Configuration guide for Technical Resource / Technical data in BRIM Provider Contract
Hi Experts,
I am trying understand the concept of Technical Resource / Technical data described in the BRIM process. The help describes the configuration of schema on the product master. But I could not find any info on how this is linked to the Provider Contract.
We are looking at opportunity to replace the Ibase info associated with the Service Contract and are exploring if the Provider Contract - Technical Resource info.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Regards,
Mandar
Hello Mandar,
normally you should be able to capture the resources without any further activities...
Just for confirmation: You try to capture the resoruces for a provider order? Service contracts do not support Technical Resources. Provider Contracts do, but don't allow manual changes - all changes are captured via Provider Orders.
So I would start analysis to find out if the issue is on UI level (view not displayed or something) or if the API layer does not work at all.
You could start checking in CL_CRM_TC_ORDER_CHANGE=>SET_TECH_RES_DEFAULT() and see if your schema is picked up correctly and if the default entries are generated.
Do you see the view for technical resources at all? If yes...:
If you create resources with min quanity = 0, a little pitfall is that the "create" buttons in the table for technical resources are little difficult to observe. But for each resource type the table for technical resources should containt a button according to your schema to create the entries...
Best regards
Stefan

Configuration guide for Action Control Matrix
Hi, Does anyone configuration guide for action control and status matrix for VMS for Equipment master, General Object creation, Master warranty creation and assignement for the object VELO.
I have seen this as well as the SAP best practices configuration guide, they do not talk about the status for CREQ. We have defined it as secondary action and executed the action but it does not create the equiment. The CS/Plant maintenance does not seem to recognise objects created from VELO. Although the documentation talks of VELO as equipment categry along with the standard equipement category EQ, we are not sure if we have to add VELO as equipment category (add how to add as well) so that the vehicle master details can be carried from VELO into equipment for warranty processing.

Configuration guide for drop shipments
Hello all,
Pl. post any link/documents/Configuration guide for configuring the drop shipment process in SAP.
Thanks,
MaxxMaxx,
I assume when you say "Drop shipments", you are referring to the process where a customer orders product from your company; you procure the product from a Vendor, the Vendor ships the product directly to the Customer; and you invoice the customer. SAP calls this Third party order processing. SAP has two Best Practices, Here are the Business Process docs, and configuration guides.
