Conecting MBP to Epson EBSO2H 2600

Hello, i need some help, i just bought an  Epson EBSO2H 2600 proyector with a  max res. 800x600 , i also got the minidvi cable, so i pluged them both. The problem comes when i try to duplicacate the window, i get a much bigger screem on on my scream so i have to do scroll  so i am not able to see the full image.
i dont know if i explain myself properly, sorry for my english.
I try to change the resolution from 600x800 to 1024x780 then the image get worse and on my computer get normal.
This is a mess, does it work better if a try a hdmi cable o shall i just get a projector with 1024x780 res.?
Please help, thanks a lot.

Open system preferences while connected to the project and select the Display panel in the 2nd row:
now select the Arrangement segment at the top and uncheck the "Mirror Displays" checkbox, then set the resolution for each device separately in the "Display" segment

  • Using MBP with Epson Powerlite 1835 projector

I tried connecting my MBP to an Epson Powerlite 1835 projector (using VGA adapter), but it wouldn't play my movie through iDVD. It would, however, access my iPhoto program (it was a menu option) and sometimes I would see my screen -- but never the video.
The projector is property of a party hall being rented for my neice's rehearsal dinner, at which time we want to show the video I've produced.
I've since seen this model project for sale on Apple website. It says you connect via standard USB cable (which I did NOT attempt). Again, I used the VGA adapter.
Anybody know how to make this work?
    Thanks,
    Terry D

You will need to check with Epson and see what type of connections they have and then buy the proper adaptor in the Apple Store, like this: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC953ZM/A?fnode=MTc0MjU4NjE
This is the only one that will mirror the output on your iPad 2.

  • Printing pdfs to Epson printers, images do not print properly

I have Adobe Acrobat Professional v8.2.5 and Windows 7 64k and since the recent upgrade of Acrobat when I print to either of my Epson printers (Epson Aculaser 2600 and Epson Stylus Office BX610FW) the text is fine but images are smeared or just print as a block of print with no detail.  I don't seem to have this problem with HP printers and I don't recall making any changes to the printer settings. Up until about three weeks ago I did not have this problem.
If I save the pdf file as a tiff or jpg etc then everything prints fine.
    Any ideas anyone?

Not sure how to back up you did, though Time Machine could be your friend.

  • MBP or iMac gfx card?

Which is better? the 8600mgt in the MBP or the HD 2600 pro in the iMacs?
    especially for...
    gaming?
    3D graphics work?
    video encoding?

As a general rule, the graphics cards in desktop computers will outperform the cards in laptops of the same relative age/trim level, so I would expect the HD 2600 pro to be better - but +only very slightly better+. Note that the Nvidia 8600M edges out the ATI Mobility Raedon HD 2600, which is the mobile version of the Raedon card - this may be the comparison the previous poster refers to; the HD 2600 PRO is the desktop version, which outperforms the companion mobile card from ATI. I couldn't find a head-to-head of the Nvidia mobile (the M in 8600M) vs. the Raedon desktop (missing "Mobility" in the full name), possibly because mobile-to-desktop graphics card comparisons are not the norm.
The upshot is that the graphics card should not be the driver of your choice between iMac and MBP - base that on need for portability, display size, and cost.
    Hope this helps...

  • Aperture 2.1 printing problem

I've just upgraded to Aperture 2 and now have a problem printing to my Epson Aculaser 2600 as although it previews ok it prints a black box. Previously there wasn't a problem with Aperture . Th latest upgrade to 2.1 hasn't resolved the problem either. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with my Aculaser. No solution as yet. I am able to print Thumbnails, and can print a photo in thumbnail mode by setting it to print only two images per page. Not really a solution I know. At this time I export my images to Photoshop for printing.

  • Is this airport network plausable?

this may seem a little over complicated but can anyone see any reason why this would not work?
An airport Express set up as a main base station and conected to the internet via dsl modem & an airport extreme set up as a remote base station with WDS and conected via ethernet cable to an old Imac G3 333mhz with Epson Stylus RIP Pro 2 print server installed this inturn would be conected to an epson stylus pro 4000 printer. Lastly 2 Powermac G5's with built in airport would share the internet and printserver/printer.
    Thanx Matthew

    Hi Mattthew:
Your set-up sounds as if it will work to me.

I have a dsl internet conection with a download speed of .66 mbps.  I would like to watch netflix with a wireless conection to apple tv.  What is the required internet speed?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Netflix recommend a minimum connection speed of 0.5 Mbps, however at that speed many of the other features of the Apple TV will be painfully slow.

