COND_A Idoc - Data determination

Hi,
We are sending down conditions using cond_a idocs to POS. We have a condition type that we are using data determination(http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/06/629ee2fb9c11d199ee0000e8a5bd28/frameset.htm) . The Data key in this scenario is not sent down as part of the Idoc.
Anyone tried this before?

Are there any user exits or BADI, which can be used to determine Control record parameters (Partner), based on IDoc Data segments? This is for an Inbound IDoc, into ECC.
I found EXIT_SAPLEDI1_001. But, this has only control record. It is used to determine control record parameters, by using control record only.

Could you please provide some info. about what you are trying to achieve by trying to determine the partner dynamically?
If the scenario is something like 'Partner A should get data related to only plant 1000 and Partner B should get data related to only plant 2000', you could use filters in the Distribution model to achieve this.

How to create a COND_A IDoc

Hi all,
i have a question regarding the creation of a COND_A IDoc. Lets say there already exists a price condition for a specific material. Is it possible to create a COND_A IDoc that includes all data for the existing price condition when I just have the related material number and the condition type?

Hi!
There isn't standard solution for your requirement, but you can create it easily by yourself.
All you need is FM MASTERIDOC_CREATE_COND_A - just fill TABLES parameter PIT_CONDITIONS.
As an example you can use report RWVKP013 - "Send sales prices for material".

COND_A Master Data Distribution

How do I Distribute COND_A master data. Is there any standard t-code to do that?

You may need to ask SD Functional folk to create new pricing report (t/code V/LA) with sending IDoc, message type and logical system paramaters available for input.
or you can copy an existing pricing report (t/code V/LD) into custom report/program and change below parameters to be displayed.
PARAMETERS sen_idoc(1) TYPE c *NO-DISPLAY.
PARAMETERS p_mestyp LIKE tbdme-mestyp *NO-DISPLAY.
PARAMETERS p_logsys LIKE tbdls-logsys *NO-DISPLAY.
Once the report is available for you then the next step is to configure ALE and partner profile in order to generate IDoc COND_A01 from the pricing report.
You may find program RWVKP013 will not give enough selection screen compare with above pricing report. ONLY by material number.

Delivery date determination in the schedule lines

Hi,
       I have a question on the delivery date determination in the schedule lines of the sales order. If the goods issue date in the schedule line has been determined as 17th Aug 2009, and the transit time is 3 days. What should be the delivery date that will be proposed? Should it be 10 + 3 equal 20th Aug 2009, or it will be 21st Aug, which is the the following day of 10 + 3 ? I simulated in the sales order and it gave me 21st, my understanding was it should be just 17 + 3 = 20th Aug.

    to the estimated time required for processing a delivery.
Use
    The system adds the rounding-up margin to the time estimates for a
    delivery, regardless of whether the system
    o   Calculates the times from data in the master records, or
    o   Simply uses the default times that apply to the relevant shipping
        point.

You would use rule resolution using organizational model if you
have created an organizational model or have distributed a plan to SAP CRM and also want to use this for determining organizational data
assign a lot of attributes to the organizational units and these are to be evaluated

XML IDOC data (hosted on a web server) & handling multiple WSDLs

1)how to design an Interface for picking up an XML IDOC data (hosted on a web server) which will be uploaded to SAP or converted to a file
this is what the customer has given me ..can any one explain me this and help me how to more forward
2).This Interface must use UDDI concept because we are going to use multiple BAPIs /RFCs as WSDLs
what is this mean can any send me some document on this
3).Use web-service navigator concept as we will be handling multiple WSDLs
i worked on 1. to define a place holder in WebAS for holding the
wsdls.
2. publish the wsdls in WebAS UDDI Repostory
but i have never used web-service navigator concept as we will be handling multiple WSDLs what is the difference ..send me some step by step docs ..

