Concept wise Presentation in SAP..guide for freshers.

Hi Guru,,.
Good evening to all .
I m freshsers in SAP-MM, right now i m working in post implementation site.first they told me give a presentation in SAP-as is (completed). Now they telling to give me a concept wise presentstion in SAP.
first of all what i want to prepare , i m not any idea.. please guide me anybody. In which way i want prepare all the things in SAP-MM.
And also please tell me how can i learn more in post implementation site. what are all the things are there in post implementation site to learn as a SAP freshers.

Please refer to First Thread in this forum NEW TO SAP MM
Post implementation you first refer to Business Blueprint documentation
From which you will come to know what are the things which are implemented
there,what are the business processes and all
Then check the config docs and also Z programs etc

Is SAP XI for freshers or not ?

Hi,
I am Abhilash,presently pursuing Master's in Computer Science, and interested to learn SAP XI.But i do not have any experience in IT field, and i do not have knowledge about .net and Java technolgies.I'm a bit confused whether i have to go for SAP XI or not ?
Secondly, which module in SAP is rewarding and best to learn for a fresher.
Lastly, i would like to know some good consultants ( in USA )who train and place freshers.

First let me welcome you to the XI world...........
Well when working with XI our XI system doesnot know who is a fresher or who is experienced. So you dont worry about that. If you want you can go ahead and learn XI.
To learn XI, if you know the basics of JAVA or ABAP or XML that would be an added advantage.
Since you are a fresher my suggestion would be learn ABAP also along with XI.
Regarding the best consultants in US there are so many. Kindly check with your friends or in the internet.

Can a new graduate from college enter into SAP MM without working on the real function just by learning the Business Process ... This message may help other freshers who are studying and getting trained in SAP ...
2.If they have a initial Business Process training in MM functions before they work on MM application will it help them.

It is good to have some functional expereince/training before coming to MM. Atleast min 6 months experience should be there for a person to get into SAP for any Fuctional module.
Otherwise initial Business process training also help you to become SAP FunctionalConsultant.

OBIEE 11g Refresh GUIDs for Presentation Services

Hi Friends,
I am facing problem while trying to refresh the GUIDs for the Presentation services during migration from DEV to QA
When I migrated RPD and Catalog from DEV to QA, the user weblogic was not able to login. So I modified the NQSConfig.INI file to make the below change
FMW_UPDATE_ROLE_AND_USER_REF_GUIDS = YES*
and restarted the BI Servers. Now weblogic is able to login. So far good.
But When I login using weblogic and open 'My Dashboard' I get the following error access denied for user to path /users/weblogic/_portal/dashboard layout*
Reading the Oracle Documentation I see that the refresh of GUIDs need to be done for Presentation services as well. http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/bi.1111/e10543/privileges.htm#CHDHGAAH
However I am not able to find *<ps:Catalog>* in the Instanceconfig.xml file. I can only see a similar one like below

Where should I add the below? I went ahead and put it just below the above. So that my file looks like below. Is this correct?

After saving the instanceconfig.xml , I used opmnctl to stop the Pre.Ser. Stop was successful But I am not able to start the ps. Why is that? Is it a problem with my new entry in Instanceconfig.xml?
Checking the log files, clearly says its the content of instanceconfig.xml causing the issue.

i hope u r version You don't need the ps: part either
If your using obiee11.1.1.3. the instansconfig.xml file it will show like this (ps: part either ) and obiee11.1.1.5. no more that ps: part in the instanceconfig.xml file
*<UpgradeAndExit>false<UpgradeAndExit>*
*<UpdateAccountGUIDs>UpdateAndExit<UpdateAccountGUIDs>*
then
set it to *<UpdateAccountGUIDs>none</UpdateAccountGUIDs>* and then restart the services
Refer obiee11.1.1.3.0 version of guide...all r similar except ps: part.

Sap script for Delivery(item wise)

Dear ABAPer's ,
I am working on a SAP Script for Delivery(<b>Item wise</b>).The requirement is I need a print out for each line item in a delivery.I am using tcode VL71 for taking prinout.
I have modified the routine <b>RVADDN01</b> according to my requirements.But the problem is i am not able to capture
which line item is selected.Whichever lineitem i select it is giving the details of all the line items.
Am I using the correct routine or someother routine is available for item wise details.
Please clarify.

u have selected right one , Just Debug the script from which text Element u are getting the data into Form, then check ur Logic.

I think that you have had the answer to your question. I am trying to get people to keep the forum tidy. If you have what you require could you award you points if you want to and mark your question as answered.

Installation Guide for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 2.0.5

Hi,
The Sneak Preview Download of SAP NetWeaver on this site also contains the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 2.0.5
I am trying to install this version. However, the installation guide provided alongwith this setup refers to the version 2.0.4
I checked on SAP Service Marketplace too. It seems that even SAP has not issued anything for this version.
Any ideas where I can get the relevant installation guide for v2.0.5?

Hello Sagar,
the Installation Guide for the Developer Studio is included in the "How To Install EP 6.0 SP 4 Sneak Preview Edition". But you have only to extract the ZIP File and start the JDTsetup.exe.
