Config Document to setup ADS

We're using Netweaver04s.
Is there a configuration document that outlines how to use one ADS to render Adobe PDF forms from several ABAP WAS systems?
It seems to involve setup of a RFC destination in the WAS system where the form is designed. This was not documented in the configuration guide.
Are there other steps involved that are not included in the config guide?

Hi Lavaughn,
setting up the ABAP connection to the ADS works the same in every ABAP system, and it is described in the Config Guide. It is a manual step for every system in transction SM59.
We also have a new Note on using ADS in unsupported landscapes: 925741.

You can get the overview document as well as SAP Tutor which will explain step by step configuration in details which are available at http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman
Once you get into rkt-solman, choose Solution Manager on the leftside.
On the rightside:
1. Select Solution Manager 7.0 .
2. Continue to select Role as "Supp Organizations/Serv Providers".
3. Click "Open" in "Change Request Management Open/Close".

Hi,
Try some other LO extractor in RSA3 to check if you get the same error.
If you dont then it may not be system memory issue, check if thr is some user exit written for the extractor.The problem could be in the user exit whr the internal table may get overflown and lead to the page overfloen dump.
If this is also not the case try reducing the packet size.
Let me know if the issue is resolved.

Document Types Setup for Expense Approval and Payable Invoice

Can anyone please suggest Document Types Setup for 'Expense Approval' and 'Invoice Approval' and its tables related to the same. Table storing its document_type_code and wf_approval_itemtype as we have for PO_DOCUMENT_TYPES_ALL table for Purchase Order.

It could be because of main memory problem... so Restrict your selections and do the statistical setup
by the way how many comp codes you have? restrict with comp codes or doc ranges

As a Consultant, what are all the cares and importance have to be given while preparation of a configuration document.

The important elements of a good Config Document (for each Config element) are:
1. Use
2. Prerequisites
3. Procedure
4. Screen Shots
An extract from a good config doc is reproduced below:
Maintaining Storage Locations for Plants
Use
A Storage Location is the place where the physically materials are kept within a plant.
Prerequisites
Plants must have been created.
Procedure
1.To carry out the activity, choose one of the following navigation options:
a.Transaction Code OX09
b.IMG Menu: Enterprise Structure ->Definition ->Materials Management ->Maintain Storage Location
2.System will give a popup screen where in system will ask for a Plant for which you want to define Storage Locations.
3.Please input the value XXXX in the Plant field, and press Enter to continue.
4.Click on New Entries pushbutton to create new Storage Locations.
5.Similarly do for the other plants.
Finally Paste the screen shots.
The audience for the config doc is the respective (MM, FI, etc) consultant from the Client's team.

Generating config document - Error! No table of contents entries found.

Hi Forum,
am trying to generate configuration document in solar02.I have already uploaded the document in project documentation in configuration node in solar02.But when I try to generate the config document by enabling the macros
I can see the document generated but with the following error in the document
Error! No table of contents entries found.
Whereas I have maintained the Contents in the document.
And also the rest portion the of the document(total pages:45) is also not being visible.The generated document contains only 3 pages.
Can anyone guide me to solve this.

Thanks for the reply.The error am getting is in the document(already generated)itself.But it is not showing the entire document being generated.I can see only 3 pages when I do generate configuration guide.Whereas I have already maintained the table of contents in the document I have uploaded.The error that I have mentioned in the Subject line is appearing in the document which is generated in solar02(generate configuration guide in configuration node).

Offcourse, you need to be aware of functional processes - what functionality is standard SAP E-recruiting providing and make it use as per as your customer environment.
IMG configuration node in spro will always be helpfull - Read each and every node and just implement it.
There are no specific documents available.
