  • WEBLOGIC MANGED SERVER HEALTH STATE IS UNKNOWN

    Dear Team,
I am working as support engineer in a production environment.
I am facing some issue described below:
    1. One of Weblogic managed server health state is WARNING. I have checked in managed server log and found below error:
        <Jun 22, 2014 5:13:37 AM IST> <Error> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000337> <[STUCK] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)' has been busy for "7,222" seconds working on the request "Workmanager: nlsi/wm/MarshallerWorkManager, Version: 0, Scheduled=true, Started=true, Started time: 7222299 ms
", which is more than the configured time (StuckThreadMaxTime) of "7,200" seconds. Stack trace:
As the Health is in warning state managed server become fully unresponsive.
    Now I have following query:
    1. What is the risk if managed server health state is WARNING?
    2. Is Stuck thread will make the server go into an Unknown state?
    3. If managed server state in UNKNOWN then what is the risk?
    3. Could you please provide any solution so that in future we should not face this WARNING health state.
    4. Could you please investigate why this health state WARNING occur?
    Please help me.

  • Outboxes/Stat.box backlog on Management Points

I have an SCCM infrastructure with a number of management points.  I am having a problem where clients are not reporting the status of their software distribution back to the primary site.  The software seems to install properly, but the deployment
has no status messages after the deployment was originally created.  Under Deployment Status, they all read "Status information is currently unavailable for this deployment".  I have tried to "Run Summarization" but no change.
I looked closed at my management points and I see that the outboxes/stat.box folder is filled with MTMP files.  If I open the files with Notepad it looks like these are related to the deployments as they have a package ID and a program name in them.
I do not see any errors in my log files for the MP though.  Everything looks like it is churning properly, but these files just keep stacking up.
I am having a lot of trouble finding any documentation on this particular outbox or the files themselves.  Can anyone point me to a flowchart that depicts what this process looks like and the associated log files?  Any assistance would be appreciated.

There is only one entry in the view where the FeatureType = 2 (software deployment I believe) where there are success or inProcess values.  Everything else shows NumberUnknown = NumberTotal.  Other deployments for OSD (FeatureType = 7) show properly
and Software Updates (I think, FeatureType = 5) are showing numbers for Success and In Process.  It looks like the problem may just be with status messages on software deployments.

  • Management Point fails after installing SCCM 2012 SP1

I'm carrying out an install of SCCM 2012 SP1 with the following hardware (fresh install not an upgrade from 2007)

I've tried uninstalling MP and reinstalling, triple checked all the right pre-reqs in Roles and Features are enabled, even rebuilt the server from scratch and tried again but same result.
Would really appreciate some help if anyone's fixed this issue

  • Cleanup disk space on SCCM Management point server

    Hi all
I have a SCCM 2007 infrastructure with 1 primary site and three secondary sites.
The disk data D of a sccm management point of one secondary site is full.
Is it possible cleanup data from a sccm tool??
    Regards
    Christian

if you have other drives with enough space, you can create no_sms_on_drive.SMS and place it on the root folder to avoid storing the packages.

  • Management Point will not install

    Hi,
I am using Windows Server 2012, SQL 2012 with cu2 and SCCM 2012 sp1, and I have one Primary site which will host all site roles.
I am trying to install the Management Point (using HTTPS for client connections) but it fails.
I did have the SCCM 2007 client install on this server which was delivering windows updates and FEP 2010 to the server, so after seeing a similar proplem reported and looking throught the msisetup log which said a previous version was detected, I used ccmsetup
/uninstall to remove the client (which gets rid of it from control panel), and then removed the MP, rebooted and tried to install the MP again. However, the MP still wont install

  • Operations Manager powershell health check on specific items

    Hello,
I am trying to write up a Operations Manager PowerShell script that runs automatically and checks the current health status of a group object but only the health status of certain columns listed in the Operations Manager such as "Agent" or "Windows
Server 2008 Logical Disk". I have written up the following after setting the group object whose health I wish to check in Operations Manager to "$gp". Also note I am only looking for systems in that group object that show an unhealthy state
hence I put in the "Where-Object" to look for anything that is not showing a healthy status.
    Get-SCOMMonitoringObject -Group $gp | select HealthState,Displayname | Where-Object {$_.HealthState -notlike "Success"}
This brings back the overall health state of each system in the group object but I do not want the overall health. I wish to only see the health status of say the "Windows Server 2003 Operating System" column in Operations Manager for those systems.
I would like to know if there is a simple way to accomplish this using the built in Powershell cmdlets which come with Operations Manager when it installs. If I could also get an example of what the syntax of this would look like that would be a great help.
    Thanks!