1.I am not clear with the requirement too. THere is no big deal in sending XML to IDOC or File. Based on your requirement you have to import IDOC structure or ify ou are using file, create a structure for the file.
If u are asking about sendin the XML directly without mapping, even you can do that without MM and even IM.
Please be more elaborate and if you are not clear with what client said, paraphrase them or ask again. Its not good to start work unless we are very clear with the requirement.

The webservices going out of PI are published here.
provide host and port are host and port details of ext system.
Once you enter link in your browser, it shows the available webservices hosted there.
All you need is to click on the required wsdl and test it.
It is as good as sending your data from PI to other system.
It is similar to Altova XML spy but the difference here is you enter the values directly here but in XML spy we send XML .

Dear SAP Folks!
I have a question, I know to read SINGLE idoc data with all segments, we have FM IDOC_READ_COMPLETELY but my requirement is to Read MULTIPLE idocs data with all segments to my internal table in a single shot without keeping this FM in loop! since it is performance issue, at a time i may want to read 1000 idocs data!
Could anyone please let me know is there any way to get this, keeping mind of performance and any other FM?

I know idoc numbers and i can write a select Query to DB table EDID4 to get all segments data to my internal table. But i am looking for FM to do this. because i have too many number of idocs and each idoc is having many segments(I am thinking in performance point of view!) The FM IDOC_READ_COMPLETELY can accept only ONE IDOC number as import parameters at a time to get segment data. in similar way do we have any other FM? or other way? except select query to EDID4 table?

Idoc data in transparent tables

Hi,
There is a existing program which picks up data from Idoc and creates the output files for further processing.
My requirement is I need to pick up data with using Idoc tables, is there any SAP transparent tables which stores the data? Is it possible or is there any method available to select the data?

Idoc data comparison between different R/3 clients.

Hi ppl ,
Is there a way idoc comparison can be done between different clients without going
by Segment by Segment comparison ?
I have a requirement wherein i have thousands of idocs in QA system and i need to
compare those with the ones in PROD system. The segments in the idocs may vary
depending on the data that flows from the third party system which will post idocs in R/3.
So, the segment wise comparison of data is also ruled out .
Do we have any standard reports which will help in achieving this purpose ?
Please let me know how the idoc data comparison can be carried out .

Hi Nick,
There is no standared tools available for comparing the data of two idocs.
By using beyond compare s/w you can check the data, but the thing is you have to download the idoc data to file format.
By using Idoc_xml_transform function module you can download idoc data to xml format, after you can compare.

My translator allows me to import idoc standards.
My customer is not sure how to export the data definitions from SAP. Are the above IDOC data type definitions available on the web?

IDOC Data transfer

Hi Experts,
I have few questions related to IDOC Data transfer. I have two different SAP Systems S1 and S2, S1 Creates sales order and send the data through IDOC Type ORDERS05 to S2, To create sales order in S1.
As i know, Program IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS is used for I/B IDocs in S2. Will be there be any programs to push the data from S1 System.

hi,
idoc is not meant for sending files to another system, they are basically data containers which are sent to other systems like to send the data related to sales orders you can send idoc ORDERS.
you need to first be clear with the requirement for which business object you want to transfer the data, then need to look out if the Idoc is available for the same then only u can sent it.

Date profile can be assigned in Transaction type or Item Category.Depending upon type of dates required you can configure dates specific to meet customer business requirements.
Path: SAP Customizing Implementation Guide>Customer Relationship Management>Basic Functions>Date Management>
a. Define Date Types, Duration Types and Date Rules
b. Define Date Profile
c. Assign Date Profile to Transaction Type
d. Assign Date Profile to Item Category
Steps are as:
1. Define Define Date Types, Duration Types and Date Rules : You can use predefined date types, duration types & date rules If you require some extra you can configure it here.
2.Define Date Profile: Here take reference object as System or user.Assign Date Rules, then date types which you configured in above step.1
In date Type assign date rules.
3.Assign Date Profile to Transaction Type or Item Category: Here assign above Date profile to a transaction type or Item Category.
