Condition Dependant Document Output in SRM 5.0

Hi,
My requirement is to conditionally suppress the sending of the PO output if the action profile type is MethodCall (XML) and the initial PO send completed successfully. This means that on any subsequent change to a PO for this profile type, do not send the output.
If I create a start condition for the Method Call process type, the output record is created but not sent as expected.
Because the BOR object BUS2201 doesnu2019t have the required attributes to meet my requirement, I extended it by adding the version_no attribute.
When testing BUS2201 via SWO1, the custom attribute is visible and populated. When I create the desired condition, the custom attribute is available for selection. When I create the PO the system sends the XML output. Then when I subsequently change it, the system still sends the output. Itu2019s as if itu2019s not recognizing the custom attribute in the decision to determine whether to process the send action.
Has anyone successfully implemented this type of solution?

The solution to conditionaly suppress the PO output generation using a custom attribute seems to be working. Don't know why but would guess that it might have been somekind of a buffering issue as it worked the next day.

Issue with Customizing Condition-Dependent Document Output

Hello gurus!
When we print a Bid Invitation on SRM menubar web "Output Control", Sap creates three new spool orders.
The first contains the output format of our SmartForm ZBBP_BID INVITATION.
The second contains the format of a external mail.
And the third, contains both (the two previous orders in a single spool).
We need to change some parameters to print smartform and to store email content in a two spools maximum. Further, in the future will have to change email body and subject, and print inmediatly in the local printer. We don't know how to do anything, although we have tried several things.
What can we do? Any idea?

Issue with Condition dependent PO output

Hi,
We're implementing Extended classic version for SRM 5.0.
As part of the output determination, we need to determine 2 print outputs for Purchase orders. We have 2 purchase organizations and both of them need to have 2 different smartforms for the print. So, we're designing 2 different smartforms. In order to assign the smartforms as per the purchasing org, I've used "Condition dependent output" in IMG settings. But whenever I try to print, it picks up the standard form from the IMG node "Define actions for Document Output" where the standard form is maintained. We did not maintain the custom form in this node because we have 2 forms for print.
I would like the program to pick up the custom form maintained in " Condition dependent document output".
I understand that we could use the BADI alternatively. But any help in resolving this problem through the configuration is highly appreciated.

Dump in IMG Activity BBP_TRIGGER_PO_COND Condition-Dependent Document Outpu

I'm getting short dump when executing IMG activity BBP_TRIGGER_PO_COND (Condition-Dependent Document Output) with message "CX_OS_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND".
We are on SRM Server 5.5 pack 12.
Anybody had this problem too? Is there an SAP Note available?

Hi! I had the same problem as well. Did you manage to find a solution to this? I just resolved it by
1.     Run transaction code SPPFCADM.
2.     Under u2018PPF: Applications in Customizingu2019, select the entry u2018BBP_PDu2019.
3.     Check all the options in the u2018Clean Up Inconsistenciesu2019 box and confirm by choosing the u2018Clean Up Inconsistenciesu2019 pushbutton.
4.     Refer to SAP Note 564826 for details.
5.     You can now access the configuration with the runtime error.
6.     By default, the action definition for print and mail is STOP. Delete the stop flag manually (right-click to choose option).

Condition Dependent PO output

Hi Friends,
I have maintained the PO output condition as 'Processing using Selection Report' in
(IMG): SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Set Output Actions and Output Format->Define Actions for Purchase Order Output.
In (IMG): SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Set Output Actions and Output Format->Condition-Dependent Purchase Order Output, I have maintained the
Processing Time as 'Processing when saving the document' for e-mail output.
But currently my system is not taking the Processing time ''Processing when saving the document' which I maintained in Condition Dependent PO output. It is taking the
value 'Processing using Selection Report' which I maintained in Define Actions for Purchase Order Output.
So when my PO is ordered the output status will be "Not Processed' at first and then I have to manually process it or run the selection report to process it.
I want the Po output to be "Successfully Procssed" immediately after the PO is ordered with my current settings. Is that possible? Kindly help me with this issue.