    Thank you for the responses!
I am currently running the 2012 edition of System Center Operations Manager.

Alexey Zhuravlev runs for me but it does not seem to be passing anything through for the health state. All I get is a list of the system names but no health state. I believe this is because the Get-SCOMClass cmdlet does not have a "HealthState"
field to pass. It does have a "Status" field which I am wondering if that might work for me if I pipe in maybe the name of the system I would like to view.
I will continue on and play around with what I have so far.
Any further help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Internet based management of SCCM clients and management points ?

We have an SCCM backend infrastructure which is used to manage what is in affect multiple external organizations over the internet.  Currently each SCCM client is managed by the primary server directly over the internet.
Am I right that we could place a configmgr management point on the internal networks and for the clients to talk to this server when connected to the company network instead of all clients getting patched across the internet connection ?  Meaning that
just the MP would communicate with our backend infrastructure ?

So your internal clients are now connecting over the internet to the local MP? How does this setup look like exactly? How were the clients installed (parameters)?

  • MBAM 2.5 integration broke my Primary Site Server - Managment Point http status code 404, not found

I uninstalled MBAM 2.0 and installed MBAM 2.5. During 2.5 installation there was this one section to enter "Web service application pool domain account", where I entered domain admin account. I don´t know if that has any effect on this problem.
Though, situation now is that my site is now out of order because of Management Point cannot connect to IIS or something like that.
In status messages I see "MP Control Manager detected management point is not responding to HTTP requests.  The HTTP status code and text is 404, Not Found. Message ID 5436".
In mpcontrol.log I see Call to HttpSendRequestSync failed for port 80 with status code 404, text: Not Found
    I have tried:
Bindings checked, that http uses port 80
MP component is uninstalled and reinstalled succsessfully
Primary site server has restarted several times
In IIS, Default Site -> SMS_MP->Basic Settings I did "Test Settings". With pass-through authentification it cannot Access the D:\SMS_CCM path, I changed to the domain admin, and it succseed. I have no idea, does this have something to do
    with it.

I have experienced all the above problems also and they can be a pain to fix. I guess the moral of the story is (as Andy says) leave the ConfigMgr server alone. If you want an MBAM server then build an MBAM server.

Hmm, I guess ConfMgr integration will not be the problem if your MP is using http(80) and MBAM will use https(443). If you then set spn to https, it will use 443 as-is, right? But other custom ports might be the problem?

  • Management Point created using Powershell will error CM Console when viewing properties

    Greetings,
We have an established ConfigMgr 2012 R2 CU3 environment with several Primaries and management points already active. These were all installed manually using the CM Console.
I am now trying to add additional Management Points using Powershell using the command:
Add-CMManagementPoint -enablessl -sitecode "ABC" -sitesystemservername "MPservername.domain.com" -allowdevice -clientconnectiontype internetandintranet -generatealert -verbose
The PS completes without error, the MPSetup.log and MPControl.log indicate all is well once the setup completes
The MP appears as a component under the Server when viewing in the console
The IIS logs show clients communicating fine and the CM component Status monitor is all green with no errors showing in the status message
A Get-CMManagementPoint returns fine showing all the same details as other working MP's
However if I try to view the properties of the Management Point from the console, the console will error
If I click Continue it will open the properties but they don't appear correctly. The "sitedatabase" tab is missing and the mobile device and generate alert boxes aren't selected. If I click Quit the then console crashes.
So everything appears to be working, except for being able to view the actual properties through the console.

It doesn't appear to give a specific error

  • Error adding Management Point over Win2008 SP2 x86

    Hi,
    I am using SCCM 2012 R2.
I am trying to install an additional management point over Windows 2008 Enterprise SP2 x86. The prerequisites was installed based on the following article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682077.aspx#BKMK_SiteSystemRolePrereqs
    The error is the following:
Site Component Manager detected that the site server does not contain the binary files for the platform (processor architecture) of site system "\\SERVER2.MYDOMAIN.COM". Possible cause: When installing this site, you did not specify that the binary
files for this site system's platform should be installed on the site server.
Solution: Use Configuration Manager Setup to modify the configuration of this site. When asked to select the server platforms for this site, select this site system's platform
The following article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682077.aspx#BKMK_SupConfigSiteRoleReqs states that a MP can be installed over a Windows 2008 SP2 x86,x64 server (Standard, Enterprise or Datacenter).
The first SCCM server is local admin at Win2008 Server (server I need to be second MP).
    The question is:
What is the procedure to install a MP over Windows 2008 SP2 x86 server?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
Your MP's have the right ports open and the right pre-reqs installed?
Have you checked the log files MP*.log?
