Configuration of Rate Component

Hi Friends,
How Can we get TOU Data in CC&B &  How  can i attach TOU in RC?
Thanks in Advance
sivaram

But are you actually going to maintain Interval data within CC&B? Are you actually going to practice Interval Billing? or the Interval Data resides in your MDMS but you'd bill SCALAR in CC&B by configuring just the TOU Periods and uploading SCALAR data?

  • Web Service Security not configured on this component.

    Hi Experts,
Before configuring the scenario, i went to RWB to check whether the comopnents are in active mode or not.
                                  Integration Engine XID
                                  Business Process Engine XID
                                  Mapping Runtime XID
                                  Adapter Engine XID
                                  Integration Engines
All components are in Green mode  Except Integration Engine, The Integration is in yellow mode
                           and shows the following details.
Details for 'Is Web service security available?'
Web Service Security not configured on this component.
Can you give the solution for this.

    Hi,
1, While sending idoc from sapR/3 to PI , in r/3 sm58 shows the foll error:
"No service for system SAPQA,client 200 in integration directory"*
Even the Bussiness sytem pointing R/3.
From your initial post, it appears that you are using XID system and from above error, I believe you are trying to send the IDoc from QA system. R3 dev will communicate to PI dev, so verify the partner profile and ports in your IDoc Header settings.
2, When i execute the tcode sm58 in PI   it shows the following error:
"Syntax error in program SAPLSXI_AC_CACHE _REFERESH"
I am kinda confused how come sm58 tcode can show an error for this program, as sm58 is for checking the transactional RFCs and  SAPLSXI_AC_CACHE_REFERESH is for XI Cache refresh for Alert Category. Might be some one else can explain this.
                         3, WHEN I EXECUTE THE tcode SXI_CACHE
Under the *STATUS OF RUNTIME CACHE
                                                           Unable to refresh cache contents
Error during last attempt toreferesh cache
(red colour triangle leading above both)
Check this SAP Note 764176, might help in your situation.

4, Still there is no messages in Message monitoring.
Obviously because of error # 1, you are unable to send IDocs, how come you expect messages to reach PI ... strange, isn't it
    Hope this helps.

  • Object type and object subtipe in configuration of Z component

I created one Z component and I need to have different configuration views. If I create configuration I have only <DEFAULT> value available for object type and subtype. How can I define other available object types for Z component?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Robert,
You can go to CRM->UI Framework->UI Framework Definition->Define UI Object Types.
These are generic Object types and can be used for defining configuration of any component.
Alternatively, you can create your own Object types and Sub Object types (hardcoded) in the method where you want to use them. You can look into method DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION in class CL_BP_HEAD_ACCOUNTDETAILS_IMPL for reference.

  • Configuring ADF Graph Component

    Hi all,
Can you help me to find any document that explains how to configure a graph component in a ADF Swing application?
I've seen a lot of documents about DVT Graph component but they do not apply to Swing.
Is there any wizard that can be used in this case, as I see in ADF Faces Documentation?
    TIA,
    Luis

    Hi Luis,
It is possibel to sue DVT Graph in a Java client application. For documentation, you would have to use DVT Javadoc to call java methods on oracle.dss.graph.Graph class.
I can send you some sample apps off-line if you contact me: katarina obradovic at oracle.
    Hope this helps

    Hello Srikanth,
I have no issues in trying to help someone as polite as you! It is very nice to have questions answered in an intelligible manner - not unfortunately always the case.
Without being able to debug on your system it is quite difficult to say what might be causing this error - especially as you say this was working in a different system.
I'm sure you've already tried eliminating differences in your authorisations between the two systems? Are you registered as a developer in the new system?
Sorry I'm now just guessing as I've not come across the error myself - hopefully now that we have clearly documented the issue, someone else might be able to shed some light on what might cause it!

  • Can't edit view configuration in Z-component

    Hi experts,
i have a problem with editing a view with the configuration tool in the development workbench (bsp_wd_cmpwb).
I created an own Z-component, opened it with an enhancement set (there is no way to open a component without enhancement set in our system? It always wants to have one provided), added a view, and now i can't configure it - the and (-)-buttons for adding fields are disabled.
    Looking forward to you answers!
Thanks in advance and best regards.

In bsp_wd_cmpwb, besides the option to input the Component name, you have an icon. Clicking that icon would enable/disable the option to create the enhancement set. Try it.
Once you create view, in 'view configuration' you have the edit button. Once you click it, the + and - options get enables. try it.

  • SRM: Using Z Configuration in Standard component

    Hello Experts,
I want to hide a colunm of a table hence i created my own z configuraiton . However during the applicaiton is called, the newly created "Z" configuraiton is never called. Instead stil the standard configuration is called.
How can make my z configuraiton being called instead of the Standard?
    Please help.
    Thanking you,
    best Regards,
    Tamanna.

