Regards,
Raj

Hi,
Please go through the below link.
http://www.freesaptutorial.com/how-to-create-master-inspection-characteristic-in-sap-qm-module/
While creating the MIC in QS21 after entering the control indicators you will get Quantitative data screen.
In that screen you can enter the decimal places, UOM, target, lower limits etc

  • Date format in Master inspection characteristics

    Hi All
I have a requirement where my user wants to enter the date format in the master inspection characteristic. For example we want to add date of manufacture and the date of expiree as a inspection characteristics and during the results recording they want to enter this characteristics in a date format.
MY question is can we have a master inspection characteristic with a date format, if so what all the settings are required.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks,
    Quantum.

Direct characteristic you can't use in inspection plan. If you want to use characteristic in IP then create chara. (CT04), then assign this charac. as class chanr.(QS21) in MIC. Now you can use this MIC in inspection plan.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks!!!

  • Config settings for making Inbound delivery instead of TR

    Hi,
Scenario- Plant to plant stock transfer from Non WM plant to WM enabled Plant. Material document is posted and quant lies in st type 920.
In the current system settings it creates TR automatically (Path - WM-interfaces-IM-define MVT - LE WM interface to IM - field Create TR)
Question - Instead of system creating TR, I want Inbound dely to be created. What are the config settings to be done?
    Regards.

First, you need to work against Stock Transfer Purchase Orders with confirmation control 0004 - Inbound delivery for every item in the STO.
    So the process steps are:
    1. Create STO for plant to plant with confirmation control 0004 at item level (assuming that relevant configuration is available in MM-Purchasing)
    2. Create outbound delivery from issuing plant and issue the goods.
    3. Create Inbound delivery using transaction VL31N (you can automate this if you have SAP ECC 6.0)

  • Config settings for Closed indicator in PR

    Dera experts ,
I want the system to automatically set the "closed " indicator in PR "quantity/Dates" tab , once a PO has been generated ( fully/partially ordered)
Can anyone tell me the settings for the same ??
      Regards
      Anis

    Hi frnd,
I dont think so that there is any such config for "closed" tick.
We have to manually set the tick either in ME52N or buyer can set the tick at the time of PO creation.
In ME21N ( buyer have to goto Item Detail - Delivery Schedule -  Click PR closure tab).
Or you can Create a BDC and create a Z program and Z t-code and ask user to run the same for bulk PR line item closure.
    I hope this will help.
lets see what others have to say about it.

    Hi,
If you want to use with WRITE statement:
    Effect of different DECIMALS specifications:
    DATA: X TYPE P DECIMALS 3 VALUE '1.267',
    Y TYPE F VALUE '125.456E2'.

  • Config settings for continuous Inv.

    Dear all ,
I want the settings for Continuous Inventory Buisness Process, So what are the prerequisite & postrequisite
setting to achieve this buisness processs.
    Please help me out.
    Regards,
    Rock

If you meant cycle counting, here is text from config.
    Tcode: OMCO
This is for Inventory managed at Sloc level. If you are using WM, it's more complicated.
    Cycle Counting
In this step, you complete the system settings for the physical inventory method of cycle counting by defining the individual cycle counting indicators for the given plant.
The cycle counting indicators are used to group the materials together into individual categories.
    Recommendation
Normally, the cycle counting indicators are assigned when an ABC analysis is run. However, different indicators can be defined, if necessary.
    Activities
    1. Define the allowed cycle counting indicators in the plant.
    2. Make the required settings for each indicator.
Remember that the total of the percentages must be 100 if you want to assign the indicator to the individual materials as part of an ABC analysis.

  • Needed config settings for automatic storage location

    hi,
    sap gurus,
configuration settings needed for automatic storage location at sales order level.
it is coming by using OVL3 at delivery document level.
but we need it sales order level.
    regards,
    balaji.t

    Hi Balaji,
In standard Storage location cannot be defaulted in Sales order. OVL3 is for determining the storage location in Delivery.
However to map your requirement of having Storage location determination in the Sales order do the following:
In the Plant Setting IMG> Enterprise Structure> Definition> Logistics - General> Define, copy, delete, check plant. Here select your plant and go to Address for this plant. Here in Search term 2 Maintain some alphabet say "A". Now ask your ABAPer to write a user exit for determining the Storage location if the Sales order has the same Plant used in it with search term as "A" then use table V_TVKOL (storage location determination table) and fetch the correct storage location based on Shipping Point + Plant + Storage conditions.
Hope the same works for you!!

