Conference calls not connecting/dropping

i am having issues using my conference calling feature on my iphone. The second and or third call gets dropped about 30 seconds into the call. Is this morelikely a ATT issue or an iphone issue?

I as well. 2nd caller get's hung up on when trying to conf to the 1st caller.
No options for releasing callers, or holding all but 1 for a private conf, then re-joining, etc.
My Droid does a way better job!
What gives Apple/Verizon - what/when's the fix?

when i make a conference call using "conf" soft key. the initiator hears the busy tone when adding third party.. i am facing the same problem when all extensions are internal numbers...the cucm version is 6.1(4) and ipccx 7.0

If you are unable to perform a conference from your phone than your issue is unrelated to UCCX and is somewhere in your UCM implementation.

Some wireless devices not connecting/dropping conn...

Am hoping someone can help or suggest possible problems/solutions...
For the past couple of months several of my devices that used to connect to the Internet via my Home Hub 3.0 wirelessly now regularly fail to connect to the secure connection, requiring a reboot of the hub before they will connect to the Internet - which they then do. This problem occurs again after a period of time (haven't really been monitoring how long - probably after it looses the connection (switch device off, or leave Wi-Fi area)).
The devices will connect to the Internet via unsecured BT Wi-Fi or FON all of the time, and will also wirelessly connect to the secure hub but will not pass through to the Internet - or at least the device will show connected to the secure WiFi (but will not connect to the Internet if tried).
I noticed that another post refers to a Hub 3a upgrade recently (finishing in January)...could this have caused some kind of issue on my hub not allowing certain types of wireless connection/pass through? The devices that have problems may be a little older - Netgear WNA3100 (802.11 b/g/n) adapter and an android phone (802.11 b/g/n), however another android phone and laptop adapter do always work?
I'd be grateful of any suggestions?

Skype call not connecting between 2 Windows 8.1 ma...

I have two Windows 8.1 computers, both bought brand new in August. We can not get them to connect to each other at ALL. Both accounts were converted from Skype name to MS Accounts. We have been having to switch to competing products to talk 90%+ of the time.
I don't see any way to diagose the problems within Skype.
When I attempt to call, I don't hear any ringing noise most of the time and it just shows "connecting..." Then I get a "call, no answer" in my chat screen. The other end may or may not have any ringing.
If the other end calls me. It rings, I answer, it shows their profile picture but no audio or video passes and then after 20 seconds or so it says "We're trying to get the call back..." and then fails.
Both ends are behind NAT firewalls. One end is a home and the other a university. Competing products work.
I feel like I have been transported back to the mid-90s with netmeeting.
What can I do to fix it/troubleshoot it?

Still having issues. No help provided. Anyone out there?
Hope to try today by using a different network and this weekend by being on the same network. Are there any troubleshooting statistics that Skype used to have available in monitoring or elsewhere to see dropped packets and the like to see what and where the problem lies?

Hi, today I tried to do a 3-way conference. The 3rd party appears linked in on skype screen page, but: if third party is mobile; mobile phone does not ring if third party is other skype user; skype user does not ring this just started today. any ideas on how to fix? Thank you

same for me. it used to work fine on the older versions of skype.incredibly frustrating as i deinstalled latest version for an older version to overcome this problem.then skype simply inhibited use of the old version saying i must upgrade.i will be looking for a new free digital call system now.doh.

Call merging (conference calling) not working on iOS 8.1 & iPhone 6 (VZW)

Hello Everyone. I've discovered a problem with call merging on my new Verizon iPhone 6 (iOS 8.1). When I add a caller and then hit the merge call button after the second caller answers, the screen says that the calls are now merged. However, the original caller is still on hold and cannot join the call. This problem seems to exist regardless of whether any of the callers in question have CallerID blocking or not. Also, when placing a call on hold to answer an incoming call, I have access to switch calls button, but not the merge calls button.
Has anyone else experienced this glitch? Is there a solution or work-around?

I have the same problem with T-Mobile, but this must be an Apple thing! Why do they feel the need to fix ring tones but screw up more important things like Bluetooth and Call Merging???? Seriously, their rein at the top won't last with this BS!

Been on hold for over 30 minutes, Playstation not connecting, dropping computer connections

The Verizon Service just keeps getting worse and worse. The Service is mediocre to say the least. I am constantly having connection issues in my area. Random boots, PS4 wont connect, even though I have 100% connectivity. I constantly have to call an argue because I find random charges, on my bill. Never had I been more frustrated with doing business with a company. I have to say they are the absolute worst. And to get out of a contract with them, They are going to charge me ETF fees. Thats ok verizon I am going to go on every review site I find and report how absolutely terrible your customer service and internet is. You guys are a straight rip off.

So I finally hang up after waiting for 45 minutes. I recalled and used billing customer service and explained to the operator that I just waited for 45 minutes and I would please like to speak to some one in technical service. So what does she do... She connects me to the same exact number that I just sat and waited on. I literally just explained that I wasted 45 minutes waiting and requested that I directly be transfered. VERIZON you WORK FOR ME, I DONT WORK FOR YOU!!! REFUND all the times I have I have sat on hold, Waiting for your foreign customer service reps!

FaceTime call not connecting?

Hello. My grandmother recently got a new iPad Air and I have been getting familiar with the device by testing out FaceTime and the other features it comes with. Yesterday and today, I tried to do a FaceTime call with this one friend of mine, who has an iPhone 4 or 4S, and it did not notify her that a FaceTime call was coming through. She also tried to call me on the iPad and it did not ring. My wi-fi is turned on and she said hers had to be turned on. Any suggestions as to what we can do to fix the problem?

Facetime outbound calls not connecting

I am using facetime on my iPhone 4s and my iPad within a home network using an Apple Airport Express. When my friend calls in everything is working as expected. When I try to initiate an outbound call the same persons' iPad does not even ring. When I put my devices off the WiFi network and use the network of my mobile carrier instead, everything is working fine again (even the outbound calls). So I guess it might be a problem with either my Airport Express or the cable modem. Unfortunately I couldn't find any remedy on the net and I am somewhat stuck on how to resolve this issue. Did anybody experience the same? How could it be resolved?

Call not connecting

Hello, my phone is not letting me make calls. It says "Your request cannot be completed now, please retry later" It has been doing this all morning.

Holy Smokes! This is something we need to get you back up and running ASAP, kelligurl. Can you please confirm for me what zip code you are in? Are you able to receive phone calls? How about text messages, are you able to send/receive? Does your data service work? Please keep us posted.

Problem adding database schema , eroor : not connected

I download the demo sample from oracle soa web site . and i am trying to follow the tutorial to
create the database schema, to make this step complete
I create oracle_home and oracle_SID variables (Windows OS )
then
I open an sqlplus session (sys/pass as sysdba) and to make sure that i am
connected i execute
select * from V$database ;
it works
then i execute :
select * from hr.jobx
it works file.
it mean that i am connected to database.
but when i execute @build.sql i get the following errors , can some one help me ?
i should say that after i execute the @build.sql i can not execute any command because it says that SP2-0640:Not connected

I almost resolved the issue but i do not know whether it is a correct path that i used or not.
i have made some changes in build.sql as follow :
-i changed the schema name to HR , and its pass to HR_PASS
-i comment schema creation command
now it successfully executed.
but i can not understand what was the problem.

HI I have an Iphone 3GS and the microphone jack works when I play music but not when making phone calls. please help as I use it for conference calls

Hi I use my phone for conference calls and use the microphone jack to connect to speakers. It doesnt work when making phone calls but when i play music on the phone the jack works with the external speaker.
