyone has encoutered this problem and has successfully solved them? I've tried setting my default time zone under setting to local, and even turning off iCloud, to no success.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have found what appears to be a resolution to this issue, when I add an event and I select the event time, the date time scroller opens up allowing me to select the time of the event.
The issue occurs when I leave this selector expanded and continue to set the event properties. When the time selector is still open and you select the alert times, it swaps the alerts every time. When you collapse the event time selectors before choosing the alert times, the alerts are not switched.
This bug appears to be an issue with the scrolling selector form item if there is more than one open it appears to error out.
If you don't know how to collapse the event time selector, once you have selected the time, click on the date/time that is in red text just above it and it will collapse the selector.
Hopefully this fixes the issue for others, and it is ridiculous that this has gone one for so long, not a good way to keep your customers Apple, my wife was so aggravated at this that she was about to cancel her iPhone.
