Conduit is added on addons update and stops FF & plugincontainer

I updated several addons that were automatically suggested the other morning.
I happened to noticed that Conduit Engine suddenly flashed on the screen as having been installed.
When FF3.6.16 came up, after several seconds it greyed out and lost focus and I was unable to access any of FF's controls.
I had to go to task manager to stop the plugin container process.
When FF became operable again, I checked my add ons and saw Conduit Engine.
I uninstalled it and restarted FF.
FF now works fine.
THREE questions - WHY is Conduit Engine being installed without my permission or awareness??
Why are plugin container and FF adversely affected by Conduit Engine??
How do I STOP Conduit Engine from being installed in the first place?

Is there something wrong with this thread? Am I missing something? I would have thought a one word answer would suffice from someone in the know but not even that!!

Could be a hardware problem:

IPhone got half way through ios6 update and stopped working...

I would perform a DFU Mode Restore of iPhone on computer with iTunes.
Here are the steps. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable. Hold both home and power buttons for exactly 10 seconds, release the power button, keep holding the home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually about 20 seconds of holding home button. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. DFU Mode is sometimes difficult to get. So keep trying the steps until you get it. DFU mode is iTunes saying iPhone in Recovery Mode except screen is black, blank.

ITunes Problem- Updated and stopped working

I just updated my iTunes although I am not sure to what version.
Anyways- since I have updated the itunes, it has not worked. The icon on the desktop is no longer the regular itunes icon(the CD with the blue music note), its an empty white square- the icon that usually means that their is nothing in the program anymore.
When I click on the itunes desktop icon it says "This action is only valid for products that are currently installed"
I have tried to "repair" the itunes in the itunes setup thing- but that didn't do anything either
some help please?

I have the exact problem you have. I tried deleting (went into program files and deleted the folders ) from my system and reinstalling it. It worked until i rebooted my system, I am still on xp. The restore doesnt help either. It cant be my ipod ( its quiet old!) as it isnt even connected to my system at start up. I think maybe a bug with the new version that will eventually have more and more users affected when they update. I f i find a solution I will post asap... good luck

App updated half way, and stopped. Can't delete or continue download.

I impatiently decided to update several apps on the road today, before I had access to WiFi (at work). App started downloading the update and stopped about half way. I assumed that once I was able to contect to the network, it would speed up and complete without problem. Well, now it's stuck. I can't delete it or access it. It's basically a dead icon on my screen.
I haven't tried connecting it to my iTunes at home, but is there another way to access installed apps and force delete? iPhone finder?

Updated to 7.0.6 on my iPhone 5s and now my phone is all out of whack. It won't sync the new playlists I added after the update though when it's plugged into iTunes it says it's synced. Help please!

So I updated my iPhone 5s to version 7.0.6 yesterday, and now my iPhone music isn't working properly. When I select a song in a playlist on the phone it shuffles through the playlists for like 3 seconds and picks a totally different song to play. The firmware update corrects an error that may occur, however the techs would have checked the condition of the battery prior to installing a new one. If the battery was questionable, the firmware update was really not too important.
You can check the battery condition by going to the apple, left side of the menu bar, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware, Power and see what it says about Cycle Count, Condition, Capacity: Condition anything but Normal needs to be checked and may need to be replaced.
The cycle count of 1,000 charge cycles is the typical life of a Lithium-Ion battery, the point at which the capacity drops to 80% of the as built capacity.

This seems to have started happening after the last Itunes update I did as I was able to put music on my ipod touch a month or so ago. Is there some way to go back to an older version of itunes? I really have no idea what else to do since I followed every step on the trouble shooting page for windows 8.

Go to 'Settings'
'Music'
Scroll to the bottom and enter your password to log onto your home sharing
Then connect to iTunes and sync!

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.
