Concert broadcast via skype

Question

Being a neophyte to this medium, I'm looking for advice or the availability of a tutorial on how our music organization can use skype in a public concert. Our plan is to have a series of duets involving one person in our concert facility performing with someone else in a remote location, with the audience in our facility being able to see and hear both performers simultaneously. I understand the problem with real time, but that will not be a factor, since much of the music will be of a soundscape variety. What I am wondering is, how a laptop can be set up to accept an external patch from a soundboard, sound quality, video quality and other factors that may affect the performance, especially with both people playing simultanously. What is the best no muss-no fuss solution to our issues?

I hope this "reply" hits both ya!  The "duets" has been done, requires reharsal of crew.  The band
member playing remote can get weird but is easier than the duets for public viewing.  Think of
the "guest" musician via stalite previuos events.  The band on stage is simply "playing to" the
remote member, who will have to just play the song(s) solo [ignoring listing to delayed band].
  Obvoiusly both situatuions are managed best with seperate comm link(s) via any phone available.
I notice both UR posts are old BUT I thought MSFT would hire me to makethis simple.  I've
been told by long time Skypers that MSFT is taking out features  BIT there is rumored to be
a broadcast grade Skype that I've yet to see.  I don't even have regular Skype.  So best in your
jammin'
