Condition Determination in Quotation

Dear all,
In quotation transaction pricing condition types is not determining automatically.
Downloaded condition objects from ECC - 'DNL_CUST_CNDALL, DNL_CUST_CND, DNL_CUST_PRC'.
I have add user parameter PRC_TRAC and check SLG1 downloaded conditions.
Ensured all Condtion Tables, Condition Types and Pricing Procedures downloaded in to CRM system (BP C03.3.1.5.3.3)
I have re-downloaded objects DNL_CUST_CNDALL, DNL_CUST_PRC and DNL_CUST_CND, but there is no improvement.
I could not trace the problem from where it is coming, Kindly help me in resolving the issue.

Step 1
Is it that the system is not determining a specific condition type or all the condition types? If the system is not determining a specific condition type, jump to step 2. If none of the condition types are determined, go to header --> Prices tab page and check if the pricing procedure is determined or not.
If pricing Procedure is determined, Go to customizing and check if the pricing proc, condition types, acess seq, and accesses are there properly.
If pricing procedure field is blank, check the customizing for the determination of the same
Step 2
What does the Pricing Analysis say? I hope you have already activated PRC_TRACE wth value "X" (upper case) in SU3. Now go to the item level conditions tab page and click on ACESSES button. It gets the pricing analysis from IPC and displays you the exact reason why a condition type is not determined automaticaly as required.
Step 3
Additionally, go to ECC and check in a quotation if it determining properly there in ECC or not.

Error with VPRS condition type in Quotation

Hi,
When go through the pricing conditions of my quotations, I see a red signal indicating error before the VPRS Condition type (Condition category G). When i do the condiotn analysis, the diagnosis read as below.
"Error in quantity / value updation"
Diagnosis:
This condition has not been determined using condition records. The amount or value should be determined from another data source. For cost (condition category 'G') it is read using conditions from the material valuation segment, for a cash discount condition it is read using conditions from the terms of payment table.
In this transaction an error occurs - the material valuation segment or the terms of payment table could not be read or a currency translation has failed.
System Response
The condition has been provided with the deactivated indicator 'X'.
Could you please let me know what could be causing this?

Shipping condition determination (OVL2) not open and system close

Dear Guys,
as per attached, i used ECC 6 VM and when use t.code OVL2 to open Shipping condition determination system appear this error and terminated.
IS there another choice to link Ship condition+Plan+LoadingGroup.

Is a plant determined in the document in ERP after downloading from CRM? If not then this is probably the reason so you will need to map a vendor partner in CRM to a plant in ERP at item level so that the determination of the shipping point takes place.

No Conditions Determined (NoAuthorization for Input)

Hi, I'm new in SAP, can anybody please help me with this error messages happened in MIGO transaction?
"No Conditions Determined (No Authorization for Input) - Message No.: 06235
Diagnosis:
Your user master record does not include authorization to perform this function or display certain data.
Procedure:
Contact your system administrator.
Your function authorization does not cover the entry of conditions.
Function authorizations may be maintained or displayed by authorized persons in Customizing."
The user is doing MIGO with Article that has a Material Type: Packaging. The document won't post due to said error messages.
I've already checked the user authorization, everything is ok.
Please advise.

You can check with your system administrator (basis admin) to check whether correct profile has been authorized for your user name.

Free goods Determination in Quotation

Hi All,
I found out from help.sap that free goods determination doesn't take place in quotations. (Reason: Free goods determination takes place only when document category is "C") please correct me If I am wrong.
I have a user who is after my BLOOD now, that he want free goods determination to take place in Quotations. I am sure some one in our forum would have had such a situation. How this was addressed?
Can any one help me here to fulfil this requirement. Many thanks in advance.

Basically Users may not know the limitations of SAP. In such case, we need to discuss the actual need & purpose of the requirement.
Is this requirement is really required, if required how it is going to be benefit to the client? & free goods determination in quotation is just to show the customer or is there any availability check is carried out @ free good component level.
- What is the actual purpose having free goods in Quotation? That may give you the hint to proceed further.
Still if required,
As expressed, you can process through BOM which will explode in Quotation. But I dont think this suffice client requirement. I guess, Client intention is not just displaying the free goods in Quotation, there could be some thing else , they want to achieve, which you need to find out from your User only.
some unwanted/illogical requirements will be simply ignored after the Discussion with the Client. Happens in every project.

Free goods determination for quotation

I have a requirement to implement free goods for a quotation .
SAP has provided this facility to Sales order not for quotation.
If i want to implement same free goods determination in quotation how can I achieve this.

Hello,
Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (Orders).
As you know the document category for Inquiry is A and quotation is B. So it will not work for them.

