Regarding Shift Activation In ECC 6.0
Hi, We are implementating ECC6.0 in our company. We have downloaded the Ecc6.0 enchnacement pacakages from service markets and applied it but still the shift is bnot being actives in confirmation screen
Please helps us in tghis regards
Bhupendra singhHi,
You have to execute following stpes to reflect shift in co11n
01 SPRO : OPK4 select freely definable screen number & put shift in pushbutton. This will only display shift on conn screen ( No input values)
02 ABAP Activity; Create new append structure in table AFRU ,include components & allowed values( shift 1,2,3),activate user exit confpp07 ,activate function group for screen 900.
03. Change screen layout as per requirement in se51.
this will make entry of shift possible in co11n as well as saving in table for reports.

Regarding Shifts in a work center
Hi experts,
I am facing an issue regarding the shift in workcenter.
I have done all the prerequisite settings in spro like
1. defing a grouping key,
2 defining work break schedule key,
3.definining shift definition,
4.defining shift sequence
now is there something called shift pattern key which does the shift changing on the desired basis like monthly or daily or weekly.
i have created one for my requirement.but whenever I am aasigning my grouping key to the workcenter only one shift reflect in the system.
So can you please help me.
Regards,
VivekHi Vivek,
This seems to be a different question all together,you have to create new thread for each question to get proper/prompt reply
First of all before cerating an inspection plan,you have to first decide what type of inspection you want to do
You can find the std inspection types in the QM view of the material master under Insp.setup
Then maintain the respective inspection type
like Inspection after GR from production
After that create inspection plan for the material in QP01 tcode
Before that you should have inspection characteristics created(MIC's)
It is created in QS21 tcode,here you will have to mention whether its qualitative or quantitative & input data accordingly
In QP01 you have to maintain the usage accordingly like 5,6 etc
Rest is like normal routing
In case of inproces inspection you dont need to create a seperate inspection plan,you can maintain the same in the production routing with MIC's
Hope this hepls

Hi all experts.
I hv a querry regarding the shift schedule.. i hv various shift schedule.like shift A- 6am-2pm, shift B- 2pm-10pm, shift C - 10pm-6am, shift D- 8am-5pm etc.. now i want a new shift schedule for e.g. shift E- shift Ashift B, *shift F- shift A shift C*.. can this be possible? if yes, kindly guide me how it will be done.
Thanx n Regards,
S.KumarYes it is possible. You can add these additional shifts in the DWS and assign it to the existing personnel subarea groupings fpr Work schedule and DWS or may be the different grouping as per the requirement.
Then create PWS using the new shifts in the table V_T551A, assign public holiday calendar and generate work schedule rules in the table V_T508A.
Can u be a bit more clear on your requirement so that the personnel subarea groupings can be decided? -
hi all
i am using key constraint, i want to use shift , for this im using characters values 14 and 15 (SI and SO) but shift is not working not working.
thanks in advanceI'm not sure I understand. Is this a swing app and you are using a KeyListener? is so, the KeyEvent has a getKeyCode() method. Just check the KeyCode in the keyPressed event
text.addKeyListener(new KeyListener(){
public void keyPressed(KeyEvent e) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
if(e.getKeyCode() == KeyEvent.VK_SHIFT)
System.out.println("Shift");
//System.out.println(KeyEvent.getKeyModifiersText(mods));
public void keyReleased(KeyEvent e) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
public void keyTyped(KeyEvent e) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
}});I'm sure another poster will improve on this.

Specifying coherence-cache-config.xml for multiple clusters
Hi,
I am running two cache clusters (Cluster A and B that hold different cache types). we have a web application that needs to communicate with both the clusters. we have two coherence-cache-config-g.xml files, one for each cluster.
where do we specify the two coherence-cache-config.xml for each of these clusters in our coherence.jar that we deploy on the web app server.
pls provide some inputs...
thanks in advance,
- G.Hi G,
You can define a path to the cache configuration descriptor in your operation configuration override file (tangosol-coherence=override.xml) or specify it in the system property "tangosol.coherence.cacheconfig".
Please see this Wiki page for details:

Want to learn more about shift registers and formula nodes
I am new to Labview and have looked at the example files and help files regarding shift registers and formula nodes. I was hoping that someone has a simple and detailed VI expaining how each of them(shift registers and formula nodes) works.
Formula nodes are not one of the first things you will need to be looking at. look at the help files (press ctrl-H) for some syntax examples. Shift registers are easy: they carry the value from the end of the loop back into the start of the loop. The great power of shift registers is to use them without initializing. In that case they will retain their last value as long as the vi is in memory. This is a little more advanced topic, though.
I included a simple example that illustrates what a shift register does. Requires Labview 7.1
Good luck,
aartjan

