Configuration does not install apps

I am testing Configurator.
I setup a simple Profile; one wi-fi setting
I chose 5 Apps, three of them paid( my own account)
I chose Supervisor option;
WHen I applied;
a- it started as if it is the first time: asking for language settings,...
b- Then asking for ... then Apple ID
c- It did not automatically connect to the wi-fi I selected in Profile. I had to choose it( it offered it)
d-It did not install any application, free or paid which I selected in Configurator
When I tried to install it going through Configurator again. It says the Apps are not authorised?
I have purchased them and I am installing on the same iPad,
Theses are my experience:
My questions!
1- Where I can set the language, and other initial settings in Configurator
2-Why Already purchased Apps were not installed?
Regards,
Henry

The error reported is that there is no redemptions codes available:
I have purchased some Apps and installed before on the same iPad that I am using Configurator to set up in Supervisor mode

  • I amtrying to install pandora client on iPod touch 8 gb. It does not install app

I am trying to install Pandora's client on iPod Touch from the app store (I also tried from pandora's website). It asks for my apple ID and password, starts dowloading but does not install the app.It does not give me any error messages. I have more than 3 GB on free space.. what's going on?

Try resetting your iPod and then attempt to redownload the App.  To reset the iPod, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

  • Assigned .msi package does not install app

This should be trivial but it does not work - I have created GPO with software installation at computer configuration and linked it to an OU containing test Windows 7 computer. Having assigned new .msi package that resided on shared folder to a computer
I did gpupdate /force on test computer, restarted it and nothing happened. There were no application logs related to MsiInstaller and of course application was not installed on test computer. How to troubleshoot this? gpresult /r on client computer retrieves
info that GPO with software installation was applied but strangely application is not installed.

  • Lenovo A328 - Does not install apps on SD Card?

Bought this phone recently and I noticed that even if I put SD card and select it as the "default write" storage in the settings, apps I downloaded on Google Play still do not install directly to the card and I kept on getting insufficient storage space error messages. Is it really like that or the phone I got might be defective?  I tried different SD cards and got the same results. Thanks!

    Hi
    No,your phone isn't defective.
With the launch of Android 4.4 KitKat, Google has imposed some serious limitations regarding SD cards(that's the main reason you can't move apps to the SD card).
Secondly some apps really need to be installed to the internal memory.
Thirdly the A328 has a limited 4GB internal memory and about 2.2GB are used by the system,so...
    Again...No,your phone isn't defective.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards.

  • Firefox does not install in the APPs folder

I have received new MacBookPro days ago. As I start installing additional softwares including firefox (2.0.0.4 and 2.0.0.5) that I downloaded as a dmg file, I fond that firefox does not install in the Applications folder. When I click dmg file, it expands and attach to the /Volumes with icons on the desktop.
It is annoying as it is not easy to find out where the program is. Is there anything I did wrong?
On my old MacBook it installed in the Applications folder and I was put it in the dock..
    Any help will be appreciated.

You should have a window entitled Firefox on the desktop as well as the drive icon. If the window is not showing double click on the drive icon and it will appear.
In the window on the left is the colorful Firefox icon with Firefox.app written underneath - click on and drag into your Application folder. Thats it.
Clear the drive icon as normal

  • TS1702 The App, QR Reader W/Ad Remover! Does not install, YES, I followed the FAQ info!

Noprmally, I click on the App, pay for it (If it's not Free!) and click 'install' and it does!  Not this one I even reset the iPhone 5, Because I just purchased it and had EVERYTHING backed up, and still.  "QR Reader" does not install OR work when I click on the Icon!

It is an up-date.  I clicked to install and watched the other app updates install just fine and I have installed several other updates since then, the  QRReader just stares back at me and does not load!  I tried to erase it from iTines and the iPhone and then install again.  The QRReader Updates do not install!  The App does not work, the download does not install and this is making my Galaxy S3 look pretty good right now!  It is on my iPhone and not installing, period!

  • MapMyIndia app does not install on my BB Z10

The app - MapMyIndia does not install on my BB Z10. After downloading, it shows an error "promo code has expired". There was a press release which says that BB India has made this app available free to consumers in India as their native app BB Maps doesn't work in India. MapMyIndia guys say that BB has to activate the license for this app on my device from BB's end.
    Please help.

I have successfully done it and here is a guide to help.
    What you need:
    1. A reasonably high end android device (I used Nexus 7 2012)
    2. Access to a computer to move files between devices (Windows 7 in my case)
    Steps:
Install Sygic on the android device from here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sygic.aura_mmi
Run the installed app and let it download all necessary files
You need to install the apk in Blackberry 10 device and later copy all necessary files from android to BB10 in order for Sygic to function properly.
Install the same app in BB10 from Snap or you can copy directly from android if you have a rooted android.
Don't run the app in BB10 as yet.
    Copy the below folder
    /sdcard/Android/obb/com.sygic.aura_mmi
from android to below BB10 folder:
    Device/misc/android/Android/obb
Basically these two directories are equivalent and Device/misc/android/ is sdcard for the android runtime inside BB10.
Next you need to copy two folders from android to BB10
    /sdcard/Sygic
    /sdcard/Sygic_mmi
    to, you guessed right
    Device/misc/android/
At this point you are done and you should be able to run Sygic normally in BB10, you can go ahead and download maps for all India

