Condition Line Inactive when Material Price is 0

Hello,
When I create a Sales Document in VA01 and use a Material which has got a price > 0, everything is Ok and the condition Line is green. However, when I use a Material which has 0,00 as Value, this line becomes inactive.
I would like to have the line as active even if the price of the Material is 0,00.
Can anyone help me please.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Pramod

Thanks for your reply,
Can you please tell me what is V/06 and how to check the entries?
BTW the Inactive Value is X - Inactive via formulae or incorrect.
In fact, the price of the Material is 0,00 therefore it's normale that the net value will be 0. But the condition line still inactive (in red)

  • When material price changed (sd item conditions)

    Hi all,
when material price changed in the time that is used in an sd order and when this order's delivery has been created..
the order's item's material's price has been changed before invoice printed(assume item as 10 and material assume as 600300)
i need to update that order with the new price of the material.
Even this can be done backward. I mean you may have an order that amount is 100,000(with different item no's) and send this at 20 times and may print 20 different delivery for this order. And order can be on January and you still send the janu's order at May. Whenever you send the delivery you have to update the respective item's price not others.
All in all i want to update the order's price item by item...
please write any way to solve this.
    Thanks..

    Hi,
it does not matter if the BADI is already implemented. You can add your additional logic there. If you put break points in all methods of BADI implementation and run ME2xN then you will see when is each method called. You are right that here is no BADI method SET_DATA. What I meant is that you get a reference to PO item (type IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_ITEM_MM) in BADI method PROCESS_ITEM. This interface has to methods GET_DATA and SET_DATA. Using these methods you can get current item fields and change them according to your needs.

  • Statistic Condition Type inactive when duplicated

    Hi gurus,
I wonder if there's any way to make a statistic condition type become inactive when the user inserts another equal one.
    Example:
Here is my procedure: ZP0001 with this condition type ZC01 set statistic.
If I create a new sales order and I insert this condition in the procedure twice, the system does NOT deactivate any of them. It just let them occur at the same time.
If I go like this with a non statistic condition type, then the system deactivate all duplicated types and only remains the last one inserted.
Do you know if this behaviour is possible for statistic condition types in any way?
    Thanks in advance,
    John

    Hi,
a statistical condition type can not be inactive because it is not taken into account in the calculation per definition as statistical.
One more sentence to clarify to the sentence before. It will be inactive but still displayed - as this is the nature of a statistical condition.
So far so good. But I know exactly what your problem is, when your statistical condition type is present twice you would like to surpress the earlier record.
We had a similar requirment once. We had two different statistical condition types which were displayed at the same time.
The requirement was to only display one of the two condition types. When A was present B should not be shown. I tried with condition exclusion but it did not work for statsitical conditions (as they can not be set inactive...). But it worked very good with a pricing requirement we created ourselves.
    Good Luck.

  • How to include Freight charges and unloading charges in Material price.

    Hi All,
Can you pls. advice how we can include freight charges & unloading charges in Material price (MAP) when receive in system.
    Current Situation :
We buy Switchgears from vendor, which transported with special vehicle arrangement from different service provider and gets unloaded at warehouse by another service provider. Currently business create seperate PO for Material vendor, Freight Vendor and for unloading service provider. But MAP is only updated with Material cost only. How can I include delivery cost and unloading cost in MAP thro standard SAP process.
Your solution will help business heaps.
    Regards,

    Hi,
Create three condition types namely basic material price, freight charges & unloading charges.
For  basic material price , you can copy PB00 and rename your basic material price condition type. Now freight charges & unloading charges condition type in M/06 , do not maintain condition category ( keep it blank ), so that it will added to inventory cost .For freight charges & unloading charges do not maintain account key & accrual key in Pricing procedure.
Cretae PO , now you will see all cost added to NET price in PO and you can for doing GR where all cost are inventoried as materisl cost.