Price condition determination for purchasing contract(ME31K)

Hi Experts,
     It is possible to apply price condition determination in purchasng contract(ME31K)? We had maintain the price condition for below keys: WBS/Material number and this condition record work well in purchase order. But I hope that this condition record is applied in pruchasing contract when we create contract by ME31K. Plz kindly give me a suggestion.
So I want to check the condition dtermination is whether fullfil my requirement. If we can not use the price condition determination to get the net price, then we only go for user-exit to get it.

Why not, in me31k, click on condition button on toolbar for item conditions and for header conditions, click on menu bar path HEADER>CONDITIONS and maintain your conditions accordingly.

Pricing Procedure determination for Quotation,Contract,Scheduling Agreement

There isn't any separate pricing procedure for Quotaions , Contracts , Scheduling Agreement s..
The pricing which u normally find in PO derived from Vendor Master ( Based on Vendor Schema ) , hold good for the above purchasing documents.

Freight conditions determination

Hi Experts,
How are freight conditions determined? and they are determined at shipment level or shipment cost document level?in which document these conditions are captured at shipment out put or shipment cost document output? Throw some light on this issue.

Condition type: UTXJ is not getting re-determined in Quotation/ Sales Order

Dear All,
I had created one Quotation with
Customer-Tax Classification as 1 - Taxable, and
Material _ Tax Classification as 0 - Tax Exempt
Condition Records (T.Code: VK11) wasn't maintained.
Later on, I got informed that Material is also taxable. So, I changed the Material - Tax Classification to 2 - Service Tax.
Then, I maintained Condition Records (in VK11).
Now, still taxes are not getting calculated in Quotation.
When i tried to check Condition Type: JSER - Service Tax; Its still showing A0 - 0% Output Tax in Field: Tax Code instead of AA - O/P (interim) 12.36%
Also, when i tried to Upadte - Pricing Type: Copy Pricing Elements unchanged and redetermine Taxes in Tab: Conditions; System give following Log:
Maintain the chapter ID for material LSGENOTHERS J_1IMTCHID
Please, assist.
Note: When i tried to create new quotation with same Parameters (Customer & Material for the same Sales Area) taxes are getting calculated.

Check following things.
Check teh pricing date of the Earlier Quotation.
And now check the Condition reocrds validity date which u created later.
Ur condition record must be valid on the pricing date, thenonly it will be picked up by the system.
After u adjust the validity of the condition record, click update pricing.
also check the material tax clasification in Sales Item level under Billign Document tab, it should be 2, if it is not then change it accordingly and regenerate the pricing.
Hope this will resolve your issue.

Table or Function Module to get Condition Values of Quotation

I created RFQ. Then I maintained Quotation for few Vendors. In the Quotation, I used tax code relevant to taxes in India (TAXINN procedure). I am asked to develop a Z report with the help of ABAPer to compare the quotations with Gross price, discounts, freight along with taxes like Excise Duty, VAT etc. When I had put this Quotation number in EKKO table, I am not getting the condition document number KNUMV. For other purchasing documents, this field is getting generated. Without this field, I can not get Condition values using KONV table as we need to link EKKO-KNUMV with KONV-KNUMV. Do you have any idea how we get the condition values of taxes for Quotation? Is there any function module to get it?

Pricing condition determination in billing

I created a pricing condition record which will be determined just in billing document.It is tariff price. Just to determine this pricing condition in the billing document how should I configure the system?
Now for Standard sales order and for billing document types same document pricing procedure is assigned as "A-standard"
Should I?
1) Create a new pricing procedure and add the new pricing condition type in it.
2) Assign a new document pricing procedure to billing document type
3) Assign new pricing procedure to the new document pricing procedure in pricing procedure determination?
I don't want this pricing condition to be determined in sales order. Is there any other way instead of creating a new pricing procedure?

Is the pricng condition in the sales order as well as billing pricing procedure currently. If this is a new condition type for which you are maintinaing a condition record then with a comibination of a new billing type and new pricing procedure and condition type you can trigger this.
But if the condition type exists in both the sales order and the billing and only condition record is different then you could use perhaps a differentiating feature of this condition.
Is the tariff price different at the time of sales order and billing. IN what way. use this using standard billing copy controls or write a user exit to use this.
For instance if you wnat the system to take the exchange rate on the day of billing and not the sales order you can use the control in the item copy controls from delivery to billing doc as exchange rate on the billing date as the control.
Unless you can elaborate the condition record and your exact problem its difficult to give an exact solution.

Condition details in Quotation Maintenance

Dear Experts,
While maintaing the quotations , I was entering the value against each quotation conditions. But I was not able to see the details of the conditions as I could see the same in the condition tab of purchase order.
Please guide how it is possible to see the same.

Click on Analysis Tab to view the condition details. or M/06 to view condition maintenance.
To view the value details go to Mek3.
