Configuration error message....

Greetings!
Recently purchased a refurbished 17" MacBook Pro - complete with 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo. Got all settled in, loaded up Final Cut Pro 4.0, clicked it and got the following message: "Configuration error: This software requires certain hardware or software which is missing".
There is a bullet point with the words "AGP graphics card."
I was under the impression that this computer was good to go out of the box for heavy graphics programs -- Final Cut, Photoshop CS, After Effects, etc.
Did I go wrong? Do I need to put a graphics card in this computer, or is this an error message about which I should be concerned?

Currently working on Spend Performance Management(SPM) 2.1 application. I am trying to configure error message which pops up along with BEx link whenever we run reports with large amount of data.

Hi ,
As suggested above , you'd have to remove content creator role if your user profile has it .
When you go to
- application properties > General > Warning mesg for large reports(field) and
- change the default message ,
- hit save logout of the application ,
- log back in
- go back to application properties > General > Warning mesg for large reports(field) and
Do you see the message you had entered in step 2 above?

"Configuration Error" message on launching Admin tool

I installed OBIEE 11g 11.1.1.6 client on windows 7 machine and created a DSN also. When I launch the admin tool. I get "configuration error" message.
Can someone help in identifying what it is and how to resolve it.

For future readers, I was able to resolve this problem. Here's how:
For the "Configuration Error" dialog when doing a stand-alone 64-bit Windows client install, you need to go to the "C:\Program Files\Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus Client\oraclebi\orahome\bifoundation\server\bin" directory, change the permissions to the "bi_init.cmd" file so you can edit it, and comment out the line that starts "set ORACLE_INSTANCE". You'll get a new error dialog when you try to open the tool complaining that the ORACLE_INSTANCE variable is not set, but you can click through it and the tool will work fine.
For the issue of RPD version 318 vs 320, you need to download the 11.1.1.6.2 version of the client, which has been released as a patch (it's really just a full install). It's patch 13794002.

Audio configuration error message

after upgrading to 7.3.1, i get an error message that reads "itunes cannot run because it has detected a problem with your audio configuration". and, consequently, itunes does not open. i have reset my computer to previous settings and have attempted to remove the update. anyone else having similar problem? everything was fine yesterday...

Since iTunes uses QuickTime to play audio/video content in iTunes, that error message most likely indicates that there's a problem with your Quicktime installation.

Weird Audio Configuration Error Message

When I turn on the computer and start up iTunes, everything works fine. The first time. If I close it and then reopen later, I get an error message that says: "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/video playback my not operate properly." Program proceeds to open, but I'm unable to play songs. On the Apple site, it said that an answer to a similar (but not identical) error message was to reinstall QuickTime, which I've done. As per my opinion, you cant configure messages in PS, similar to other modules like MM where can control whether a message has to be error or info etc.
You may need development to address ur requirmment, may be u can share ur exact req with forum.

If you have not modified anything that means you probably missed
a step when configuring and delpoying your new web application.
Did you synchronize your application data from the EBCC?

Every new document I create gives me the following message
when I try to preview

I have two windows server 2012 Data Center and I configured (Virtual Desktop Interface)VDI on it's.
All my clients connected on both of servers by used Remote Desktop sessions ,5 months since.
Currently,when the clients is connected on the both of servers they received the following error:
"The remote session was disconnected because there are no remote desktop license servers available to provide license"
Kindly note, I installed windows Licenses Server Data Center on the both of servers.

Please let us know if you have purchased RDS CALs and install it in your RD licensing server.
Also, on RD Session host servers, please make sure that you have specified the license mode and point them to the RD licensing server.

CONFIGURE ERROR MESSAGE IN TESTSTAND WHEN RESULTS ARE LOGGED TO ACCESS DATANBASE

I am running teststand 3.5 and using a dll "Corelis Boundary scan dll" and logging the results to a Microsoft 2003 Access database.
When ever an error occurs the default schema logs as below:
UUT_RESULT
UUT_ERROR_MESSAGE
User-defined error code.
How can I set this message to relate to the actual test step.

HrPrefs not configured error message

Hi,
When i click on Navigate -->Preferences --> Financial Reporting in the System 11 Workspace, i get the following error.
" Required application module reporting.HRPrefs is not configured. Please contact your administrator.".
Anyone familiar with this problem?
What can be the loss in functionality if we are unable to configure these preferences.

Check the following cases:
1. Whether web server routing has been properly configured for the Financial Reporting Module.
2. Was workspace configured & deployed before Financial Workspace? If this has happened, you will need to configure and deploy Workspace again and reconfigure web server routing.

Can't install updates for Flash, get the "unable to install application configuration" error message

I'm using Windows 7 32-bit with Firefox 17.0.1 -- everything's up to date. I keep getting this error every time I try to update an Adobe add-on using the idiot stub installer -- I don't have this problem with a full installer, such as I've been able to find for Shockwave. Why can't I donwload a full installer for Flash or Reader and avoid this stupid problem??? It started about two or three Windows updates ago, and nothing else is now on my system. I don't really care who's responsible (Windows/Microsoft or Adobe) -- I jut want the blasted things to update and work. HELP!!!

Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to search for an item named "Safari Extensions List". If found, delete it. Quit Keychain Access.
Quit and relaunch Safari.
