Configuration boites mail sur macbook air

Bien qu'ayant suivi les instructions pour installer deux boites mail orange, la configuration ne fonctionne pas.
Je dois redonner les mots de passe qui ne sont pas reconnus.
J'ai déjà ces deux adresse correctement installées sur deux iphone 5 et sur ipad2;
Merci

  • Configure ethernet adapter for MacBook Air

We use a dock with a MacBook Air.  Both were purchased about six months ago.  The dock has an ethernet port.  Under the Network Preferences I only see a wireless connection. Will I see the ethernet connection when docked?  If not how can I be sure the ethernet is being used?
    Gregg

It could depend on the dock's compatibility with Lion/Mountain Lion. Some ethernet connectors will not function with recent changes in the OS. Even Apple's own USB ethernet adapter is incompatible. Users find that only the Thunderbolt-ethernet adapter will work.

  • Exchange mail clogging MacBook Air

How can I limit the amount of email stored on my MacBook Air as it is eating up my storage. My email downloads from a Microsoft Exchange server.

You want to get Mail to download headers only and only download the body of the email once you have opened it.
    Or.
As your email server is Exchange, you should be able to access it online. That way you use no local storage.

  • Not receiving iCloud e-mail on MacBook Air

    Hello.
I don't seem to be receiving e-mail on my MacBook Air, although it goes to both my iPhone and iPad just fine. There are no Rules, Forwarding, or Junk Mail issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Harlemite In Stockholm,
Thanks for the question. Based on what you stated, it seems like the Mail application is not receiving emails. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

  • Mail on Macbook Air syncing too many emails!

I have just bought a Macbook Air and wanted to Sync my Hotmail Emails like I do on Iphone and Ipad. Problem is that it is syncing 20,000 mail messages from the last 10 years. I only need it to sync about the last two weeks or last 50 emails or something like I do on Ipad and Iphone.
I don't want to delete old messages on server because they are old work from university and writing Idid when I was younger for various projects, also messages from friends that I want to be able to look back on when I'm older. I also don't want them on my Macbook becasue they will clog it up and I like to keep things tidy, only things in my inbox which are releant to work and play today.
I can't find any option to regulate the inbox sync, only the trash and delete folders.

Hi, I'm sorry. I don't have an answer. Is there an Apple Store near you? The Genius Bar may be able to help. I hope you find a resolution. Seems like a very frustrating issue.  Good luck.

  • Mail App won't Send Mail on Macbook Air, Outlook works fine

Mail app will no longer send, from my new 2011 Macbook Air with Lion. The MS Outlook app sends fine.

    This was the answer:
This happened to me after updating to Lion. This is what I did.
When mail tries sending/receiving you'll see the spinning icon next to the trays on the left hand side. Whilst this is happening click onwindow>Connection Doctor. Find the offending account, red dot, double click on the account and in the window that opens check the details inAccount Information and Advanced are correct; mine weren't and when I corrceted them, all was well. These details semed to be different to those I had set in the Preferences pane of mail.
    Good luck,
    Andy
what this does is guide you through editing the smtp port list, which is a bit hard to locate on the accounts screen.
mail cycles through the possible smtp ports, which can take a VERY long time. Usually 587 is what you want, but in any case, pick one, see if it works, tell it not to cycle.

  • All notes ever written in Mail on Macbook Air have disappeared

I went to look up a note with important information that I had written on my macbook through the gmail desktop app and they have all disappeared... there used to be a Notes tab that I could click on, and I would see all the notes I had written on my macbook as well as all the notes from my iPhone and iPad. I can still see the notes from my iPhone if I access gmail from the internet (as well as still on my iPhone) but anything I had written in the gmail app is gone. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    UPDATE:
Phoned Apple helpline, went through creating new prefs, etc. Still didn't work.
Passed onto specialist, by process of elimination, found that certain fonts were needed - Suitcase overwriting FontBook prefs, so MarkerFelt font not being switched on. Notes are now working!!!!

  • Apple Mail on MacBook Air 10.10.3

Mailbox behavior: when I 'renamed' a mailbox, then all of the messages I had stored under the previous name vanished; did I delete these
    through this action?

I'll assume that you back up with Time Machine.
Bring the Mail browser window forward, then enter Time Machine. You'll see a series of Mail windows cascading back in time, each representing a snapshot of the Mail database.
Scroll back to the most recent snapshot containing the messages you want to restore. Select the messages, then click Restore. The messages will be restored to a new mailbox named "com.apple.Mail.backup" in the On My Mac group. From there you can move them wherever you like.
Depending on how many mailboxes you have, you may have to scroll the mailbox list up or down to see the new entry. According to some reports, you might have to relaunch Mail, or perhaps wait a while for the database to be reindexed, before it shows up. I can't confirm those reports.
