Config of apache agent

Hi,
I installed the agent 2.1 for apache 1.3.29. I did not create any policies or agents in the amconsole (I don't know if I have to in order to get the agent working).
The problem I have is that I am not redirected to the login page if I am not authenticated and that the agent lets me access the protected pages and shows the following messages in the logs:
2005-09-26 13:55:32.493    Error 15815:9b738 PolicyAgent: URL Access Agent: access allowed to unknown user But when I am authenticated I am able to retrieve ldap attributes which proves that the agent still does some work.
how can I tell the agent to redirect to the login page when not authenticated?

    Hi,
    I've used the j2ee agent with a j2ee web app and it is pretty easy to retrieve the username and role of the user with the getUserPrincipal and isUserInRole methods.
    I'd like to know if I can grant access to php applications running on a apache server with the apache agent the same way I did for the j2ee app?
    thanks for the answers

    Hello,
    You need to install the Linux Apache Plugin. The one you took is only if
    you have installed Apache on AIX.

    hello everyone
    i lookup some doc. to config the Unified MA
    i use IPCC 8.0 (CUCM ICM CVP is 8.0) i config MA but when i call in the ICM return no device targets...but i really config it ....
    next is my config:
    in CUCM 8.0
    i creat a local CTI port :LCP5000F0030 and give it a DN 60030 (my CUCM pim is 5000)
    i creat a network CTI port : RCP5000F0030 and give ti a dn 913311173269 (9 is the number for target the number is goto PSTN... and 13311173269 is a mobile phone number)
    in ICM
    i open the MA in agent desk setting and CTI OS
    i creat a device target
    name:60030
    global address:60030
    configuration parameters:/devtype ciscophone /dn 60300
    and i creat a lable : 60030.CM_pg (CM_pg is my CUCM routing client)
    now i login the agent use agent ID 50000
    agent ID :50000
    instrument:60030
    phone number 913311173269
    if i use call by call login ,when i ready and call in the CC the ICM return no device target
    if i use nailed connection the agent desktop return possible causes are invalid instrument;media termination problem or other CM issue

                        RCP5000F0030   DN  60031
    Enable mobile agent check on ICM agent desk setting.
    Add device target or agent targetting rule for the CTI port DN  i look at some doc. say only need creat LCP DN
    the TEST.nic is a routing client connect to another instance ,and use that instance goto CVP ,so this device target i also creat to that instance
    Add static route in CVP ops console 600>cucm ip address

    nailed connection
    when i login the error
    if i use call by call when the call goto agent , the router log viewer show no device target
    and i find another problem the RCP ip address is wrong the 10.10.10.33 is right and 10.10.10.37 is another instance icm...i dont know how the CTI port regester to CUCM...

  • How to config AM agent with websphere app server which binded http server??

    Hi, thanks for your concern.
    I am configuing AM policy agent with websphere 6.0 application server , the difference to the normal situation is : the IBM application server is binding with IBM http server so the server can deal with request from the port 80. It puzzled me much what shall I do when I installing the agent, the following are the questions:
    1. Enter the Instance Config Directory: -- shall i use the config folder for "server1" or "webserver1"?
    2. Enter the Server Instance name. -- shall i use the "server1" or "webserver1"?
    3. Enter the preferred port number on which the application server provides its services: -- shall i use "80"(web server) or "9080"(app server) ,
    4. Enter the preferred port number on which the application server provides its services: -- yes i should fill "/agentapp" here, but when i deploy this application, the web module should be "webserver1" or "server1"?
    And yet I only need SSO here , what is the easiest way to configue them well? I do not want to obey the contents from DOC, at fact it makes my websphere crashed ... I think maybe I can use "filter" for application only after I installed the agent, is that right? but it make me crazy that, websphere told me it can not find the class javax.servlet.Filter ... I copied one for it ,but it still can not work. I think maybe I make wrong configuration before .
    Is the document "Sun Java SystemAccess Manager PolicyAgent 2.2 Guide for IBM WebSphereApplication Server 6.0" only for stand alone application server?
    Any help will be most appriciated! thank you!

    If you are trying to install j2ee Agent 2.2 then the below answers may be helpful. i am not sure what webserver1 is ?
    Remeber all config for j2ee agent is for the app server.
    1. Enter the Instance Config Directory: -- shall i use the config folder for "server1" or "webserver1"? You should be using the 1 which your app server is using. The server.xml will be modified for the corresponding server instance.
    2. Enter the Server Instance name. -- shall i use the "server1" or "webserver1"? depends on above config
    3. Enter the preferred port number on which the application server provides its services: -- shall i use "80"(web server) or "9080"(app server) , for j2ee agent ot should be 9080
    4. Enter the preferred port number on which the application server provides its services: -- yes i should fill "/agentapp" here, but when i deploy this application, the web module should be "webserver1" or "server1"?it should be ur app server port.
    And yet I only need SSO here , what is the easiest way to configue them well? try sso_only mode
    I do not want to obey the contents from DOC, at fact it makes my websphere crashed ... I think maybe I can use "filter" for application only after I installed the agent, is that right? without the agent filter in the web.xml the agent wont intercept any traffic.
    but it make me crazy that, websphere told me it can not find the class javax.servlet.Filter ... I copied one for it ,but it still can not work. I think maybe I make wrong configuration before .
    Is the document "Sun Java SystemAccess Manager PolicyAgent 2.2 Guide for IBM WebSphereApplication Server 6.0" only for stand alone application server?
    Follow the SUN Docs strictly and it should work fine.

