we have the requirement like if user change the price in the condition record ,automatically mail send to the user. then only user
update in the sale order.
note : purpose to losing the revenue of the company
with reagrds

You may have to set up different user accounts in the computer if you wish to
continue sharing the computer among other people, and only use the Mail app.
Otherwise, if you use a webmail such as yahoo, gmail, or other, just use a browser
and login each time; then there is no saving of your email to the computer as such.
I've never used an email client software, nor had an ISP based email account. So
my numerous computers have never downloaded email into software. No loss.
But the answers do include setting up extra user accounts, not admin level, so the
other users do not mess with the operating system; a standard account or just a
guest account to use a browser to access web-based login email accounts, works.
There are third-party email client for OS X, some are free applications, others are
part of a larger browser product, such as SeaMonkey, & other Mozilla derivatives.
They provide an email segment or client aspect; unlike Firefox that's a browser.
Setup information should be within the Help viewer in the computer itself. Or by a
simple search online, including the OS X version and any email client software
your computer may have installed. Some browser software includes email client.
Also there are several ways to go in this matter. I don't see questions, only answers.
To learn how the Mail application works, if you want to import everyone's mail, then
figure how to set up user accounts in the OS X. Or use web-mail & login by browser.
Hopefully you can find the best solution for the unasked question.

User Automatically Locked By Other User?

There was a UserID that was locked AUTOMATICALLY by the system but logged as locked by other user.
UserID B was locked by UserID A on 26th Oct. But UserID
A was on leave on 26th Oct. There is no way UserID
A could have logged in since UserID A 'Last Successful Login' was on 17th Oct.
Any explanation on this incident? Is there any way UserID B can lock UserID A without login into UME?

Look for batches / background jobs scheduled by User A and check if they can set a lock code for a user B (USR02-UFLAG <> 0)
Also I'd probably check if the user was still logged in the system on Oct 26 having entered the system on Oct 17th.

Send e-mail to other user from eRecruiting

We need to create new Activity to our e-Recruiting tool for recruiters.
Recruiter might need to send requisition to the manager who is not in recruiting team. E-mail should contain all the information and attachments from the candidacy as e-mail attachments. Logon ID can be used as e-mail recipient. This activity "Forward to Manager" is seen in activities list and can be maintained as any other activity.
Does this functionality exist in the system or do we need custom BSP application or/and class?
It seems like there are possibilities to create standalone BSP applications with customizing (start page, links), but this requirement needs to be integrated for retrieving data from other BSP application. How do we embed our own functionality to existing application if this needs to be build?
Any guidance and help is very much appreciated.

Dear Taina,
If you want to send mail to anybody who does not belong to recruitment team and not a part of requisition creation, you have to create your own program to send the mail. You can customize your BSP application, and you can trigger the mail based on your action.

Why can't i use mail in other user accounts? (the mail icon is a ? mark)

My user account is the main administrator account, .... but i have other family members that are at that age that they want to use their own account with their own mail account. However, .... under those other accounts, .... the mail icon in the dock is a question mark.
I believe i checked the appropriate check boxes under administrator to allow other apps to be used by other accounts but i am not 100% of this... please help...thanks

Did you move the location of the Mail app?
Within the other accounts navigate to Macintosh HD > Applications > Mail. Double click. Then select the dock, choose the hawk's wings icon and right click and choose "Keep in Dock".

Do I need another mail account other than mac?

This may be a dumb question, but here goes: as I use my desktop mac mail for sending and receiving all of my mail, including sbc/yahoo mail, I'm wondering why I need the second. Is it because they provide my internet access?
If I used solely mac mail, I'd still have to pay a provider, right? And I'd have the option of using, or not using that mail account, correct?
Now that I'm getting more into dotmac mail on the web, which allows me to access all of my mail from any computer, I'm using yahoo less and less.
Do you see where I'm going? Trying to slim down my Internet travels.

You can access your other existing email accounts through Mail.app which it sounds like you are doing, so keeping other email addresses, in addition to .Mac, is purely up to you. Quite a few folks have more than one email address for different purposes if for no other reason than a "junk" address for web sites that require an email address for access. Keeping a "clean" email address for family, friends and personal contacts can be very helpful if you get a lot of spam.
Email accounts are almost always offered thru an internet provider, and not taking advantage of them will not reduce your providers monthly bill. What you are paying for is the access to the internet, whether it be dial up, DSL, or something else. Free email accounts are available from a multitude of different services - Gmail, Netscape, AOL, Yahoo, etc.
You can drop or add email accounts at will. Since you are a subscriber, a look at .Mac Mail aliases might also provide some insight and alternatives.
Apple does not provide internet access, so you still need your provider. .Mac is simply a group of tools and a service integrated together and sold by Apple.

I have done mail configuration for GP in Visual admin. I am able to send mail within my company domain,but mails to other domains could not be send. So i need help to configure to send mail to other domain from GP. Is there any other configuration to be done in GP or Visual admin. Quick reply pls.

Any e-mails that the Guided Procedures framework sends use this email server and the service user e-mail.
1. To configure the system for sending e-mails, launch the Visual Administrator, and navigate to <SID> → Server → Services → caf/eu/gp/model.
2. Update the values for the following properties:
a. smtp.server : domain
b. smtp.service_user_mail : here user mail
once test it.

