  • Concurrent manager status inactive every application services restart

    ebs: 11.5.10.2
    os: AIX 5
whenever im restarting application server i mean to take coldbackup or for any workaround
the concurrent manager are down i checked with command ps -ef|grep fndlibr|grep APPLMGR|wc -l it shows only one concuurent manager is running so i have to go for a Conccurent manager recover through OAM then all the conccurent manager are up the same ps -ef|grep fndlibr|grep APPLMGR|wc -l shows 15
while going through Conccurent manager recovery is gives me orphaned Process(which is a schedule request from user--iam unable to cancel the request it says the conccurent manager which was handling this request does not exist) which is supposed to be killed but im unable to kill it at oslevel
when i use kill -9 ospid it says ospid doesnt exist (may be it is ospid of the user system)
can anyone say me why is this happening and lead me to a solution?
shall i go for a cmclean and if yes then tell me what cm clean does...

  • Database objects behind stats on "Concurrent Processing Dashboard" ?

I want to define a new report in oem grid about concurrent processing on a ebs target. i saw that there is some minimal stats in the 'Concurrent Processing Dashboard'. What are the DB tables used to generate this screen ?
By the way there is a bug, all number are displayed like : 2.000000 ....
    Thanks

    Hi,
What if both nodes have all modules active? (host, admin,cm,forms, web) except the database of courseDo you mean to say all application services are up and the database is down? If yes, then there must be something wrong with the dashboard itself (if the database is down, you will not be able to access the application or even access OAM).
    Thanks,

    Hi Bashobi,
    1. Since you can not reproduce the issue from sysadmin responsibility can we say the issue specific to Receivables Manager
    responsibility<INV xml report>?
    2. You said before: "Concurrent process for XML Publisher fails with warning. Cannot see Diagnostics
--> XML output completely. Only first page visible. Buttons and Menu items
disabled not allowing to view the whole XML file to troubleshoot for
    correct/incorrect tags.":
    Is the above mean :
-The xml publisher report completed but you can not view the whole XML file
-Or the xml publisher report error out with "Jave.sql SQL Exception No corresponding LOB data found: select File_data_dbms_lob.."
    Thanks.

  • How to configure number of concurrent processes in XI?

    Hi experts,
    I have a simple interface:
    FILE -> XI -> FILE
The input file is a huge file containing thousands of records.
XI will split the huge input files, so that each record gets written to one file each.
Owing to the huge number of files being generated, I have many messages in status = "To Be Delivered" in the RWB.
When I do a filter for status = "Delivering", I see 4 messages in that status. (Of course the message IDs will differ from time to time, but at any point in time, I can only see 4 messages with the status = "Delivering").
How can I increase the number of concurrent processes that produces the output files?
    Please advise.
    Thanks.
    Ron

    Ron,
From this perfromance tuning guide , page 12 ,
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/70ada5ef-0201-0010-1f8b-c935e444b0ad
<i>The Adapter Framework requires a set of fixed application threads within the J2EE Engine for proc-essing different internal messaging queues (AFW queue, BC Adapter, CIDX Adapter, and so on). Ad-ditionally, certain channel configurations also require a fixed set of application threads (for example, RFC sender channel, File adapter channels). This may require a higher number of application threads. Therefore, within the J2EE Engine configuration (configtool or Visual Admin), go to:
Global Configuration -> Server -> Kernel -> ApplicationThreadManager
Set the MaxThreadCount property to 300</i>
Not sure if this is the exact property but this is sure worth giving a shot.

  • Concurrent Processes

    Hi,
In R12, if i bring down services adstpall.sh, there are some concurrent managers and processes still running even after 15 minutes.
    I used to kill them.
Is there a better way ? do I have to run cmclean.sql or bounce the database after killing processes?
    Thanks.

Why do you have to kill those processes?
If you need to kill those processes, then you also need to kill the database sessions associated with it -- Concurrent Processing - How to Find Database Session & Process Associated with a Concurrent Program Which is Currently Running. (Doc ID 735119.1)
Running cmclean.sql script may not be required here but there is no harm in running it.

  • Help: Concurrent Processing Java Method every certain Time Interval

Hello, I am creating a program to access a database after adding items to cart via UPC code. When adding items, the program accesses the database to get product name and price. The program needs to have functionality for when the database is down. In this instance, the main program will store all UPC codes in a temporary Array List of integers, and once connection is reestablised, reference all these items from the database and add them to the main program (showing name and price). I need help with a method to be invoked when connection originally goes down. This method needs to check for database connectivity every 10 seconds until connection is reestablished so that all items can be dumped from temporary Array List to database for retrieval. What can I use for concurrent processing to have a method running in the background to check for connectivity every 10 seconds (while allowing user to continue adding items to cart). I have messed with the thread.sleep( ) but I am left with no other functionalities (program freezes) when the waitForConnection( ) loop method is invoked. What can I use? Thanks for your input everyone.

  • High Load on Concurrent Processing node

    Hello :
    version :11.5.10.CU2 / Linux -86
Recently I have started to notice that my concurrent processing node is loaded heavily between 3.00 AM to 6.00 AM and the load is normal. I need to find out the root cause of this spike. Is there a log that I can look for in concurrent processing node that will give me a clue.
    Regards,

Look at the longest running requests during that time, then enable sql trace so you can start to tune them, or work with Oracle Support if they are standard programs running with suboptimal execution plans.

  • Any script included in the system to check all major processes/status?

    Hi,
I have ebs R12.1.1 running, and I have a question regarding to the script availability.
For example, I can see that there are several scripts for each services controls under $INST_TOP/admin/scripts like adopmnctl.sh, concurrent manager, apps listener, web server, form server and other scripts...
But, is there any script which lists more on system status of major services with one command?
adopmnctl.sh shows 4 services like OC4J related and HTTP server.
But, I expected a bit longer list. :) And I also heard there was such a script in 11i....
    Does anyone know about it?
    Thanks,
    SH

All the scripts can be found under the same directory mentioned above by you.
Not sure what other major processes/status you are looking, so please elaborate more.

  • Processing Status on Sales Order

I am configuring in SAP R/3 a Free Third Party Sales Order . . . The problem I am having is with the Processing Status area . . . specifically the Overall Status for the Header and the Item.  With the new set up neither of those fields show on the sales order,  and so the order does not show up on VA05 as open when first entered.  What would need to be done in configuration for these fields to be on the sales order, and to show the appropriate status?
Update . . . The only way so far I have found to have these fields show on the sales order is by using the Completion on the item category, but from what I am reading it is not the suggested way to do it, yet the only way so far to get it on there.  And, the problem here is when in MIRO the PO on the Free Third Party Order, it does not complete the Sales Order Header or Item, so I still am unable to get the status to change.
    Any ideas?
Edited by: Diane Thacker on Aug 4, 2009 9:41 PM

    Hi,
Per standard process, the sales process will not complete unless the billing has been done for the sales order.
What this means is once MIRO is done, the sales order is eligible for billing. You must complete the billing, so that the sales order wont appear in the VA05 list. Until billing is completed, the sales order status remains open.

Where we check the sale order processing status configuration ?

    Dear Murugu
If you see the document flow of the particular sales document, you can see the status.
If you want to know where the control is, go to VTLA, for the combination of your order type and delivery type, select your item category and execute.  There you can see a field Update document flow.  You have to check this box for status updation.
    thanks