  • Value from condition types not to be added to material price

    Hi friends,
I have a Pricing procedure for Cross company stock transfers.
Supplying plant put some margin on the material price and will supply it.
Now My question is how to avoid the value of the margin getting inventorized(adding to the material price) in the receiving plant
As iam using Std price for this FERT material in the receiving plant , it is trying to inventorize.
I have assigned an Account key and accrual key , for this margin condition type in my pricing procedure.
    many thanks

  • Schedule lines getting created even when material is there in stock

    Hi Friends,
I have configured a normal material and have sufficient stock also, but when I am creating a sakes order the system is generating schedule line for the material even when I have stocks.
Can someone please advice what could be the problem and the possible solution.
    Regards,
    Wasim.

    Dear wasimuddin.sayed,
When you are creating sales order definitely system will create the schedule line for Confirm delivery date and delivery QTY.
that is the functionality of schedule line.
now if you don't have stock at plant level on the same date then as per availability configuration system will confirm the another schedule line on which confirm delivery date and  qty will be available.
if not satisfy the answer request you to elaborate the question in detail.

  • Finished material Price when i do GR for Prod.Order

    Dear all,
after i finished the Production Order i made GR for the Finished Material ,during this One Material Price is posted to the G/L  account, I want to know how the Prices came. I saw this in Production order Cost Aanlysis screen.
Please note we are using Moving Avg Price.
Please help me to know the Concept.

    Kumar,
When a GR is made, system looks for the Valuation Class/Materail Type of the material and the Movement type used to determine automatically which account needs to be hit.
The price is determined by the valuation variant assigned to the valuation area(Plant). Here we define from where the sytem should take the price.

  • List of sales condition types for a material

    Hi,
I have a material and maintained pricing and discount condition types for that material. I guess VK33 helps to view what condition types maintained for that material.
However when I tried VK33 and selected the material from the conditions from the node on the left hand side and entered the sales org, dist. channel and material and executed after I clicked on the display icon on the condition type, Sales org, Dchl material no conditions are displayed.
Please let me know how I can view the list of sales condition maintained for a specific material.
    Thanks.

    Hi Giri,
    Thanks for the response.
In VK13 I should enter the condition type then I can hit condition information so that the details of all records maintained for a specific condition type will only be displayed but not for other condition types.
In V/LD, I am getting the list only for individual prices. If I insert 17 u2013 Discounts and surcharges by customer or 18 u2013 Discounts and surcharges by material, I am unable to get the list. Is it anything because of the u2018release statusu2019?  We had not checked the u2018release statusu2019 field for the tables assigned to access sequence for the condition types.
As per the requirement business wants to view the list of u201CDiscounts and surcharges by customer/materialu201D. I think this is possible if I run the report provided by inserting values 17 or 18 but the unable to view the list. Any config settings required to activate?
Please let me know how to view the list of condition types.
    Thanks

  • Import duty to be added to material price

    Hi!
I have one specific client's requirement ( not indian client), when import goods, they have to pay import duty and VAT :
Import duty on Basic material price, VAT on Basic material price + Import duty.
I have defined one condition type for import duty and added in tax procedure and account key also assigned in order to capture the import duty in seperate GL account.
But I don't have idea how we can add this import duty to material price i.e client is asking while posting goods receipt it has to be added, of course it is not possible.
I have tried with MM pricing procedure by giving one condition for import duty and manually they can insert import duty once they knew the import duty to be paid, then they can post GR and invoice. ( of course we cannot use both MM pricing condition approach and Tax procedure condition type)
but we want to avoid manual updation of duty tax.
Can any one suggest me alternative method.
    regs,
    ramesh b

    Hi,
Check your import duty condition type - condition type category should be B.

  • Defaulting Tax Code in the PO line item by Material Group

    Hi All,
How do I default the Tax code for the PO line item by material group in INDIRECT purchasing (without Material Number)
What is the config for this?
    Thanks in advance.