Shift patterns for work centers
Hi,
I have question regarding shift patterns for work centers. We are actually utilizing the work centres in a aftermarket setup (service jobs). What we would like to do is to add shift patters to the work centers which look similar to this:
Mo-Su 07:00-19:00, Mo-Su 19:00-07:00 4days on/4 days off/4 days on/4days off. As you see we would like it to be a rolling schedule so the first 4 working days the day shift, then 4 days off, then the next working days the night shift and so on.
Is there a way of simplyfying this setup? The length of the cycle can only be set to a maximum of 7 days meaning I can not create a rolling schedule in a simple way. I do know that I can manually add intervals with say a seven day cycle and defining the working hours and additional create shift for holding predefined working hours and breaks.
I have looked at shift sequences but that doesn't seem to be helpful in this scenario? The sequence seems only to be used as a sequence on a daily basis.
If anyone has solution for this or if you have any thought on how to process I would be very thankful if you shared these.
Thanks in advance

Problem in using the shift Register
I have a problem regarding shift register when i was using it in my application.
During the runing of the application i found that sometime shift register not pass the value to the case structure. at that time result is not displayed.
i have attached the application in which that problem occur and the process regarding the execution, how bug produce and how to check where the shift register stop. please find the attachment and reply on the same.
Attachments:
Shift Register Checking Application.zip 173 KBI'm sorry but I don't understand your program. I only see one shift register in Result Display.vi.
What I do see is a lot of odd constuctions of while loops that only run once in your Main.VI. Also, a heavy reliance on global and local variables that I suspect are leading to race conditions.
Have you tried using the debugging tools such as probes and highlight execution to see our your application is behaving?
I'd also be concerned about how you have "Lock Front Panel Until Event Completes" in the cases of your event structure. And those event call other subVI's that may take a while to run and rely on user interaction with the front panel. I also don't understand why when I hit "OK", the subVI front panel remains open. It just makes running your application that much more confusing. -

Cn=config missing in OUD installation
Hi,
I tried installing OUD on Windows 7 and on Suse Linux 11. However I find that cn=config is missing from their installations. I saw this link about possible bug, however even after provide appropriate permission, i do NOT see the issue getting resolved.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, PamelaHi
The cn=config is visible from the admin port (default 4444), not from the regular ldap port (1389 in your case).
Try the same search (over SSL) to the admin port as directory admin. You will get the config

WLS 8.1 issue with .ear deployment ....
I think the weblogic8.1 seems to have some NEW bug now. We have a .ear file that
works just PERFECT in WLS6.1. But now when we try to DEPLOY this .ear file our
WLS8.1 server(via the new look and feel of WLS8.1' console)....we are getting
the Exception like ...."pl read inline below":
...All i know is that WLS 8.1 has introduced something like : "single J2EEC -

it may be because of this ????
If somebody has any idea ....please let me know asap ...and just above the EXCEPTION
we are also getting something like ...."Deployment descriptor "/WEB-INF/ups-html.tld"
is malformed" ....what is going wrong now ?
Please note again ....this .ear file just work PERFECT in WLS6.1+sp2.

Thanks Rob, I understood changing the DOCTYPE ...and i will give ita try.
And iam assuming you might have read my previous response in this chain,Iam using
WLS6.1 & WLS8.1 BOTH on the same hardware unix server....iam just wonderingif
there is any CLASSPATH issue that might have been causing this NoClassDefFoundError......?
just wanted to let you know that iam running WLS6.1 + WLS8.1 on thesame BOX.
I will try other options that you have suggested ....thanks again !

Rob,
Right, you're referencing the Taglib 1.2 DTD, but your tld file conforms
to the Taglib 1.1 DTD. You'll either need to change the DOCTYPE
definition to the Taglib 1.1 DTD or change the tld file to conformto
the 1.2 DTD. how do i do either of the 2 options ?To change your taglib to be the 1.1 DTD you just need to change the
DOCTYPE header to be
<!DOCTYPE taglib
PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD JSP Tag Library 1.1//EN"
"http://java.sun.com/j2ee/dtds/web-jsptaglibrary_1_1.dtd">
Otherwise, you'll need to change the tld file to be JSP 1.2 compliant.
If you post your tld file here, then I can help.
Iam just guessing here, is it may be due to this DTD/.tld issue thatiam not been
able to DEPLOY the .ear file(now that wls8.1 checks the validity beforedeloying
the app)....are the 2 errors that iam getting, in any ways inter-related?
I'm not sure they're related. It is possible.
i.e is it possible that due to DTD/.tld ....am i getting this NoClassDefFoundError
JUST CURIOUS ???
WELL THANKS FOR YOUR TIME ON THIS ...REALLY APPRECIATE IT !
No problem.

3) I will try placing the struts-util.jar in the WEB-INF/lib directoryof the
ABL.war file. And I will let you if it works or not ?Right. My guess is this is a bug in WLS 8.1. I can see no reasonwhy
the manifest class-path isn't working for you. That's why I askedif
you could send the EAR file so I could investigate, but I understand
that's not always possible.
I suspect the WEB-INF/lib will work, but it's just a workaround.
I'm
not sure if you're using 8.1 or 8.1SP1, but if you're not using SP1,
then you might consider trying that. (java weblogic.version willtell
you.)

Anyway, check the first line of your tld file. It should look

As for the NoClassDefFoundError, you'll have to provide some
