Configuration of PLM++ GATE

I am trying to setup the SAP PLM integration environment with Unigraphics. Able to install all of the components and while connecting to SAP R/3 through PLM++ GATE, getting the following error.
API /DSCSAG/DOC_CREATE does not exist.
API /DSCSAG/CLASS_CREATE does not exist.
Please help me in troubleshooting this problem.
Thanks
Chandra

Hi all,
We have a group of user reported that there is an error with single sign on(SSO)
with integration between PLM and unigraphics. Error is:
SNCERR_GSSAPI
An operation failed at the GSS-API level
sec_avail="false"
Error in SNC
I know they can use logon without SSO, but user is user. So anyone can shed some light on how we can have SSO work with PLM and Unigraphics.
Thanks,
Kev

  • Golden Gate configuration with 12c Database

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to configure the golden gate with oracle database 12c with container database.
    Versions:
    Golden Gate - 12.1.2.1.0
    Oracle Database - 12.1.0.2
    Here we need to configure with container database and two pluggable database.
    Kindly suggest me the steps for configuration.
    Regards
    Kumar

    Hello Kumar,
    I  think you need to do the same setup as other GG versións :
    1. Install Golden Gate software on extract/replicat sites
    2. Create GG User with the necesary  privs.
    3. Set Min Logging level  at database level.
    4. Set TRANDATA for the tables that you like capture changes
    After, you need analyze the objects that you need replicate and define the capture process.
    To use GG on a MultiTenant Database, you need  define at extract level the PDBs and the objects that you need extract. Remeber that in a Multi-tenant enviorment, only a set of redo logs exists,then the capture process is Multi-Tenant aware, because allow
    set the PDB and the schema and the objects that you like capture. It is called qualified three-part name, PDB.SCHEMA.TABLE
    Example:
    SOURCECATALOG FINANCE TABLE SAP.*;  ---> Source is the way to inlcude the PDB
    TABLE REPORTS.*;
    SOURCECATALOG HR TABLE SIEBEL.*;
    TABLE REPORTS.*;
    SOURCECATALOG MFG
    TABLE CUSTOMER.ORDERS;
    TABLE REPORTS.*;
    TABLE HQ.LOCATIONS.*;
    In this example, Extract captures the following:
    All tables in the SAP and REPORTS schemas in the FINANCE PDB.
    All tables in the SIEBEL and REPORTS schemas in the HR PDB.
    All tables in the CUSTOMER and REPORTS schemas in the MFG PDB.
    For the last TABLE statement, Extract captures all tables in the LOCATIONS schema in the HQ PDB. This statement is a fully qualified three-part name and overrides the previous SOURCECATALOG specification.
    You have more info at : http://docs.oracle.com/goldengate/1212/gg-winux/GWURF/gg_parameters147.htm
    Also, you have a dedicated chapter of using GG in a Multi-Tenant env at:  https://docs.oracle.com/goldengate/1212/gg-winux/GIORA/config_containerdb.htm#BDCFDFDE
    I hope help.

  • How to configure the XI  and PLM in discovery box

    How to configure the XI (SLD, Integration repository, Integration Builder ) in  SAP discovery system.
    And also i want to configure the PLM and xRPM within R/3 of discovery box.
    Regards,
    Nilesh Damle

    Hi Frank,
    well, first of all, your application provides log configuration information using an XML file at deployment time. This file is called log-configuration.xml (you can see the DTD description here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/48/ef8748caed894bb4b3ae953a60c592/frameset.htm). There you can set configure log controllers, which could be two types: location and category. So, you can specify your location and severity there. This is described here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/35/671c0136b4714c9e1b16b68211287b/frameset.htm.
    Then, after the application is deployed, the log configurations you provided for it are registered with the Log Configuration tool I mentioned about. Using this tool you can later on modify your configurations at runtime (for example, change the severity level) without having to redeploy the application.
    I hope it's clearer now? I guess it was me not getting your first question correctly that caused your confusion.
    Greetings,
    Ivo

  • Multiple access gates with one ASDK

    Hello All,
    We have an ASDK installed on an application and configured an access gate to talk to OAM1 with datastore1. Now we have OAM2 with datastore2 and need this application to talk to the OAM2. OAM1 and OAM2 handle different sets of users.
    Can we install another access gate on the same ASDK and talk to OAM2? If not please suggest the best way to provide SSO with both OAMs to the application?
    Thanks in advance.