    Hello Tamanna,
the reason probably is, that within the application configuration still the standard FPM component configuration is inside. When you create your own application configuration and enter there your own component configuration, it should work.
Have you ever thought about using the administrator mode for your change? When you are doing this you will create a customizing for SAP delivered component configuration. Within the administrator mode you remove the column from the table and this change will have an effect on the application runtime for all users in this client.
So you don't have to copy SAP's component configuration and the benefit of changes in admin mode is that e.g. new deliveries/updates from SAP to this standard component configuration are not lost.
For a further look of enhancing/adapting SAP component configurations please have a look at this [document|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/c0a2b7c2-1598-2e10-45bc-c556df3b9576 ].

  • How can i configure hourly rate 9.5 to calculate automatically basic salary

    Dear All,
Can anyone help on hour to get the hourly rate 9.52 to automatically multiply the monthly hours 173.90 to get the Basic pay monthly amount for hourly employees.
    Regards

@akspecs -- Yes I was rapidly coming to the same conclusion, thanks.
Besides, I figured I ought to do it properly and learn how to actually configure and use WINE as it should be, from the command line!
In the meantime however I'd actually mitigated this problem by committing the ultimate sin -- I installed Windows natively in it's own partition and set up a dual-boot (bring on Steam for Linux so I can remove this evil!).
It's not even really a 'classic' dual-boot because with my EFI / UEFI mainboard (once I'd got the Windows DVD to play nice) it meant no need to hassle with boot chaining in grub / syslinux etc. Now I have 2 'native' EFI boot options (stored in my mainboard's NVRAM) it's just a case of hitting the button to bring up the boot-menu during POST, then selecting which OS I want to boot -- Arch by default of course!

    Hi Cyprian,
How have you configured your OPC Server tags?  Are they strings of floating point type?  What type of server is being created?
Also, what's the end goal of this?  Generally speaking NI OPC Servers is used to communicate to a PLC as you have seen.

  • Configure BP Overview component to launch in New Window

I would like to be able to configure the BP overview window to open in a New Window when the user clicks on a link in the Navigation Bar, using the context of an activity transaction, using the BP for the Activity Partner.  I'm sure I should be able to create a logical link and do this without any coding?
Could anyone help me with how I could achieve this.  Most important is that it needs to launch in a new window.

    Hi,
You can use the Stateful option during the Transaction Launcher creation to open ECC tran. in new window.

  • Component Configuration in webdynpro for abap

    Hi Experts,
I have created a component configuration for a webdyn pro component.
When i create this configuration a tab "COMPONENT DEFINED" is not getting enabled.
Please tell me why it is not getting enabled and what is the actual use of this tab.

    Hi Archana
Create a context node in your custom controller which is configuration controller and activate the component.
You will now able to see the Component-Defined tab enabled, where you can set the values to the context attributes which are defined in your configurable custom controller.
    Thanks

  • WD ABAP component configurations

We are using WD ABAP component configurations. We understand how to create and change them, but one question remains unsolved:
Can we load WD component configurations dynamically at runtime from ABAP, so in case we have scenario 1 we load configuration 1.
    Any idea?

    Hi Frank,
    Yes, you can!
First of all you can create different application configurations. You start it from SE80 from the application using the context menu "create/change configuration".
There you can enter the ids of the component configurations for each component usage. You can create more than one application configuration, which means: for each scenario you should create one.
If this does not fit for your application, you can load the component configuration dynamically.
Variant 1: When you instantiate the component, you can pass the configuration key as an optional parameter.
Variant 2: In each component you can load the configuration with a method of the personalization interface. You can do so using the code wizard.
The configuration key is structured as follows: Create a data of type WDY_CONFIG_KEY, set the CONFIG_ID to the id you entered in the configuration editor, and keep the rest initial.

  • Creating a Configuration Scenario from Process Component Interaction Model

    Dear All,
I created a very simple SAP Pro Comp Interaction Model in ESR.
It has two Process Components (PC1, PC2) with a Service Interface (SI1,SI2)
    and Operation (OP1,OP2) each.
There is one message (MT1) flowing between these two Process Components.
I have created and activated all ESR objects.
Now I try to configure the same in ID.
But I get an error in Model Configurator saying
"Process component PC1 does not contain a reference to a process component from the Enterprise Services Repository"
"Process component PC2 does not contain a reference to a process component from the Enterprise Services Repository"
The first step of the Configurator ie. Select Model says "Not Configurable"
What could the issue be? Has anyone configured a Pro Comp Interaction Model successfully?
I am able to configure the SAP delivered Models perfectly well. Just an issue with custom models.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ashwin

Did you ever resolve this issue?  I am facing exactly the same issue and have the same question.