Condition-Dependent Output not processed

Hello,
I have configured conditions for output for purchase order documents (BUS2201) in the following path in SPRO > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Set Output Actions and Output Format > Condition-Dependent Document Output.
The purpose for this is to check the purchase order status prior to sending out the PO as to ensure that only successfully replicated POu2019s are sent to suppliers. When I create a PO that passes the conditions (iow the conditions are True), the output is generated in a Not Processed status. I have to now process the output manually or by running program RSPPFPROCESS. Once processed, output is successfully sent.
Note that the Time Of Processing setting is set as u201CProcessing when saving documentu201D. I would expect the output to be processed automatically by the system, but it is not.
If I create a purchase order that does not pass the condition (iow the conditions are false) an output is also generated with a Not Processed status, but I am unable to process it due to the conditions that are not met.
Please advise why the output that passes the condition is not processed automatically.

Document Output BID

Hi all
We're on EC 7.02 SP05
I'm trying to set up a scenario for the document output for RFx. I have a requirement that for a specific transaction type no document output should be issued/sent (send mail) to bidders.
I've tried to accomplish this using condition-dependent document output by setting "schedule condition" for Mail to be Transaction Type <> XXX
But the requirement is partially met as in RSPPFPROCESS the outputs are there (the ones with Transaction Type = XXX), but always process in Error (because of the condition). The others outputs for bids with transaction type <> XXX are processed ok.
With Event Control I couldn't achieve it. Is it possible?
What do you suggest? Should I implement badi BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF?
It may be easier than I think but I cannot see it.
Any ideas are welcome.

Hello Martin,
That is the standard behavior, the system always create your output medium.
The standard way to solve it is by handling the output adding some rules in customizing, but the un-sent outputs will be stored. There is no reason to delete them.

Condition dependent output not triggering

Hi,
We created a new PO action definition. Processing time is 4 Processing when saving document. The processing time not permitted is 00XX0 Selection report. The schedule automatically flag is checked. In the action determination section, the determination technology is set at "Determination using conditions that can be transported" and the rule type is set at "Workflow conditions". This action definition has one processing type "Smart forms print".
A condition dependent output is configured for the action definition indicated above. This condition has the default settings from action definition checked. In the processing detail tab we have a specific printer we want to use. In the schedule condition this is what I configured:
( " --- Vendor medium ---
     &EC Purchase Order.Sending Medium& = PRN
) " --- Vendor medium ---
and    ( " --- OA address number ---
     &EC Purchase Order.Vendor Address.Address Number& = 12642
) " --- OA address number ---
We have a vendor with additional ordering addresses. I got the additional address number from table BUT020. Vendor has medium "PRN" in table BBP_SENDMEDIUM.
When I create PO using the vendor and selecting the additional address (# 12642), the immediate output to the specified printer is not triggered. I mean the condition dependet output configured is not being triggered.
Please, can anyone give me some tips about what I am doing wrong.

Questions regarding PO output in SRM 4.0

I have several questions regarding the settings for PO output in SRM 4.0 ( Ext. classic)
Would really appreciate if someone provides me the rationale and business reasons behind some config settings:
I am referring to BBP_PO_ACTION_DEF transaction in IMG
1) What is the difference between Processing when saving document & immediate processing. SHouldn't the PO output be always processed after the PO is changed and saved?
2) In the Determination technology what is the significance of the term ' Transportable conditions'. Why would it be different if the conditions were manual and not transportable?
3) In the Rule type what is the signifcance of Workflow conditions? How workflow controls the output?
4) What is the meaning of ' Action merging' in layman's terms and what do each of the choices like "Max. 1 Unprocessed Action for Each Processing Type" signify.
5) What powers do the 'changeable in dialog' & 'executable in dialog' indicators assign to the user processing the PO. What happens if these indicators are not set.
6) What does ' Archive mode' in processing type signify. Are the PO outputs archived and stored?

Hello,
Have a look at note 564826. It has some information.
As far as I know, processing time 'Immediate Processing' is not allowed. I really don't know the reason.
"Processing Time" should be defined as "Process using Selection Report" when an output should be processed by a report, such as RSPPFPROCESS, for example.
If you set this as "Process when Saving document", then the output will be sent immediately, otherwise you have to process it with transaction BBP_PPF.

