Configuration changes needed or commands before using JRockit mission ctrl

What are the things I need to do before I start using jrockit mission control . I have configured weblogic server and used jrockit as my jvm. Now, I can start jrockit mission control by goint to : C:\Oracle\Middleware\jrockit_160_17_R28.0.0-679\bin\jrmc.exe but i do not see jrockit jvm and local jvms in my JVM browser. Do i need to do some extra configurations before using the tool?
Also, how do I see my ear files listed here so I can do application level monitoring too using the tool.
All help will be really appreciated !

Then you need to use the registry edit option:
use: regedit in the run option so that you can open the registry edit browser.
Then go to : My Computer --- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE----SYSTEM---- services ---- beasvc_weblogic_server
There will be services present with each weblogic server.
Within server name, go to the parameters option and there you can see the option: cmdline
You will have to edit the value of this cmdline.
Also before editing any values from the registry edit browser, make sure that the service is stopped first and then you should edit and save the values and then start the service.

It sounds like the iPod's storage has data corruption. You may be able to treat it like an external drive and use data recovery software on it, but it probably won't work because the system is telling you that the drive needs to be formatted before it is recognized.
If the problem is data corruption and there is no hardware-related problem on the iPod's hard drive, a Restore should fix the problem. But this will obviously erase the iPod's hard drive.

Configuration changes needed on Oracle VM server/manager post IP change

We have Oracle VM 3.2.1 Server and Manager installed on couple of servers. We have created few VMs and configured them for internal use. Internal IT team is changing server IP addresses for these servers, please let me know what are the configuration changes we need to make for the Oracle VM server and Manager Services to come up fine aftre IP changes.

Are you using a Clustered Servel pool? if yes, the server pool heart beat disk is over an iSCSI on NFS partition/disk ?
Are you using iSCSI or NFS for the repository Location?
Are you using a VALN connection or not?

Need config steps to use LM80 transaction to capture serial numbers

Our shipping process is:
1. Create delivery (This automatically creates a TO)
2. Confirm TO
3. PGI
If the material is serialized, capturing the serial numbers via VL02N > Extras and then do PGI.
But due to limitation of scanning only 19 serial numbers at a time in VL02N transaction, have to keep scrolling manually to scan more than 19 serial numbers, we want to use LM80 transaction to capture serial numbers.
I need step by step configuration changes and processing steps to use LM80 transaction. As a note, we do scan serial numbers in to system as our business requires scanning 100 serial numbers at times.

Firstly, considering the first and last serial numbers and filling in the rest is good. But the challenges will be as follows:
1. What happens if the difference between the first and last is too huge? The user will see a huge list of numbers.
2. What if some in-between serial numbers are consumed already?
One probable solution can be:
1. The system suggests the unconsumed serial numbers for picking based on the actual quantity that has to be picked.
2. The user can either choose these serial numbers or modify the list with scanning based on actual picks.
The solutions can be many based on the actual way the materials are organized in the warehouse.

Hello everyone. I have a friend who is going to give me his iPhone 5 from Verizon because he is finishing his contract and he is going to renew his contract and getting a new iPhone. The thing is that I am from Spain and I want use This iphone in Spain and USA ( because I live here 9 months a year).
I Am going to keep using my Spanish SIM card which I think is a GSM one.

To connect to a Sun JDK 1.5, you will have to start your java application with jmxremote flags:
-Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote=true -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=<port> -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=false -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.ssl=false

Then you create a new connection in the Mission Control JVM Browser, to localhost and <port>, and connect to it with Console.
You will have reconfigure the graphs and dials to use other MBeans, for instance java.lang.Memory instead, and some features (Method profiler etc) won't work at all.
I'm not aware of any specific documentation for this.

Changing the SSID is a good idea, but I do not suggest changing it to something so troll enticing as "FBI Surveillance Van". A SSID like that is only going to draw attention to you and your network and challenge malicious users to target you. I advise not putting a target on your back and stick to a custom but not well known SSID.
I normally suggest broadcasting an SSID of something a little less confrontational. Something like combining your favorite color with your favorite sports team.
All jetpacks are a little different but they should all have a way to sign in and complete configuration changes. If you connect to your Jetpack and look up the IP Address of your Default Gateway you will know the IP of the Jetpack. Plug in the IP Address of the Jetpack into a web browser and sign in with the admin password. Review the security options that are available until you find a SSID or broadcast name or network name field.
While you are at it you should also make sure you have a custom WiFi password configured with WPA2 security. Custom WiFI passwords are going to be much more helpful than a creative SSID at keeping malicious users off your network. Rule of thumb for WiFi passwords is the longer the better.

The information that you need about how to configure this is not so good in the link that you posted. But it is not difficult to configure. I use the following line in configuration of routers and get the accounting records in ACS for all privilege level commands including any configuration commands.
aaa accounting commands 15 default start-stop group tacacs+
You might want to change some details (like tacacs+) depending on how your routers are configured to talk to ACS.

Boot into Recovery. OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support
Select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
At the prompt type,
resetpassword
Hit return.
Follow the prompts in the utility to select hard drive, then user.
Reset the password.
Exit the utility and restart.
You will need to log in with your new password, but your keychain will not be reset.
I’m not sure what access you’ll have to the old keychain since it didn’t have a password. You may be able to get into the keychain and reset the password to match your login password.

I always run a Time Machine backup before updating anything and recommend you run a backup as well. Paid apps should migrate over without any problem. If you have problems with VPP codes not transfering over properly, you can talk to your Apple SE or contact VPP for Education support and they can help you. While I haven't experienced any problems with updating, its never a guarantee that others will have the same experience.

Making a configuration change without using admin console

I am using the Platform Edition of App Server 7 so I don't have access to the web-based admin console.
I need to make a configuration change and the only directions I have are for the admin console.
Can anybody give me some pointers on what file to edit to acomplish the procedure below?
8. Log in to the Sun ONE Application Server administration console.
9. Select the application server Instance on which you installed the Identity Server.
10. Click JVM Settings and then JVM Options.
11. In the JVM Option field, enter the following string: -Dhttp.keepAlive=false
12. Click Add and then Save.

I think I've found it...
The file is server.xml and it is located at:
/var/opt/SUNWappserver7/domains/domain1/server1/config
There is a section under <java-config> with about 14 lines containing various <jvm-options>
I'll try adding this directive to the end of the <jvm-options> as follows:
<jvm-options>-Dhttp.keepAlive=false</jvm-options>