Not possible with mateiral group except you devvelope custom solution or try the following
    Do the config in thetcode
    OMKL
    OMKN
    OMKO
than maintain that for your conditon in MEK1.
In this section, you maintain the tax code determination facility.
Within the framework of the price determination process, it is possible
to have the tax code determined automatically via the conditions.
For the purposes of automatic tax code determination, tax indicators
derived from the material master record, Customizing, or the purchasing
document are used. The system determines the tax code on the basis of the
    combination of these tax indicators.
To assign a tax code to a combination of tax indicators, you must
maintain master conditions in Purchasing (menu options "Master data ->
    Taxes").
There are tax indicators at the levels "plant", "account assignment
    category" and "material".
In addition, there are two tax indicators that are derived from the
    purchasing document:
o  Country of origin and country of destination differ
o  Region of origin and region of destination differ
The assignments "tax indicator -> plant" and "tax indicator -> account
assignment category" must be made in Customizing.
Automatic tax code determination can be useful, for example, if different
tax rates apply depending on whether a material is placed in stock or is
    consumed immediately following its procurement.

  • Exclude freight from material price

    Dear SAP gurus,
I have requirement where there is a freight to be included in PO, however there is also a requirement that this freight should not be included as material price when we do GR.
As far as I know if we have freight condition in PO, then when we do GR the amount will be included.
Eg. PO for material A --> price for material A = 5,000 USD, qty = 1 pc, freight = 100 USD. Then when we post the GR, the journal will be:
    material = 5,500 USD
    GR/IR = 5,000 USD
    freight clearing = 500 USD
Thus, the material is increased by 5,500 USD (freight included).
Is there any way to make it so that the material will only be increased by 5,000 USD?
    Best regards,
    John

    Dear,
Go to M/06...for your condition typr FRC1...check below seetings:

  • Use of Material price from material master in billing of material services

    Hi,
In material consumption cycle when material service is billed, the rates/prices  that are used for billing
come from the service column in service master  whereas the functionality requires to bill on the actual material rates From the material master in MM.
How can i get this done.I have already tried with pricing procedure configuration.
How can i use the material price for billing purpose. What exactly i need to do.
    Please assist.
    Regards
    RAMIT

    Hello colleagues,
I am working on the same topic right now.
    I've done the following steps:
                                   1). Service Rule R24
                                   2). Default Material Service
3). Mode 2 for a material in a material master data
                                   4). A condition table
5). An access sequence for this condition table
                                   6). A condition type
7). A pricing procedure: with the formula 510
    I have two questions:
1). The system creates an invoice at cost zero when the calculation type of the condition is"Percentage" in the condition type.
The system creates an invoice at cost nonzero - when the calculation type of the condition is "Quantity" in the condition type. In this case I define an amount for a material directly in the condition.
I want to use a price of material based on a material master data. Could you please tell me what must I do for that?
2). I don't maintain a material directly in a material consumption view: I create a good issues for a case and the system creates a record in a material consumption view. In this case the R24 doesn't work: a default material service isn't created by the system based on a material in a material consumption view. (R24 only works when a material is maintained directly in a material consumption view).
Did somebody face with the issue? Do you have any idea how can I fix it?
Thank you very much for your time.
    Kind Regards,
    Alexander.

  • Condition type field when Define Pricing Procedure Determination

This forms the description of the condition type.
    E. FROM
This is used to define the progression of the calculation and range of subtotals

A key is assigned from the drop down menu; this can be used by the system in other area like Sis for reporting purpose also
    L. REQUIRMENT KEY
This function is used to assign a requirement to the condition type. This requirement can be used to exclude the system from accessing the condition type and trying to determine the value. This can be used to specify that the condition type should only be accessed if the customer has a low risk credit.
    M. ALTERNATE CALCULATION TYPE
This function allows you use a formula as an alternative in finding the value of the condition type, instead of standard condition technique. this can be used to calculate complex tax structures.
    N. ALTERNATE CONDITION BASE VALUE.
The alternative condition base value is a formula assigned to a condition type in order to promote an alternative base value for the calculation of a value.
