Conector Exception when browser language not English

Hello!
I'm using IConnection to connect to SAP-system(which I declare in System Administration) and to execute BAPI.
And it's working fine. But working fine only when content language in browser set to "en" or "en-us". If on first place stand another lang("ru" for example), connection to system raise
com.sapportals.connector.connection.ConnectionFailedException: Connection Failed: Nested Exception. Failed to get connection. Please contact your admin.
Why this happened? Is there some solution in this case?

  • Table names and column names defined by other languages, not English.

    Hi, everyone.
I am wondering if there are any possible problems or any inconvenience
when I define table names and column names by Japanese, not English.
Currently, we are using SQL server 2000 as a db and windows as a operating
system. In the near future, we have the plan to change the database software
and operating system to "Oracle 10g" and "Linux O/S".
I have not experienced the oracle database, which has table names and column
names defined by other languages, not English.
Personally, I would like to use English as table names and column names.
In this case, I might have to provide appropriate reasons.
Are there any possible problems or any "inconvenience" in terms of
system maintenance, development, or something else ?
What could be pros and cons in this case?
    Thanks in advance.
    Have a nice day.
    Best Regards.
    Ho.

First you need to make sure your database has character set that support Japanese.
    Choosing a Character Set
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14225/ch2charset.htm#i1007681
The main "inconvenience" you will have is if the client doesn't support Japanese or unicode, it will have trouble to access the table.
And say in future after the application been developed, you want to implement the schema in some English environment, you will have hard time to do it.
My point is English tablename and column names doesn't prevent you use it in Japanese environment and save Japanese data but not vice-versa. Hope you understand.

  • Browser Language Not Recoginzed in a new window

All, I searched the forum and couldn't locate anything related to my issue.
I have a an app which is translated to spanish (primoary lang english) and is based on the browser language.
I send my users a URL link via email. When they click on the link, it opens up a new IE window but is based on the primoary lang not the browser lang. If they refresh the screen, it displays based on the browser lang. OR if they click on the link and already have IE open, it displays correctly based on the browser lang.
Why is the browser lang not being recognized when a new window opens? Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks, Melissa

Can you try in safe mode please?

  • Syn read file adapter throwing exception when file is not present directory

    Hi Team,
Requirment is to check for a file is present in a soa directory .If present delete the existing and write a new one.
Syn read file adapter is throwing errors when file is not present in the directory soa local.
Any paramter we can add to skip this exception.
    any help is appreciated.
    Thanks all
    Swetha H.

    Hi:
An alternative is that , before u try to read it, u make a list directory, and search for ur file, if it is not in the list, then u don't read; otherwise, u do.
The list operation is part of the file adapter.
    hope this helps

  • Fall back font, when font is not english?

What is the font that pages falls back to when the font selected is not english. For example when I choose Apple Braile or Baghdad fonts, it falls back to some english font. I like the font it falls back to a lot and was wondering which one it is.

I agree that it's Lucida Grande in these cases. You can determine the system's fallbacks by using TextEdit, which actually changes the font style (just check the font panel) instead of just changing what font is used for rendering.
For completeness, I'll note that you can get other fallback fonts for other characters.
For example, Hiragino Kaku Gothic ProN W3 is the fallback for Japanese scripts, and Geeza Pro is the fallback for Arabic.

  • Database exception when browse a web page from IIS

I have developed a web application accessing data in Oracle Database.
When I run on Visual Studio 10, anything is working fine.
When I browse on Server (IIS), it has exception : Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleException: ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
    Please help!
    Thanks

it works fine when browse the web locally via Visual Studio 10. Data returns correctly as expected.Valid Oracle client environment. ODBC driver manager is loaded. It in turns load the Oracle ODBC driver DLL. That in turns load the Oracle OCI (Oracle Call Interface) DLL.
When I deploy app on Server (IIS), pages acccessing database get the error, but others work fine.Invalid Oracle client environment. Likely the OCI DLL (or dependant files) cannot be loaded.
Recommendation for an Oracle Client Environment is Oracle's InstantClient.
Download Oracle InstantClient 11g for your o/s. Unzip the contents to (for example) C:\InstantClient_11_2.
Place the client sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora in the same directory.
Set/update two environmental variables for the o/s user (or o/s service) that needs to use the OCI driver interface:
    set PATH=%PATH%;C:\InstantClient_11_2
    set TNS_ADMIN=C:\InstantClient_11_2
Optional. Download the SQL*Plus zip for InstantClient. Unzip to the same folder. Use sqlplus to test connectivity (after setting the above 2 environment variables) and configuration settings and aliases in the sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora files.
Optional. If Java is used, download the JDBC InstantClient zip and unzip into the same folder.
    As simple as that.

  • Itunes in Asian language - not English

I upgraded to itunes8 and now there is no words, just boxes (except itune words such as podcast etc) and if I go into the help section, it is all in an Asian language.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled old and new versions and seem to come up with the same problem every time. And am definitely choosing the English version. Have even tried to pick another language to see what would happen but still seem to get the same results.

You were lucky! I would be okay if mine had opened in German as I can sort of read it, but it opened in some weird language that may as well have been martian! Have you ever tried finding the Settings and Language options in Martian? It isn't fun! In the end I uninstalled and re-installed since I couldn't find an answer. Works fine now.
I can only assume that when I first installed it I must have not noticed that English wasn't the default option. I made sure I selected the right option when I re-installed.

  • Mail interface now in German language, not English

    Hi,
As of this morning Mail has decided to make everything in German (all menus, dialogue boxes, windows etc.). All other programs are in English as they should be. In my System Prefs I have English set as the top language in the International pane.
I have removed mail prefs from my Library folder and this did not change anything (other than Mail asked me to set up everything again).
Does anyone have any insight as to how to fix this?
    Thanks,
    Mace

  • My messages app on my computer is typing in another language (not english). How do I change this?

I finally got the app to link with my phone and it all to work. But now it's typing in Arab or something when the rest of my computer is in English.

    Back up all data.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and the support article linked below for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them, then boot in safe mode* (by holding down the shift key at the startup chime) to rebuild the font caches. Boot again as usual and test.
    Mac 101: Font Book
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. In that case only, after running Font Book, launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
    sudo atsutil databases -remove
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. After running the command, reboot as usual.

  • Firefox 4 -- just downloaded and menu & top bars are in some strange language - not english. I can't seem to get to a tools menu to change the language because I can't read the top menu.

Just downloaded Firefox4 and can't read the top line menu because it's in some strange language with symbols instead of letters. How do I get it to display English in the top line menu?
If I could read the menu, I'd go to tools and see if there were an option to change the menu language, but since I can't read the menu choices, I'd only be pushing meaningless buttons.
    [email protected]

Thanks. I tried it and get the attached screen. I don't see anything which lets me change the language in the menu.
Before I give up completely & just stick with Chrome or IE, I'll bring my laptop which has a correctly configured version of firefox 4 side by side with my desktop & use it as a template for clicking on the correct gibberish lines. I still don't see an option for changing menu bar language, but I'll search around a bit.
It would help if I could get phone contact with someone at Mozilla, but they don't seem to list a phone number on their help page ----

I suppose, you need to set that as the default language.
Manybe, you can try the security forumn. More appropriate for this question.

  • Trial language not English!

The download manager and trial version are in another language! There was never a language selection and everything else was in English until I went to download the trial version.
    What do I do?

Did that already and still had the problem. See below.
I decided to buy the month to month just in case that it was the trial version that was the problem and the same thing happened!!!