SD Document Output Preview Issue

Please help on this output issue.
I am trying to print my sales documents through STD output types.
Want to issue the sales document output to the screen (Preview) or Local network printer.
Please share with me the functional & technical config steps.
For example I am using AN00 (STD Quotation Output) for printing the customized quotation document. Every thing is set and I am able to
Trigger the output successfully. But I cant see it on my screen and not able to print in my local printer.
After quotation saved, I can see the AN00 is in YELLOW. And 2 Output device are exists (LOCAL, LP01)
Please advice me the printing setup. Where should I do change to configure my print preview or connect my local network printer as a default SAP R/3. printer

Thanks For your Quick Response.
According to the STD setup of AN00
Medium: 1
Dispatch Time: 1 (By Periodic Job)
Partner Function: SP
Storage Mode: Print Only
Condition record has been maintained and the output was triggered correctly upon saving the quotation document. (Process Status: Yellow)
Then i selected the output and changed Dispatch time to 4 (Immediate). The process status becomes RED once the document is saved.
Processing log is as follows
Line1: Object 0000560015
Line2: Output type: Quotation
Line3: Processing log for program /SMB40/RVADOR01 routine ENTRY
Line4: Processing routine ENTRY in program /SMB40/RVADOR01 does not exist
What is it meaning of Line4: Program is RVADOR01 exists in SE38
And Form /SMB40/SDQUO_A is existing in the SMARTFORMS transaction.
And to link the local print to SAP (As an output device), should i need to contact basis or any specific place that i need to setup.

Automatic Email of Billing document output to customer

Dear All,
We have following requirement @ our client. You valuable inputs will be very helpfull.
Currently output (RD00) are taken via printout and later scanned and sent to customer.
Now client wants following requirement , where in once the billing documents are generated, output should be sent to customer automatically via EMAIL (mentioned in the customer master : contact person).
I kindly request you to help me with steps required to configure this scenario in SAP.

then maintain condition record for output in VV31
Speciefy medium as 7 and in communication method mention email id to whom u want to send
As soon as you save billing document system will send the email to party.

Define Actions for Document Output - Activate / link std. Interactive Forms

Hello,
The transactions 'Actions for Document Output' help tells me the following:
If the processing type External Communication is used for document output using SAP Interactive Forms, the following configuration needs to be done:
SRM Document (Action Profile) Form Name Format
Purchase Order (BBP_PD_PO) BBP_PO_ADB BBP_PO_ADB_PRN
The interactive forms are available in our SRM system. Still up on searching the forms for f.e. the Purchase Order definition it can not be found. Only smartforms are listed. How come?
Has the setting in transaction 'PDF-based Forms for SAP ERP' -> 'Activate PDF-Based Forms' got anything to do with this?

I tried searching for it where you should link the form with the BUS object.
Following path (PO): Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Set Output Actions and Output Format -> Define Actions for Document Output -> Action Profile: BBP_PD_PO -> Tab: Processing Types -> Smart Forms Print -> Search for Form doesn't include the Interactive forms.
I just realised: I need to add a new entry 'External Communication', would this entry be applicable for all communication methods? Thus fax + print + e-mail? And how did you go about setting it up, i suppose adding an 'external communication' entry next to the smartform entries in the std. SAP BBP_PO would be double (system wouldn't know which 1 to choose).

Presently we are using STO (SLoc to SLoc, within same plant) for goods transfer.
But now we want to use MType 313 (Remove from Storage) & 315 Place in SLoc.
But we want the document output for MType 313. Can any one pls provide me the detail configuration steps to proceed? Quite urgent!

SPRO->MM->Inventory Managment-> Print Control-> Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents_> maintain the value configured for 313
NACR -Create the Condition Record for the Output type WA01 or WA02 or WA03.
using Transaction event type WA, Print Version 1 or 2 or 3 & Print item Configured for 313.
Create the Goods issue with Print Item falgged & the message can be out put using T.code MB90.
