Configurate Safari for iPad with pages instead tabs
I've just Bogotá aun ipad2. Safari doesn't have the new page symbol, now there is a new tab symbol. I would prefer the page version because i like to see a little image of all the pages that i have opened instead just a title, that's what happen with tabs. So, i would like to change tabs for pages, or to have the possibility to see small images of the all tabs at the same time. Is that possible? Why does not Safari allow both options:new window/page and new tab?

Safari on iOS 5 uses tabbed browsing only, thumbnail/paged browsing was in previous iOS version - if you want the option then you could try leaving feedback, and maybe in future iOS release we'll get the choice : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html .
In the meantime I think the iCab Mobile browser from the app store supports tabbed and thumbnail browwsing

We won't be able to put the address from a formula into the same cell that you enter the customer's name. We can put the address in the cell under the customers name.
First let's take James advice and concatenate the address in the address table.
Here is the formula in G2

It shows this way because after I clicked on B2 and typed [&"] (no brackets) I typed option-return
This gives you your new line. Then I typed the closing ". I repeated this for the rest of the address.
Next we want to bring this to your order sheet. I prefer using the two formulas OFFSET and MATCH instead of VLOOKUP.
base tells OFFSETwhere to start counting from. Click A1.
row-offset is for the row. we will use MATCH() -1 to give us the row.
What MATCH does is give you the row number where something is found and you can specify an exact match. I usually construct the MATCH formula first and then cut and paste it into OFFSET. MATCH looks like this: MATCH(A2,Table 1::A,0). A2 is what we are looking for, Table 1A::A is where we are looking (the entire column A), and 0 means we want an exact match. Can you see it inside the OFFSET formula? Notice that we had to subtract 1 from its result.
column-offset tells OFFSET which column A=0 so we want 6.
we ignore "rows", "colomns" we don't need them.
If this seems like too much, just break it down into small pieces.

mine too (iPad 3/WiFi) hasn't this features.
Especially the flash can't be realized because there is a simple lack of a flash light.
Why there is no compass, calculator (I'm using the Wolfram App instead), or the weather app etc. I don't know...

I have ipad and iphone4 both.
But safari for iPad uncomfortable for me.
Safari for iphone4 have back button on the below of the screen but for ipad have back button on the top.
With my iphone, I can touch back button easly and I use that button frequently on the web surfing.
When I use ipad for web surfing, it is very uncomfortable to touch back button on the top of the screen and my hands are always on my legs.
I don't know why safari for ipad is different from iphone. It's uncomfortable.
Is there anyone have experience like me?

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. Apple doesn't respond here. The will neither give you an explanation for why it's different nor chime in with whether or not they like it.
Why does it matter whether or not other people find it uncomfortable? Will that change how you feel about it? I suspect that, even if lots of other people say it's fine, you still won't like it. And that's ok.
There are two things you can do.
1) Try one of the many other browsers available in the App Store. I really like iCab. I think it's much better than Safari.
2) Submit feedback to Apple

Unfortunately, this is not true either. For some reason, when you export to PDF, and open the PDF on a PC, it often says it cannot read the font and you get a PDF that looks like it's very sick.
I'm not sure exactly how PDF works, but I don't know why it needs to be able to read a font correctly? I thought PDFs were readable on anything because it basically printed the document on a page, which is why you cannot edit it. -

The feature has been removed to make safari even less useable. You need to download a third party browser like atomic web browser to get the functionality you want back.
Like many new IOS 7 "features", safari on the ipad is a FAIL.
At least you can now bury safari in a folder containing hundreds of icons that you can only view 9 at a time. -

Yes. The Bamboo stylus is fully supported. Only the soft rubber tipped side. The Pen side obviosuly not.
Note all stylus that work with the iPad are noticeably thicker than a pen or pencil, so precision is not something you'll get much of.
Look at the link I provided, all those stylus work with iPad. See if you like one of those. Or if you can fnd one of those were you live. -

Can I turn off tab in the new Safari for ipad?
I want to turn off the tabs in the new Safari for my iPad 2. I have gone to the settings in Safari and can only select the types of tabs, why can't I turn tabs off?

When I launch firefox 3.6.8 2 tabs open for my home page instead of just one.
Just installed 3.6.8. At launch 2 tabs are opened, both for my home page. I have closed out several times and relaunched but each time 2 tabs are opening.
Just looked at the plug-ins listed below and have no idea why I would have a plug-in for Netscape Navigator - haven't used that in years and years and never on this computer. Also some of the others are not recognized. Doubt tho whether any of this applies to my current question.1. On the menu bar, located on top of Firefox, select Tools | Options