  • Printer with MBP (HP vs Cannon vs Epson)

The MBP comes along with a free printer (considering the 100$ rebate). I am buying one right now and have the least idea about the printers. Therefore wanted your suggestions on the printer options available -
    1) Canon PIXMA MP470
    2) Canon PIXMA MX300 (with fax!)
    3) HP Photosmart C4480
    4) Epson Stylus Photo R280
    5) Any other offered by Apple through online purchase.
Please suggest asap as I will be buying it tomorrow. I have already postponed it for too long for the new announcements at Apple's "Let's Rock"!
This may not be the right forum for this topic; but I could not found any other more relevant one.

I do not know those models, but from looking over them in the past it was pretty clear that the printers ranged from "OK at everything" to "great at photos, OK at text" to "OK at photos, great at text" so study the features carefully and compare against your priorities. Usually if a printer has more color cartridges it's more for photos than text.
Also it can be a good idea to research which cartridge part numbers each model needs and look up how much they cost. The long term cost of these printers is not the printer but the ink.
My non-techie mom picked the HP (a year ago, might be a different model) and it's been fine except for one nasty paper jam I think was caused by re-using the back side of a printout that had a crease or tear at the end of the sheet; otherwise I'm pleased that she doesn't have to call me for help about using it. I own Epsons myself.

  • I WANT TO CONECT MY MBP TO MY Dell UltraSharp U2711 AT FULL REZ

My caveats;  These are not the only adapters that you can find.  I have a feeling that these may be of inferior quality and I suggest you find some that are first rate.  Too many problems occur using cheap connectors.  After all your MBP is first rate and deserves the best.
Length is dependent upon your environmental requirements.  What I selected here is in a format that should work.  I like this configuration because of its simplicity.  I use a Mini/HDMI adapter which connects to a separate HDMI cable.  Nothing wrong with that, but not as tidy.
    Ciao.

  • MBP Retina OS X Yosemite has distorted display when connected to Epson projector.  How do I fix this?

MBP Retina OS X Yosemite has distorted display when connected to Epson projector.  How do I fix this?

    Hello ATLawson,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that the display, after connecting to a projector, does not have the image quality you would expect. There may be a few different troubleshooting steps I would recommend in this situation. To begin troubleshooting, I would suggest reading over and working through the information in the attached article.

  • Can I conect a Logitech USB headset H540 to a MBP?

I have a Logitech USB headset H540 that my MBP wont recognise. I have plugged it in,opened the system preferences and clicked both the input and the output but the headset does not even show up. I have unplugged it rebooted the computer, and tried all sorts of options.

What does Logitech say about this?  It's is their hardware so they should have a solution.  It almost definitely has nothing to do with iTunes itself (the forum on which you posted).  Did you read the installation instructions?  Some devices may requires specific drivers for which there may not be one for Macs, or certain output settings in your system preferences panels which you will have to peruse if they are not specifically outlined in your user manual.

  • MBP and photoshop CS2

I am an artist and I do prints of my work. I just bought a new MBP. I have to use photoshop CS3... I have the upgrade from CS2... NOW, all of a sudden, Adobe and Apple apparently aren't talking. CS2 cannot be loaded onto this computer, won't work..... Question.. can I firewire CS2 from my Quad Pro Desktop?
Also, I use a professional wide format Epson printer... 10.6.4 does not work for driving this printer, so I made sure that I bought this 10.6.3 MBP so I could drive my printer... what's going on? Are other companies (namely Adobe and Epson) trying to boycott Apple?
Any suggestions for me would be greatly appreciated!!!
    Thanks in advance.

For your Epson make sure you have run Software Update and downloaded any Epson driver updates it offers. You've got to have the latest. I don't have a large format but I do have a 3800 that prints very well under Snow Leopard, though I hear it was not that way in the beginning. The drivers are always the sticking point and those come from Epson.
CS2 came out long before Snow Leopard so of course the code may be too old. I don't know what Adobe officially says about CS2 on Snow Leopard. I think they have a CS3 tech note. CS5 runs 64-bit fast and awesome, no evidence of any "boycott" here...
You made a big jump in hardware and software, it's always a chore to get all the little pieces updated. I migrated my Epson-printing Mac from 10.4 to 10.6 and am still not done tidying up loose ends.