    Ajinkya

  • Where are the about:config settings for a profile stored?

I am setting up a custom firefox profile and would like to tweak some of the options that are accessed via about:config.
I would like to know where this information is stored and whether I am able to modify these options outside of the browser.

Thanks, I was modifying the prefs.js file the whole time but didn't realize these were the same settings from about:config. The user.js file is also useful to know.

  • TR priority (LTBK-TBPRI) - where are the config. settings for this ?

    Because I can't find it !
    Thanks,
    Nick

As for value for the field:
Yes, if you check the value range for data type TBPRI you will see that there are neither fixed values nor config table behind it. In this case I think only the data type restricts which values can be inputted into the field.
In case of TRs you can use this priority for selection e.g. in LB10.
I guess this indicator might be important e.g. in programs which processes TRs, PCNs, deliveries, TOs in mass (system may take care of the sequence based on this like there are hints in OSS notes 1360335, 312656)
Mayeb someone who uses this indicator can give more information / explanation.
(I used it only once to prioritize TRs in connection with PrdOrds)

  • How do I set the about:config settings for all users? iprism keeps prompting from authentication for users.

When users log on and try to open Firefox 23.0.1, users are prompted with Iprism Authentication. We made changes to the firefox about:config values "network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow.-non-fqdn" and "Network.negotiate-auth.allow-non-fqdn" to true and it works, but only works on a per user basis. How can we set this up for all users?

I would think the about:config entries discussed are ex-factory set to values each user has to change individually, after the installation has run its course. The solution could be to have patched files ready to install post factum:

  • BEx reports_Format for decimal places

Currently in reports the amounts I am showing  are USD1000.00, JPY1000.00 etc. Is there any way that I can show USD1000.00, JPY1000 ? There are some more currencies like JPY where I would not like to show .00 decimals.

    Hi Marco,
in general it is possible to set the decimals for KF (properties). However, I don't think it would be possible to set different decimals for one KF depending on "unit" or "currency".
In other words, if you have one KF amount for USD and another KF for JPY, you can set the decimals as you wish.
    Hope it helps.

  • BOM Component quantity decimal places

    Hi... All..
how & where to maintain settings for decimal places for component quantity in a BOM..??
eg.,  Base unit of measure is KG n base quantity is 1KG
component quantity is o.5KG... at present system is not accepting decimal places....
    waiting for reply,
    with rgrds
    L Narayana

    Hi,
enter the no of decimal places in CUNI .
then , in CS02 - enter the qty as 0,05 and not as 0.05 (use comma instead of fullstop and it will not throw any error) pls check.
you can change this using this path also
in the SAP user menu System->User profile-> Own data in the Default value tab page you can find the decimal notation
The same topic was discussed earlier in this forum.
How to maintain BOM quantity in decimal (i.e.0.5 kg) instead of Round valu

I know that I am only be able to incerase these but it's a virgin database for a customer with no data imported.

"cannot update while another user is connected to the company"
But I checked all sessions connected to this database. I am the only person that is logged in.
I closed the db more that one time but it doesn't work.
    Can you help me please?

    Hello Meike,
I have had this problem a while ago and it was caused by the RPD-connection i had made with the customer server.

  • Getting an error in CIF Inbound queue:"Only 0 decimal places are permitted for unit of measure PC"

    Hi,
I am getting an error in CIF Inbound queue (function: CIF_ORDER_INBOUND_30A). The error text says "Only 0 decimal places are permitted for unit of measure PC".
Can anyone point out the solution to resolve this error? It would be a big help for me as I am new to APO and so getting difficult to find a clue for it.
    Thanks.
    Regards
    Mansi

    Hi Mansi,
Please check the cif queue you will get the order number from that order number you can find out material code. Then check the material master unit of measure in MM03 you have used some alternative unit of measure and system is unable to convert order to  alternative unit of measure because of decimal setting. If you go to CUNI and check the unit if measure PC it is not permitted for decimal places. If you need decimal than change the UoMof Material and use diff UoM or allow the decimal for PC which is not good practice.