  • OS/X Lion Apache userdir configs, and other httpd.conf oddities

    There seems to have been quite some discussions around the userdir and other configs with Apache.  I think I stumbled on the issue.
    Most of the advanced configurations in httpd.conf is surrounded by
    <IfDefined WEBSHARING_ON>
    But, in the /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache.httpd.plist file, there WEBSERVICE_ON is what's defined.  I added the following to the plist file:
    <string>-D</string>
    <string>WEBSHARING_ON</string>
    right next to the WEBSERVICE_ON flag, and all worked again.
    A lot of other folks just edited the heck out of the httpd.conf file, which works, but I wonder if it screws with the automagic configuration doodads in Server.app.
    Anyway, thought i'd document my solution in case anyone else googles as I did...

    I've tried follwoing these instructions but I have an issue with
    # Create snort user. The intention is to let user snort have access only to the snort database.
    $ sudo createuser -U _postgres -P snort
    Password:
    Enter password for new role:
    Enter it again:
    Shall the new role be a superuser? (y/n) n
    Shall the new role be allowed to create databases? (y/n) n
    Shall the new role be allowed to create more new roles? (y/n) n
    It keeps telling me "could not connect to database postgres: could not connect to server: No such file or directory"
    I'm running OSX Mountain Lion, and have verified using serveradmin status postgres that it is up and running.

  • FAM 8.0, Tomcat J2EE agent installation problem

    Hello:
    I was able to install FAM 8.0 in Tomcat 6.0.14 on Ubuntu (7.04) Linux. Everything seems fine. In the end, the applications I want to use with OpenSSO also make use of Tomcat 6.0.14. I noticed on the opensso users email list that the Tomcat 3.0 agent won't be available until early next year; but that the 2.2 agents should work with FAM 8.0. So, I got the the J2EE agent for Tomcat - SJS_Tomcat_Server_55_agent_2.2-01.tar.gz. The documentation makes no references to Tomcat 6, and I'm hoping this is due to the fact that Tomcat 6 was not available when the documentation was written.
    Does this agent work with Tomcat 6? I have this problem when installing the agent (agentadmin --install):
    $CATALINA_HOME environment variable is the root of the tomcat
    installation.
    [ ? : Help, < : Back, ! : Exit ]
    Enter the $CATALINA_HOME environment variable: /Users/jas/Development/opensso/tryout/apache-tomcat-6.0.14
    Invalid directory specified for the $CATALINA_HOME environment variable
    Invalid CATALINA_HOME directory :
    /Users/jas/Development/opensso/tryout/apache-tomcat-6.0.14I can see in debug/agentadmin.log the following:
    [05/24/2008 13:06:37:684 PDT] FileSystemValidator : Is directory : /Users/jas/Development/opensso/tryout/apache-tomcat-6.0.14 valid ? true
    [05/24/2008 13:06:37:686 PDT] HomeDirValidator : Is $CATALINA_HOME directory /Users/jas/Development/opensso/tryout/apache-tomcat-6.0.14 valid ? false
    [05/24/2008 13:06:37:686 PDT] Invalid CATALINA_HOME directory : /Users/jas/Development/opensso/tryout/apache-tomcat-6.0.14This directory does indeed exist, and is accessible by the user I'm logged in as. It appears FileSystemValidator agrees with me, but HomeDirValidator has a problem. I tried this on both Ubuntu 6.04 and Mac OS X 10.5.2. Does this indicate that Tomcat 6 is not supported? Or is it indicative that neither OS on which I've tried to install the agent is officially supported?
    Thanks!
    Jeff

    Hi Denis:
    Before being redirected to another short term task, I did indeed get the Tomcat 6 agent to work. I probably won't be able to look at OpenSSO again seriously for another couple of months. :(
    I have the OpenSSO server running on Tomcat 6.0.14 on Ubuntu 6.x Linux running in a virtual machine on my Mac. I was not able to get the server to run directly on the Mac, and I cannot remember the reason at this time.
    But, as far as the agent goes, I run it again using Tomcat 6.0.14 on my Mac (Mac OS X 10.5.2), using the 1.5 JRE. I do have the agentapp war deployed as well as the agentsample web application to play with. In my catalina.out file:

    I checked out the source code for the Tomcat v6 agent (2.2) on May 27, so I don't know how that compares to yours or what's been checked into CVS since my build. I also don't know what the OpenSSO NamingService is.
    I assume you used fully qualified domain names to specify the web application to be protected by agent as well as the OpenSSO server itself. The following is the output of the conversation when I run the agent installer script on my system. It has been redacted a bit (domain name and encryption key) to protect my client, but otherwise this is what I supplied to the installer:

  • Apache 2.0 data service.