    IDMGod,
    I tried setting the environment variables, oracle doc below says
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15217_01/doc.1014/e12491/as_api.htm#CHDFCJEI
    OBACCESS_INSTALL_DIR = SDK_install_dir
    Points to the Access Manager SDK install root. (This is necessary only if your AccessGate does not specify SDK_install_dir as part of the ObConfig.initialize method).
    From what I understood, this needs to changed by defining the parameters in ObConfig.initialize method. Since I already have an Access Gate1 configured, is it possible to change this value for that Access Gate? If so where can I find this method in the AccessGate1 (I used configureaccessgate utility for this, there is no custom code used in this accessgate)
    When I install Access Gate2, do I need to write custom access gate code as mentioned in the examples in the above doc? or can I use the out of box access gate by running the configureaccessgate utility?
    Thank you.

  • CAD Integration - NX

    Dear All,
    I am working on CAD Integration for NX 4.0 with PLM++Gate 3.0
    I could not able to load the assembly files from my local directory.
    It gives the error: 'abc.prt' Failed to find file using current search options, part left unloaded.

  • Transparent gateway to Sybase: connection error

    I have been trying with little success to set up a transparent gateway to a sybase server.
    The gateway is an NT 4 workstation, with an oracle server 8.1.7 installed. The sybase server is an ASE 12.0 on a Solaris 8 box.
    Are these versions of the products supported? In the gateway documentation only Sybase 11 is mentioned...
    Moreover all the examples/schemas given refer to an installation of the gateway on the same machine as the sybase server, whereas in my case the gateway is installed on a separate machine (but it is also stated that this configuration is allowed, provided a sybase client is installed togheter with the gateway).
    From what I can make of the error messages / trace files, the problem lies in the gateway not finding the sybase server. But from the sybase client installed on the gateway machine I can connect to the same remote sybase server without hassles, so the sybase client is configured correctly.

    Gaetano,
    The supported products that we list in the manual is only what we have tested at print time. However we update our certification matrix regularly.
    Please refer to the certification matrix on Technet.com ( http://otn.oracle.com/products/gateways/pdf/certmatrix2.pdf) for the latest certified configurations.
    It looks like you have installed the gateway in the same Oracle home as the database. With v8.1.6 of the gateway this is not possible. With v9.x onwards this is possible.
    You can either reinstall the gateway in another Oracle home or upgrade to v9.x.
    I recommend that you upgrade to v9.x, since v8.x will be desupported shortly.
    As of v9.x the Sybase gateway is located on the database CD and you can install it by doing a custom install.

  • RGP and NRGP

    Hi,
    Please guide me  how to configure RGP (Returnable Gate Pass) & NRGP (Non Returnable Gate Pass) Material Movement procedure in SAP.

    hi
    No, SAP doesn't provide any option for creating Gate Pass (Returnable & Non-Returnable) in standard.
    Returnable Gate Pass:
    1. MM01 - Create Material Master for every Spare Part / Machinery to be sent to Vendor for Repair as Non-Valuated (Material Type "UNBW") (Do not extend Accounting and Costing views since you don't require postings of Stock value and consumption values, you only want to track the Service/Repair Charges)
    2. MIGO - Goods Receipt > Others (Receive the quantities of these materials using Movement Type 501 / 511)
    3. ME21N - Create Subcontracting PO (Here Main Material and Component will be same material)
    4. MB1B - Transfer Posting w.r.t. Subcon PO (Mvmt Type - 541, Spare Part stock will get posted to Vendor Stock)
    5. MB90 - Take Print out of this Material Doc as Returnable Gate Pass (U need to configure Message Determination of Inventory Mgmt)
    6. MIGO - GR against Subcon PO (101 - Receive Spare Part, 543 O - Consumption of Spare Part form Vendor Stock)
    7. MIRO - LIV for Service Charges w.r.t. Subcon PO
    Non-Returnable Gate Pass: -
    1. MIGO - Goods Receipt > Others (Receive the quantities of these materials using Movement Type 501 / 511)
    2. MIGO - Goods Issue > Others (Issue the quantities of these materials using Movement Type 501 / 511)
    3. MB90 - Take Print out of this Material Doc as Non-Returnable Gate Pass (U need to configure Message Determination of Inventory Mgmt)
    Note: - If Client is not satisfied with this then you need to go for development of Gate Pass System.

