Conditional Format Icon Sets not Displaying after SharePoint Update

We have a SharePoint 2013 site, and after we applied the update below, the conditional formatting for our primary dashboard no longer appears in Excel Services. We have three different versions of the file and all have been
affected. I have tried removing all of the conditional formatting, and re-applying it, but it does not work.
If the files are opened in Excel, they look perfect. A blank, new file with the same conditional formatting rules work fine.
Any thoughts on how to correct the issue??

Hi Barbara,
According to your description, my understanding is that the icon sets cannot be displayed in Excel files after installing SharePoint 2013 October CU.
The link to download the SharePoint 2013 October CU is not correct, it is October CU for SharePoint 2010.
I recommend to check the build number of your database to see if the right October CU for SharePoint 2013 is installed.

Mail icon is not opening after software update

I have updated the software on my mac book pro after which i am not able to view the mails i can see the icon in the task bar but cannot open the window.
the operating system is 10.10.2 OS X YOSEMITE

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder—not just its contents—to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Restart the computer. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. Any custom stationery that you created may be lost. Ask for instructions if you want to preserve that data. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...

Desktop setting not saving after system update

Hi All,
I did a system wide update including the changing the kernel from 2.6.25 to 2.6.28 and now I cannot change my desktop setting.
that is, my desktop background picture and font size is not saving. First I could not shutdown and i read the forum where
it was suggested to downgrade from hal-0.5.11-7 to hal-0.5.11-4. and that work for me. but my system
not saving my desktop setting. I have the "automatically save session on logout" check.
I am using xfce4 as my DM
any help please.

check your home folder permissions. open up your /home/ right click on your username folder click properties and in permissions dialog check that owner can view/edit files and then check something like apply to all subfolders and files

Preview pictures not displaying after BTV+ Update

My BT Vision + box got its update last week and it seemed fine for a few days but it has now started to do something really annoying. When I go to browse On Demand content the preview pictures remain blank, I can move to them and see what they are by the text name and select and play them all, but no pictures. Any ideas how to fix this? It's not a connectiuon issue as all the On Demand content works fine if selected and all other internet in the house is great. Any ideas anyone?

Formatted Search icon is not displaying for the UDF

I have fifteen UDF's in the Marketing document and I have applied formatted search on each of the fifteen.
But for one paticular UDF formatted search icon is not displaying even though the formatted search is active on the field but it is working fine for other field of same kind in same scenario.
Please help me.

Windows 8.1 modern shortcut icons are not displayed in taskbar after domain join

Hello,
Like the title says: modern (metro) shortcut icons in taskbar are not displayed after domain join. There's just blank space where the icon should be for Store, OneDrive etc. Shortcuts work for classic and 3rd part applications.
Shortcut icons work properly if I log in with local account. The applications work properly whether the icons are displayed or not for every user (local and domain).

Since this issue only happened for domain account, I suggest you check whether there're some GPOs\logon scripts applied to the domain accounts which controls the taskbar icons.
Have you tried to unpin the modern taskbar icons and re-pin the icons to the taskbar? What is the result?

You are in Recovery Mode. Follow the instructions below to recover your iPad.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

That happened to me for a short period of time after I updated. It didn't do it with all apps, but it did it with a few here and there. Try a few basic standard troubleshooting steps. Close all apps and reset the iPad.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
You can also try resetting all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.
Hopefully it will be something simple, but don't rule out restoring the iOS software, if nothing else works, but start with this easy stuff first.

Problem with subtotal, and the total icon is not displayed at the toolbar

I'm currentlyhaving difficulties working with the subtotal and the grandtotal. I have the code in the right place like the sort table
CLEAR k_sort.
ADD 1 TO k_sort-spos.
k_sort-fieldname = pv_fieldname.
k_sort-up        = c_x.
k_sort-subtot    = pv_subtot.
APPEND k_sort TO i_sort.
and the fieldcatalog
CLEAR k_fieldcat.
add 1 to k_fieldcat-col_pos.
k_fieldcat-fieldname = pv_fieldname.
k_fieldcat-tabname    = c_tabname.
k_fieldcat-seltext_l = pv_seltext.
k_fieldcat-outputlen = pv_outputlen.
k_fieldcat-datatype   = pv_datatype.
k_fieldcat-do_sum     = pv_dosum.
APPEND k_fieldcat TO i_fieldcat.
but it didn't seems to show both the total and subtotal. Even the icon is not displayed at the ALV toolbar. The field which I need the total is a currency field. I even try other fields (interger fields) but with no luck. I'm using REUSE_ALV. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Grid web page will not display after we DST patch for the o/s.
All below start fine without any errors:

emctl start iasconsole
opmnctl startall
emctl start agent
The Grid web page is not displaying. What might happened after the o/s dst patch that might cause this? Our GRID is 10204 with a 10104 repository. The 10104 has not yet been dst patch.
What logs should I be looking at to figure why the web page is not displaying? Thank you.

My iBook will not display after Power up Chime

Please I need Help.
My iBook (16VRAM) Does not display after the power up chime. so i have tried to reset the PRAM by holding down CMD, OPTION, P & R after the chime, But Nothing Happens, I dont hear a second chime (I dnt Knw how long am suppose to hold down the keys, But i held it for 2 mins and still nothing)

Force quit in the middle of an installation spells "trouble". Try starting the computer in Safe Mode. If successful, restart the computer and see if it fully boots. If not, you more than likely have directory damage that needs to be repaired. Disk Utility may be up to the task.

Format Trigger - do not display frame if multiple FIELDs are 0

Hello,
I am having trouble creating a format trigger to NOT display a frame if a multiple fields within the frame are 0.0
The field is named F_number1, F_number2, F_number3
The frame is called M_numberframe
All 3 of the fields listed have to be 0.0 in order to not display the frame. If only one is 0 then they still all three need to show.

The field is named F_number1, F_number2, F_number3These are actually field name's. You will have to write the source name in the format trigger.
Let say F_NUMBER1 is having souce as my_field1, F_NUMBER2 = my_field2, F_NUMBER3 = my_field3 then
Go to the frame's PL/SQL Editor by selecting and pressing F11 and write the as below...
IF :my_field1=0 AND :my_field2=0 AND :my_field3=0 THEN
RETURN FALSE;
ELSE
RETURN TRUE;
END IF;-Ammad