  • Server 3 downloaded but does not install. HTTPS proxy error

    Hi all,
Thanks for looking into my problem.
I had a running OSX Mountain Lion with working OSX server 2.2.
I upgraded to Mavericks (works fine) and server app 2.2 showed does not work. That is normal.
I purchased the new server 3 app (i.e. OSX server for Mavericks) and it downloaded fine.
But when I click the server app icon and the dialogue for installation starts it does not continue to install.
The first question in continue, the server app then shows the license, after acceptance it starts a dialogue
"To configure OSX server on this Mac an administrator account is required. Please enter your password"
Upon entering the correct username and password a cryptic message appears:
"An error occurred while communicating with the secure Web-Proxy-Server. (HTTPS)"
(Or something like that: this was translated from German dialogues)
I cannot find any feedback what this is about. The server 3 app ends then and the server software does not install or configure the OSX server to get it operational again.
    My Question:
What is wrong or am I doing wrong?
    How can I fix this?
    Some more data:
The original OSX server installation was an open domain server.
Upon checking the DNS name as described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5300, the scutil --get HostName resolves the correct machine name (FQDN) but the host command does not resolve the correct DNS entry.
I am really stuck on this.
    Can anybody please help?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks already

    Hi all,
I read that one should disable the SSL on a OSX server with Open Domain, prior to installing server 3. To double check: where is that configuration option hidden? How can I do this after upgrading the OSX client to Mavericks?
Seems I have not done that prior to upgrading OSX from mountain lion to mavericks. Now server 2.2 is disabled and I cannot access the server and installing server 3 app does not work.
    Some details:
    As described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5300
    (start snip)
OS X Server: Steps to take before upgrading or migrating the Open Directory database
    Disable SSL
If you have SSL enabled, disable it before upgrading.

  • Help - Logic 8.0.2 update does not install

The Logic 8.0.2 Update does not install on my machine. The installer goes through the motions very quickly and my Logic Pro app still indicates version 8.0.1. Logic node, Waveburner, etc. all seem to have updated to the .2 version. After not taking with Software Update, I downloaded the updater and that didn't work as well. I have also tried trashing the appropriate Receipt packages (though there was no Logic 8.0.2 receipt). Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks for your help, Erik. I just got off the phone with Apple support and the solution was dumber than dumb: somewhere along the line Logic Pro was renamed "Logic Pro 8" to distinguish it from ver. 7 still on my system. Renamed it "Logic Pro" and voila, the installer recognizes it!

    Steps:
    - Removed Viewer Builder app from Applications folder
    - Download update from Adobe Site
    - Click to install
    - Opens package and performed some kind of install activity. There are no prompts and quickly finishes
    - No Viewer Builder installed.
Any insights on to this would definitely help.

  • I have changed from pc to mac and photoshop elements 2.0 disk does not install on mac

I have changed from pc to mac and photoshop elements 2.0 disk does not install on mac

    Hi keltystu,
You are doing 2 things wrong:
    1. you are trying to run EXE file(installer) on MAC
    2. You are trying to run a very old application on latest configuration which is not compatible and may not fulfill the appropriate requirement.
    Thanks

  • Cannot load svn plugin. Error is "Resulting configuration does not contain the platform."

I am getting the following error when installing the svn
    plugin.
Resulting configuration does not contain the platform.
When I just try to find updates I get the same error. Is my
installation messed up or is flex builder a special eclipse
    configuration?
    Thanks,
    Chris

Flex Builder 3 does not come with subversion plugin, so it
must be something you have installed.uninstall that first
P.S you are using official version right?

  • ILife 09 does not install iDVD 09 Themes

I have installed iLife '09, but it does not install iDVD Themes. When I go to /library/application support/iDVD/Themes I only find iDVD 6, and iDVD 7 Themes. How can I recover, or find, iDVD 9 Themes?

    Dear Terence
    Thanks for your fast response.
I just thought, after posting my question, to have another look in my applications folder and I found in my installers folder along with an "Excode Tools" folder another version of iphoto. This turned out to be the one that I was using in the dock, the other iphoto app. I moved to the dock and this one has updated to 09 OK.
Why would it have migrated there?
I certainly did'nt move it. Does it automatically duplicate when one updates so that you have the choice of returning to the older version?
Although it has never done that before.
    Very best wishes

  • Windows 10 downloads but does not install...

windows 10 downloads but does not install on my  Stream 13-c010nr (OS 8.1). Says I need 5 GB more before it can install. Should I factory reset? Any suggestions?

If you can run the recovery, it should free up enough space although in this thread, it did not.  It might also help to download the Windows 10 ISO file and run it from a USB.  You do not have to run any updates to Windows 8.1 if you do that, you can upgrade right after restoring to the factory configuration.
