My question is how can I eliminate this error, is necessary run FNDCRM.exe, what does it do.

  • Concurrent manager problem i.e not starting

    Hai everyone ,
    while iam running the concurrent program iam getting the following problem...
    1>No concurrent manager is defined to process this request, so it cannot be processed.
    I have been facing this problem from 1 week,even i have tried to shut down the conurrent manager and up the manager but unable to slove the problem.pls can anyone help me to get rid of the problem and iam unable run the cmclean.sql script file.can anyone tell where to run it..waiting for reply...
    Thanks
    srinivas

    Srini,
    Is this custom concurrent program ?
    If this is standard Oracle Request could you share name of request so that I can check to which manager its assigned to so that you can check if that manager is Up or not .
    Looking at your message it seems this is custom request which is not assigned to any manager & by default it should have been picked up by Standard Manager but their might be some incompatibilities

  • Generating pdf report via concurrent manager and xml publisher

    I have report (rdf) which works fine in eBusiness Suite but I’d like to create translatable reports with reach layout (comparing with the Report Builder) based on the functionalities of the XML publisher. I’ve made all necessary steps (first change the output format for that report in concurrent manager from pdf to xml, submit the report to get xml file, which I’ve used in Microsoft Word Template Builder to make layout in rtf file, and create data and template in XML Publisher Administrator in eBusiness Suite).
    When I’ve submitted that report from concurrent manager, after the concurrent manage finished his job I got the warning message.
    Also the output file is not generated and in log file there is a message: One or more post-processing actions failed. Consult the OPP service log for details.
    Concurrent manager works fine, but there are problem when concurrent manager send the xml output of the report to XML Publisher which have to create pdf layout based on rtf template.
    I think there might be a problem with report complexity, while I’ve used layout formatting, api calls to eBusiness Suite, parameters, placeholders, attached library etc.
    If it is impossible to get new report based on xml publisher template, what is the purpose of xml publisher if it is so limited, while every eBusiness Suite Report is so complex.
    I hope there will be a person on this forum with the same problem, otherwise I’ll give up at all from XML Publisher, at least until it come a better version of that tool which it seems to be in early development phase and not ready for the market yet.

    All of the complex report logic is handled in your Oracle Report (rdf) file.
    If your Oracle report is working OK, then this report should be generating XML.
    After running your report, go to the View Requests window. Highlight your request, and click the Diagnostics button. Then click the 'View XML' button. If you see XML data, then you should be OK.
    When I faced a similar issue, it was because the '1 step' process didnt work for the particular report I was using. The '1 step' process doesn't work for every report. Which report are you using?
    If the report is submitted via a form (not the concurrent manager request form), then you probably need to use 2 steps to produce the desired output.
    For more information, see the following thread:

  • Concurrent Manager Issue in Oracle Apps 11i on MS Windows 2003

    Hi,
    We have Oracle Apps 11i (11.5.10) on Windows 2003 running Oracle Financilas and Supply Chain.
    From this morning onwards, concurrent requests are not getting completed. All requests are showing Running Normally. I checked the server (Single Node 4 GB Memory) and CPU usage is more than 90%. Task Manager is showing 50% CPU usage for SYSTEM (Image Name). Once the CPU usage for SYSTEM(image name) goes beyond 40% then the server is becoming slow and the problem starts.
    When I stop the Concurrent Manager it does not stop and I have to End Process the FNDLIBR process manually.
    I have recreated the concurrent manager using CCMSETUP and also ran cmclean.sql. Nothing is helping.
    System is Live since 2006 and the issue started only today.
    Please suggest any solutions as this is happening in our Production system.
    Thanks.
    Thiru

    Thiru,
    Which concurrent manager consumes the CPU usage? Are you able to identify it?
    Any errors in the CM log file? Did you try to start the CM with diag=y and see if any errors are reported in the log files?
    What happen to the CPU usage when you stop the CM?
    I assume that you are running Purge Concurrent Manager/Requests on regular basis, so this should not be an issue here.
    Please review the following notes, and see if it helps.