  • Third Party webgate installation

    Hi All,
    We are installing third party webgate on one application web server.
    We have 2 OAM servers in Production. When we install webgate it was asking for the hostname, which host name we will give (node1 or node2)?.
    Its very urgent, we are mid of the installation. Expect quick response on this.

    Comparing to the OOTB WebGate installation, The first thing you need to specify during the installation is installation directory for WebGate. Following that is Transport Security Mode. Later on the below details.
    WebGate ID - The name you create in Access Gate Config
    Password For WebGate - Password Configured in Access Gate Config
    Access Server ID - Access Server associated to the WebGate in Access Gate Config
    Host Name - FQDN of the Access Server associated to the WebGate in Access Gate Config
    Port - Port # of the Access Server associated to the WebGate in Access Gate Config
    As you are installing a 3rd party WG, any documentation supplied should help you about the parameters. Also on the screen where it asks you the Host Name, are there any other parameters asked like Access Server ID, Port? (In case of Windows)
    In case, if its asks specifically for the Access Server Host Name, you should give the Host Name of the access server to which the WebGate is associated.
    Again, the vendor who supplied the WG to you should be helping you. Let us know more details and someone will help you out.

  • Oracle Access Manager AND Jdev

    We plan to use Access manager et the front end of Jdev ADFBC JSF web application ..
    How can we integrate our java application with Access Manager
    We can't find any code or application sample about that...
    Any extention planned for Access Manager like portlet extention ?
    (is true forum here ?)
    Thanks for your help....

    I am assuming you are trying to use CoreID's Access Manager API?
    If so....
    In order to use the access manager API from within Java you must do the following:
    1) Intall the Access Server SDK on the machine that you will be doing your development on ( This is a sepperate executeable form the CoreID Installer )

  • Primary Interface

    Hello,
    I've read the documentation however I'm still a little confused as to what & how the primary interface is used for. It appears that the IP associated with this interface is registered with the CM. In my instance I require the IP associated with Gi2/0 to be registered with the CM and by changing the primary interface I can change this however I'm not sure how this affects WCCP traffic etc. Please see below for my current config.
    My Data Centre config is as follows:
    2 x Cisco 4507R Core switches
    2 x          OE7341
    WAE1 is connected to Core1 & WAE2 is connected to Core2. A L2 EtherChannel exists betwen the cores
    I'm using WCCP with L2 redirection and IP Forwarding as egress to a HSRP address. Currently Primary Interface is GigabitEthernet 1/0; default gateway is on the same subnet as the primary interface. GigabitEthernet 2/0 is the management interface with static routing in case Gi1/0 goes down.
    Currently I can see all redirected WCCP traffic coming in & out of Gi1/0 which I presume is normal with Gi2/0 sitting idle.
    Should I re-configure in a way that WCCP traffic comes in via Gi1/0 but returns via Gi2/0... how do I achieve this configuration? Default gate on the Gi2/0 interface?
    Thanks in advance for any replies.
    Regards
    Craig

    Hello Zach,
    Thanks for the clarification!
    How do I re-set the 'Management IP' if the WAE is already registered to the CM? Do I presume correctly I would need to de-register and register again with correct IP?
    With regards to the WCCP config; I understand about the ingress redirection in terms of the lowest IP used for registration. Should I leave it as default with traffic being forwarded to default gateway on Gi1/0 interface or is it best tohave ingress on Gi1/0 and then egress on Gi2/0?
    Basically I'm just trying to understand the best setup for WCCP using both the Gi1/0 & Gi2/0 ethernet ports
    Thanks!
    Craig
