    I am facing an issue with UK maternity levae. Employee is on leave from 16th of this month and there are 18 working days in this month. so employee should be paid for 8 days which she has worked. But in system it is getting paid for 10 days. Payable OMP is getting deducted from employees total pay.Employee is getting SMP for this month as well.
    My question is.
    1. what is payable OMP and how is it calculated.
    2. Why is it getting deducted from employees salary.

    Thanks for the link.. In my scenario the amount which should get paid is actually getting deducted from employees pay.
    The Scenerio is like this. An employee has gone onto Maternity Leave effective the 16/1/2012. The calculation should be 8752.50 / 18 (all working days in the month) x 8 actual working days in the month = 3890.00 normal pay for January, not 8752.50 u2013 3890 which equates to 4862.50.
    Employee works 4 days a week. Please let me know why the system is calculating an amount of 4862.50 instead of 3890.

    Querry the Leave Type in a rule....
    If the value of the rule is anything other than zero ..then make then directly pass all the wage types to the next line..without being processed through XVAL or ZVAL....

  • Infotype 80, Maternity leaves: Sort Order of table control

    I'd like to know if there is a way to sort the table control in Infotype 80 which shows the absences linked to the birth by Date of absence, instead of Code of absence,

    I dont think it is possible through standard config.
    Use userexit PBAS0001 (funciton module EXIT_SAPFP50M_001 and include ZXPADU01).
    And ask your ABAPer to sort internal table P2001 by date.

  • Issue with muliti level custom Leave Workflow

    Hi,
       our Leave Workflow is multi level Approvals based on Absence codes.
       Say for Example : Case 1: For casual leave 2 Level Approval,
                                  Case 2: For Sick Leave 1 Level Approval,
                                  Case 3: For Maternity leave 3 Level Approval.
      The Workflow is working fine for Case 1 and Case 2. Workflow is Getting Completed. No issues at all here.
      The Issue is with Maternity Leave there are 3 level of approvals Manager 1, Manager 2, Manager 3.
       First 2 Managers are able to approve it from portal and for third level approval the work item is going to Manager 3's UWL.
       But when we click on work item it is showing the message like your Work list is Empty.
       Even we have forwarded the work item to Manager 2 and Manager 1 using SWIA. From their UWL also we are getting this same message
       your Work list is Empty.
       Observations:
          Request status is in SENT status.
           Visualization parameters are fine.
           Agent is Ready.
           In R3 Level we are not able to see the worklist details in Approval mode in PTARQ tcode for Manager 3,
          For Manager 1 & Manager 2 it is fine there we had approved in PTARQ.
    Here are the Screen shots.
         What Could be the issues? Are we missing something?
         Ideas and Suggestions are welcome

    Can you please give a screen shot of the technical workflow log with the step history selected for this step? (ensure that you have tried executing it once from UWL and rcd the same message), then get to the backend WF log).
    Also, is the same Workflow task sent to all three levels in a loop or is it a different task at level 3?
    Is there any deadline monitoring assigned to the task (for third level)?

    Hi Umesh,
    The node that you are pointing to is for customizing type of absence, in business process it is called Absence Type which in HR translated to Subtype for infotype 2001. In ITS version, you can customized this table to launch different Absence (e.g. Annual leave, Bank Holiday, Maternity Leave, etc) to launch different workflow.
    For my case, the employee has already submitted the leave request, and decided to cancel the leave which has already been apply.
    In Workflow it will be easy if this 2 process generates 2 different events, but in ECC6 environment of the ESS it does not generate events but calling a standard workflow as stated in this thread topic.

  • KIT days in Maternity absence

    Hello,
    I want to enter some KIT ( Keep in touch days ) for an employee who is on Maternity Leave.  This is a legal change for the new tax year 2007-08 and have a solution if we wish to use SAP Standard.  But, I want to create 2 new absence types to enter KIT days, but not accepting the absence entry with this absence type and occuring collision in Maternity period.
    Please can anyone let me know how this KIT days will work in GBSXP Phase II.

