I was able to place an order for the new 3DS XL MM Edition via bestbuy.com. My order shows processing so all seems well. My question is in regards to when this will ship? I usually use amazon.com for online preorders as they are shipped so that they arrive on release day. Is this the same with bestbuy.com? If not, would it be possible to switch to in-store pickup so that I can get the item on release day? Thanks.

New Nintendo 3ds xl + Majoras Mask 3d (Order Status says cancelled)

Hi, I pre ordered the New Nintendo 3ds xl + Majoras Mask 3d. I got an email saying my order was recieved and Best
Buy would send me tracking information on the products. However, when I check my order status it reads cancelled for both products.
I didn't get an email saying it was cancelled or anything. So why is my order saying canceled? I hope it's not, because that would be dissapointing.
I also ordered this internationally don't know if that has anything to do with the status of the products?

NEW NINTENDO 3DS XL not available for Store Pickup?

I was looking at the new NEW Nintendo 3DS XLs being released soon but noticed that shipping was the only option on the website and not store pick up. Will this change once it gets closer to release or is shipping the only option now?

I’m sure you are anxious to start playing the new 3DS XL, it looks like it has some pretty cool new features.
Best Buy always strives to ship pre-orders to arrive as close to release date as possible, but that can be affected by vendor agreements or shipping concerns (such as weather). You arrival date generally depends on what shipping method you choose for your order; for example, Standard shipping generally takes 3-5 business days to arrive, so it is very unlikely that you would receive your order on release day if you chose this shipping method.
Generally the best way to make sure that you get your product as close to release date as possible is to choose in-store pickup (when available) or Express shipping. You can find more information on our Shipping Costs & Timing here.

Nintendo 3DS not connecting during online games to Macbook Pro or Airport Express Network. Please Help.

I would love to post this question to the Nintendo Support forums, but I'm abroad right now and it seems I am denied from the forums if I try to log in.
My Nintendo 3DS's internet features all work perfectly fine except when it comes down to directly playing a match with other users. For example, Mario Kart 7 will download Spot pass data like normal every day, but everytime I tray to play a match online, the software gives me an error. Same thing when I try to connect with people on Animal Crossing: New Leaf. My previous linksys router back in the states worked fine. The security was WEP I remember. Now I've got myself an Airport express and neither it nor my Macbook Pro (when sharing is turned on) will permit me direct online access to other users like I stated above. I even disabled security and went with an open network for a few minutes and was faced with the same exact problem.
I know this is very specific and mainly involves a none apple product, but I'm just curious what is different about the Apple wireless networks I'm setting up that is preventing me from nothing but direct realtime interactions with other users.
Any advice or knowledge about Apple security or wireless networks would really help me out. There are only so many settings I can tweak in the Airport Express so I'm sure it can't be too difficult, but I don't even know where to start.

I guess it's a problem with NAT (Network Address Translation). My ISP is Vectant Ltd. so maybe I should get a hold of them. If anyone has any work arounds that maybe they used with other game consoles (Xbox Live, PSN), I could really use the suggestion. I really like the Airport express and assumed it would be compatible, but I guess not.

I have a 3DS and a Wii U. I play them all the time and I am what you would most likely call a Nintendroid. If I know nintendo at all, they are most likely never going to put skype on any of their consoles in the near future- that would lead to MICROSOFT getting popular with skype, and seeing as Microsoft own Xbox, nintendo can't have that. By the way, that's probably the reason we won't vbe seeing any Minecraft OR Halo coming to our nintendo screens anytime soon.

Product page is linked above, I have been monitoring this title for quite some time. I've seen the placeholder release date pushed back multiple times. However the official release date was announced to be 3/31/2015, and the product page lists 4/7/2015?
Theres understandably some confusion. Now I had planned to pick up a copy of this for my Niece as well for her birthday, which is coincedently 3/31. So when is this actually releasing with Best Buy? If I have to cancel one of my preorders to get my Niece's copy in time for her Birthday, I need to know now.

Nintendo 3DS connects to N Network despite it bein...

I don't know but I kind of want an explanation here. So my BT Home Hub 3 is set to "N 40Mhz" The hub did tell me that devices which are b/g will not connect to an N network, however my 3DS does and it only supports B/G. Other people on the internet say that their 3DS does not work with other routers which are only N. Does anyone have an explanation?
EDIT: So with the HH4 there is this 5GHZ band option. I am seeing if any of my devices support it. Most of my devices support N but I am not sure on 5ghz. I have searched on the internet for 5ghz compatibilty but I can't find anything. So if anyone could be helpful could they find out?

No easy way of checking if its 5GHz compatable best way is to google the card but it normally comes down to price. An expensive card will be dual 5 and 2.4GHz most cards are 2.4 GHz only. You wont find anything with just the name you have given. You will need to find the model number and for that you are probably going to have to pull the card out of the machine. Here is a list of the broadcom parts for wifi. If you can find out the controller chip version and check against this list.

Can't connect 3DS and android devices to HomeHub 3

Ok, devices that won't connect are:
Nintendo 3DS
Advent Vega Android Tablet
Orange San Francisco Android Phone
My 3DS connected when I first bought it. but now I can't connect to the homehub at all, when I scan for wireless networks, where the Homehub should be, it just shows an empty router, doesn't show the SSID or security type.
With the two android devices, they show the SSID ok, but they don't recognise the security type, they show the network as open (when it actually has WPA2 encryption) - thus it doesn't give me anywhere to put in the passphrase
Anyone else had any trouble with these and know of any fixes?

sometimes interference from other wifi devices around your area can cause this...HH3 is normally on auto search for the best channel on wifi,and pressing the wifi button or reseting can resolve the problem,glad you have sorted it

They literally must have listed them this afternoon, because they weren’t there this morning.
You could check back tomorrow to see if they have updated the console for shipping, but my guess is that they may all be going to the stores and there may not be any available for shipping through BestBuy.com.

3DS XL Free Pokemon X or Y conditions

Hi, I would like to buy the Nintendo 3DS XL with Mario & Luigi: Dream Team for my boyfriend for his birthday. It has an offer that says he can receive a free Pokemon X or Y code if the product is registered between March 1st and March 31st. The first step to receive the code is to buy the 3DS XL, of course, along with a select title. What I would like to know is what Best Buy means by select title. Am I going to be given a list to choose from when I buy it? Is there a list I can see online?

How do you,and can you put firefox on a 3ds

I have a 3ds and I cant watch any videos on youtube or anything so i need to get something that will give me the availability to watch videos please fix asap

Unfortunately, FIrefox does not have a version for the Nintendo 3DS.
My understanding of the browser on the 3DS is that it doesn't support media files like Flash, audio, video, etc. This means, you can't watch videos in the browser. You need to use the apps (Netflix, others) to do this.