How to share music library with other users using it's own iTunes hdd

I have 183 gigs of music on my computer. I have it all on it's own hard drive not the OS or "C" drive. I'm pulling my hair trying to configure other users on my computer to access the music on windows Vista
Cant find any info to help tell me how to do that when the music is on it's own HDD. Can anyone help?

I don't think you have to drag anything anywhere.
Let's just say your music is on a drive named G:
I assume you've set its permissions for everyone. I also assume you can already listen to the files from the G: drive in itunes on your account - so you don't need to consolidate anything; iTunes is already working on your account and you just need to set some other users up to do the same.

Mail with two users logged in

I'm having a problem in which if I have two users logged into my Mini and one
of the two users launches Mail, the other user has mail launch as well. Now this
wouldn't be a big deal except when my wife gets on the mini and my user is logged in and I'm at work, the fact that Mail is launched on my account, it will block

You could get a KVM (Keyboard/Video/Mouse) switch for the monitor on the kid's computer. If it doesn't have VGA connection it might cost a bit more to find a DVI compatible switch (or you'd need a DVI-VGA adapter) but they are available.

Sending Mail to Local Users via the Terminal mail Command

I am having trouble sending mail to other user account via the terminal mail command. It seems to work with some accounts i.e. guest, etc, but fails with others i.e. Dennis. It will fail with no error message. Has anyone had any experience using the unix mail command locally ?

I don't know the answer to this but you might try the -v option on the mail command in order to get verbose output. Perhaps a useful message would pop up.
Also, you might consider posting this message in the Unix Forum. There is a good chance that someone there can help you with this issue.

The user name or password for iCloud is incorrect" from popping up 2-4 times consecutively every time I choose MAIL on my iPhone 4, 7.1.1 I have to select "OK" 2-4 times each time before I can read other email accounts. I used to have an "@me.com" account which I think was automatically changed to an "@icloud.com account." I opened a new iCloud.com account yesterday because I could not figure out how to get in the old ones. I want to delete the original @me & original iCloud account. When I try to delete the account, they tell me my DOB is wrong. I just want those pop ups to stop. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can use the following BADI.
NOTIF_EVENT_SAVE.
This is a filter dependant BADI. Use filter 'Maintain Notification'.
This BADI will trigger at the time of saving your notification.

Forward mail to other SMTP server when user is unknown

At this point we are migrating our mailserver from groupwise to Exchange 2007 and at the same point we are connection the new domain in the forrest from a other school. All goes well but know there is a small issue that we have to fix. The Exchange server from the other school send's all message's for @grundel.nl to our new exchange server but there aren't users. There are two sollutions to our problem (I think) but I need to know what exchange can do for me.
1- Our mail goes to the new exchangeserver and when there is a user that the server doesn't know he forwards the mail to our Groupwise server (through SMTP). Is this possible and how can I configure it?
2- The mailserver from the other school sends the mail to Our Groupwise server direct. This is difficult because we are in one forrest and exchange see's that the grundel.nl is configured in sites and servers. Can Exchange bet configured to send mail for our domain to a SMTP server instead of our exchnage server and how can I configure that?
Sollution 1 would be the best so we gen migrate a bit easier.

i have the same situation and mostly all mail goes normally, except for some users.
It smtp configuration for user is [email protected] but if i send mail to [email protected] (the same site, same server, but i have smart host value for this domain ) - mail deliver to user exchange mailbox locally ([email protected]) and not forwarded
to another host.
Another users goes normally. how can i resolve this problem ?

I just updated my MacBook pro early 2011 model to OSX 10.9 and was forced to create a new user(administrator) and ended up with a different configuration. If I login with my original user name everything is back. How can I get rid of the other user name?

I have two user names with Administrator privelages and my MacBook keeps booting up to the wrong one and I have the wrong configuration since I updated to OSX 10.9. I would like to get back to my original User name which I used to boot up to. When I go to the User Groups and Preferences it doesn't allow me to delete the un-wanted user.
Does anybody have any suggestions how I can fix this? I can't seem to recover Time Capsule back-ups prior to the OSX upgrade even though I have been faithfully backing up to a Time Machine.

First of all, open System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options, and set your old user account in "Automatic login". By doing this, your computer will always log in with your old account.
Then, log in your old account, where you will be able to delete the new user that OS X Mavericks forced you to create. Other users have reported the same problem

About 3-4 days ago the Mail icon in dock had question mark and was accidently removed, along with program on my user. Oops.
1. Mail 4.4 is on other users and works fine, but for me it does not work and tells me V4.3 does not work with latest OS X.
2. I reloaded software from my user with original disks (Oct, 2010) and got Mail 4.3 again. Mail 4.3 did not work with latest OS. I am unable to load Mail. Gives Yellow error message.
" You have Mail version 4.3 (1081/1084). It can’t be used on Mac OS X Version 10.6.7 (Build 10J869). For more information, click the Help button."
3. Tried to update software and look for update for mail 4.3 on Apple site to no success.
Hate to go to MS-Entorage ( I may need to learn something new and alien) mail program since contracts are in Mail/Address Book.
Ideas?