    Did you create the absence types as per SAP Note 988882?
    We have found an issue with offsetting of KIT days - doesn't do it for SxP only for OxP.
    My test entries on IT15 looks like...
    24.07.2007 28.12.2007  0600     Maternity leave                  114.00

    HI,
    I am filling the leave details like "From" & "To" date, selecting leave type etc. When I click "Next" button, I am getting an error message like "A compiled version of the formula 324 cannot be found.. Check that it exists and compiled..."
    I just copied the formula from "TEMPLATE ABSENCE DURATION" into "BG_ABSENCE_DURATION" (created new formula name with "Quickpaint" type)
    How to overcome this error?

    You can use quota deduction and user exit and read dates from 0041 for his entry date in company

  • GB - Paying SMP to a leaver.

    Hi,
    Consider the following scenario for Great Britain. An employee is off work due to maternity leave. She has entitlement to be paid SMP, and then she leaves the work. According with the HM Revenue the employer has to pay SMP until the end of the maternity period.
    My question is: Is there any way of paying the whole amount in one time? Does SAP consider that situation?

    Doug, I appreciate your input, however re-installing OSX is exactly what I DON'T want to do. Not only would it take an extended amount of time to update from 10.4.6 to 10.4.10 but importing files from the old hard disk comes nowhere near copying over every modification I've made to my system. The idea here, as I would think with anyone upgrading their hard drive with a perfectly working system, is to increase disk space and just keep right on going without missing a step. WIth all due respect your suggestion is absolutely the wrong advice in this situation. The last time I took such advice, I found myself missing many of the system helper applications allowing me to access hardware and software and all of it had to be reinstalled as I discovered things were no longer working as they should have. I DO NOT recommend re-installing OS X to anyone wishing to upgrade their drive, unless you are having problems with your system or just want to clean house. Apple should understand this. The bug thing on the install disk is just one of the many headaches involved in this process. My understanding was that I cannot make a disk image from the install disk was well as being unable to restore. However, if that's possible, then I could have done what I wanted without using a third party "shareware" solution. I will check it out and report back. Call me paranoid, but I would prefer to keep my data backup in the hands of those who formatted it originally, i.e. Apple. I would happily use a proven commercial utility, but for something as routine as upgrading my hard disk, I shouldn't have to pay to do it. Time was, if Apple had a bug in their startup utility disk, they would have corrected the error and sent a replacement to all registered users. Time was.

    Hi Experts,
    I am working on one issue for Leaves. Currently company has configured Maternity leaves for 18 weeks as unpaid leave. Now according to new requirement they want to give 80% top up on this maternity leave.
    How i can configure this in the system?
    Now other question is I am not able to find out this leave type in absence types and even in T554S.
    But when i go to Pa40 and run the action LOA Unpaid, i can able to find Maternity as a reason for action.
    Please explain me is there any relation of this actions and leave types.If they run actions then how i need to do changes according to requirement?
    Please guide me.

    For your information, company maintain custom infotype and custom table for leaves.
    I can able to see this leave in custom table but my question is where in which nodes i need to do changes.

  • Pension  avc contribution

    hi gurus can you help me out we have a problem with avc contributions
    One employee  on Maternity Leave from July, but processed in August, was getting one month additional AVC Salary Sacrifice.  It looks like the wage type is calculating the percentage of her AVC (1%) based on her Basic Salary.  However, employees do not get WT 0100 Salary during the month that they are on Maternity Leave.  They get WT 1656 Company Maternity Pay and SMPN Paid SMP (non-recoverable) and SMPR Paid SMP (recoverable) which are linked to pension.  The system does two calculations:  one based on the employeeu2019s Basic Salary plus based on WTs 1656, SMPN and SMPR (although WT 1656 stops after 16 weeks but SMPN and SMPR continue up to 39 weeks).