    Sun provides Apache data service with Sun Cluster 3.1 Agent CD.
    Nowere in the documentation for the Apache agent (data service) I have found which versions of Apache this agens supports (other then apache package provided with it). Any ideas if this producht will work "out of the box" with Apache 2.0 +mod_ssl?
    Have somody tried that ? Does it requires much "tweeking" ?
    Thanks
    Sergey.

    I am experiencing the same issue.
    I implemented the 'chunked file loading' example from Kris Rice's blog at Kris' blog: August 2013 in y workspace at the Oracle hosted APEX site and everything works fine.
    However, I get a null value for 'data' when I implement the same example at my work site.
    Work Site config is
    Apache Tomcat 7
    Oracle REST Data Services version : 2.0.6.27.18.06
    Application Express 4.2.2.00.11
    Oracle RDBMS 11.2.0.3
    I am NOT using SSL at my work site. However this does not seem to affect a POST with form values.

  • Setup-Problem while installing AM Policy Agent 2.1 on Solaris 10

    I'm new with AccessManager and try to get it working on Solaris 10 on a Sparc.
    I'm using LDAP-Server, WEB-Server 6.1 and AccessManager from the software-paket: "Sun Java System Access Manager 6 2005Q1" .
    While trying to install policy-agents on the Sparc (by starting setup program), I've got the message: "The installer ist intended for Solaris Operating System only".
    The agent-software I'm trying to install is "Access Manager Policy Agent 2.1 for Sun Java System Web Server 6.1" From there I choosed "Solaris SPARC 8".
    (so I've got the paket "S1WebServer_6[1].1_agent_2.1_sparc-sun-solaris2.8.tar.gz").
    In my opinion, it must be correct. Ist there anything i'done wronge?
    thanks, Paul

    Even when there is no agent available for Solaris 10 now:
    If you don't have any doubt to use an unsupported configuration, at
    least the apache agent is installable.
    You have to extract the packages "SUNWamapc" and "SUNWcom"
    from the tar-archive and install it using pkgadd.
    Then, you have to configure it manually ("include" in "httpd.conf",
    "AMAgent.properties").
    Maybe, it is possible to do something similiar with the agent for
    SUN webserver.
    Be aware that noone will guarantee that such unsupported
    installations won't raise any problems.

  • Error in the input config file

    Continue message previous.
    I need deploy my application "notitia". Return message:
    Failed to deploy web application "notitiancm". Error in the input config file. Attribute Options is a single value attribute.

    Don't use EMwebsite. It's SLOW and buggy. I disabled mine.
    You can see a lot more error messages using dcmctl:
    bin/emctl stop
    dcm/bin/dcmctl shell
    deployapplication -a myapp -f myapp.ear -co home
    geterror
    You can also check dcm's and opmn's log files for errors.
    Your error message sounds familiar. If you have manually edited http.conf and added multiple entries of ProxyPass or SetEnvIf or who knows what else, you come across an iAS feature. This ias903 core for win2k file
    $ORACLE_HOME/dcm/config/plugins/apache/modDirectiveMS.xsd
    is no good.
    You have to change things like these to maxOccurs="unbounded":
    <element name="SetEnvIf" type="string" minOccurs="0"
    maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
    Then do a
    dcmctl updateconfig.
    You can find the problem description in Meta-link ohs forum. Apparently the problem will be fixed in 904 but I don't know why we all have to go thru this rite of passage in the mean time... A waste of time.

    Hi Amit Garg,
    <data-sources>
    <data-source type = "org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource" key = "DBA">
    </data-source>
    <data-sources>
    <data-source type = "org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource" key = "AISDEV">
    </data-source>
    </data-sources>
    u just configure ur struts-config.xml file in the above manner and use the following steps in ur action servlet to retrive the DataSource object
    getDatasource(request,"DBA") for accessing first datasource
    getDatasource(request,"AISDEV") for accessing second datasource.

    and then associate them with apache config..
    http://tinyurl.com/yzjpsl
    But the instances are all started but I have two problems.
    1. I cant find the CF administrator for all the sites
    2. I can go to each instance administrator page but not the
    main one and also apache does not resolve the VHosts.
    Thus if I type in the full domain for one of the instance
    sites then I get the page not found..
    SO assume my problem is with apache config since the instance
    sites are started and I can access them on the LAN.
    This is my changes I made to the config of apache..