  • Running report in concurrent manager using unix shell script to create PDF

    Hi,
    I need help urgently, we are in the process of migrating from 10.7 to 11i. My problem is we have a report created in 10.7 that is ran through concurrent manager using shell scripts(host) and the output is stored as .pdf, in 10.7, it works perfectly. Now I am also doing it in 11i but it gives some error. The shell script from 10.7 is: r25runm module=$XXX_TOP/srw/test.rdf \
    userid=$1 batch=yes \
    desformat=pdf destype=file \
    desname=$XXX_TOP/outbound/test.pdf
    I change the shell script in 11i as follows:
    ar60runb report=$XXX_TOP/reports/US/test.rdf \
    userid=$1 batch=yes \
    desformat=pdf destype=file \
    desname=$XXX_TOP/outbound/test.pdf
    I checked your metalink, and I am confused which is the right executable I should use, is it ar60runb or ar60run or rwrun60b or rwrun60c or rwrun60b, which is which? how many parameters do I have to include?, some documents are saying I have to use the 4 parameters-orauser/pwd, userid,username, request_id, others one.Which parameter/s go/es with what executable. We are using HP-UX server 64 bit. In 11i, when I run in concurrent manager it gives me an error:The executable file /chdev/fd11/u00/fd11appl/xxx/1.0/bin/test for this concurrent program cannot be executed.
    Contact your system administrator or support representative. Verify that the execution path to the executable file is co.
    I have checked Metalink and follow the directions, created a link fndcpesr, check and set the permissions, etc. Play around with the executables ar60runb or rwrun60 etc., the parameters. The ar60* or rwrun60* executable permissions are -rwxr-xr-x and $XXX_TOP/fnd/../fndcpesr is -rwxr-xr-x. Also, why is ar60* executables located in $FND_TOP/bin, whereas rwrun60* executables are in $ORACLE_HOME/bin? Please help, I need an answer urgently ,I have to complete this task before Tuesday 9/16/2003 for our migration deadline. Thank you very much.

    I have already fixed the problem, TY anyway

    The sql now calls a unix shell script as shown below.
              l_request_id := fnd_request.submit_request (
                                            'CFI',                                   'CFIECAPEMLSH',                         NULL,                              NULL,                              FALSE,                              r_error_rec.sender,                          v_recipient,                              v_ccrecipient,                          v_bccrecipient,                          v_subject,                                   v_body,                                   v_attachment
    So here the problem i am facing is that the shell script is not getting called.
    If i keep v_body= 'Test' the shell script is called and program is working fine.
    Is it a problem with CHR(10) or the size limitation of v_body i dont know.
    I tried to keep v_body VARCHAR2(10000).
    Still it did not work.
    Plz help me if u know about this.

    You cannot have varchar2 > 4000.

  • Concurrent managers problem 11.5.9

    I got through the process and reinstalled 11.5.9
    but now I m getting a problem of starting my concurrent manager
    I heard there is a patch for it but that requires me to raise a TAR which I don have access for.
    Can u tell me a workaround on it

    Hi,
    I believe the scripts are helpful. However, you can query FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES tables for details about the CM (refer to eTRM for details about the table/columns).
    eTRM
    http://etrm.oracle.com
    To receive alerts, you can make use if the scripts (or the table), check the status of Concurrent Managers, and integrate this with Oracle Alert.
    11i (11.5.10.2+ virtual) Documentation Library
    http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25516_14/current/html/docset.html
    You may also monitor the CM from the OS (write a shell script to monitor FNDLIB processes, and make it sends an email in case the number of processes is less than the actual running processes (or zero)).
    Sorry, I do not have any script to share as I am using those scripts in the note referenced above.

  • Concurrent Manager not starting after patching/ cloning

    Hi,
    We have an issue where after cloning and/or patching an environment the concurrent manager doesn't start. Our steps to resolve this problem have thus far been as follows:
    1. Apply 3830807
    2. Run autoconfig
    3. Run cmclean.sql on environment
    4. Check the libc* files in 8.0.6 ORACLE_HOME/lib/stubs
    We had an instance after a patch was applied where the conc mgr did not start and we applied all of the above, in that order. No success. We then decided to apply the 3830807 patch again and run autoconfig- basically re- run steps 1 and 2. Success. In another instance, running the cmclean.sql resolved the error. In some instances, simply shutting down the application and DB and restarting will be enough.
    Our problem is that the resolution to this error always seems random. What may work in one instance almost never works in another. Additionally, the problem has started since we've applied ATG RUP 6 to our LIVE environment and our clones. Coincidence?
    We have logged an SR but I feel like we're being spun in circles- I'm not getting a direct answer or resolution path from them.
    If someone could provide some guidance on a proper resolution path for this conc mgr issue I would very much appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    Lia.

    Basically the approach we're now taking (and that's working) is that after applying a patch, or set of patches, we apply patch 3830807 and then run autoconfig on the db and apps tier. We then shut down the application (if not already down) and the database and then bring everything back up.
    Thanks to all for their assistance.
    Lia.

  • No concurrent manager is defined to process this request,so it can't be pro

    Hello Friends
    I am facing a serious problem in my production server. After Stop/Start my application I have to run cmclean.sql to active "Output Post Processing" concurrent manager.
    I have find out that when I down my application FNDLIBR does not down properly. I have put sleep time 10 minutes and I also wait 5 hours to check is it down or not but After 5 hours the process still running. To down the process I have to execute kill -9 <process id>.
    Please see the below Diagnostic message or Shutdown concurrent manger.
    No concurrent manager is defined to process this request, so it cannot be processed.
    Contact your system administrator to define a concurrent manager to process this request or to verify that existing concurrent managers have the correct specialization rules.
    This request may have to wait on one or more of the following requests to complete before it can begin execution:
    Application Version - 12.0.6
    OS - Redhat Linux (x86)
    Thanks
