Configuration on R/3 side

R/3 sysyem (version 4.7) was linked to CRM system through ALE. CRM server is down since long time. The creation of IDocs for business processes like sale order / Customer creation which are scheduled with transactions are getting triggered as soon as a transaction takes place on R/3 side.
Since CRM server is down these Idocs are delivered and outbound queque is getting accumulated day by day which is affecting the performance of Live system also.
Not able to identify where these automated processes are defined/configured on R/3 side. Can anybody pls help in identifying the root cause so these automated processes can be stopped .
Thanks in advance.

  • Configure SAP for server-side trust

    Hi all,
I am installing BusinessObejcts XI integration for SAP Solution. I need configure SAP for server-side trust. I have read BussinessObjects XI Integration for SAP Solution Installation Guide. In chapter 6, It introduce how to configure SAP Server-Side trust. But I don't understand how to configure SAP for server-side trust, specially configure SAP Cryptographic. Would you please to give me more detailed explanation?
    Please advise,
    Duypm

    Hi Duypm,
the SAP server side configuration is part of the Installation Guide Chapter 6. It starts on Page 94.
If you unclear about this and what SNC configuration means for the SAP server make sure you talk to the administrator for the SAP system. You need administrative rights for the SAP system and the system will have to be restarted as outlined in the installation guide

  • Acrobat Pro XI scans both sides (blank backs of pages) when pre-configured to scan front side only

Acrobat Pro XI scans both sides (blank backs of pages) when pre-configured to scan front side only; using Brother MFC 9840CDW and Windows 8 (was not a problem with previous Acrobat version).  Help, please?

Update:  No solution has been discovered; and, I did check the Brother settings (since it allows two-sided printing) - nothing awry there.  Acrobat behaves normally when scanning from the flatbed (as opposed to the doc feeder).  Using Acrobat to delete every other page (blank ones) after scanning is not a viable option.  Please, any thoughts on this issue?

  • ** Seeburger AS2 Configuration in the Sender Side

    Hi friends,
We are trying to receive Purchase Order from the Customer using Seeburger AS2 adapter. The customer is sending the PO to Inovis a solution provider and we need to receive this documents from Inovis.  We need to configure AS2 adapter to receive the PO from Inovis.
How to configure AS2 adapter ?
    Kindly reply friends.
    Thanking you

    hi
I will give you the normal flow how the things works.
You need to deployee the seeburger conversion module on XI. Now in the AS2 adapter this module wil be called and which will does the conversion of EDI to XML.
In the AS2 module parameter tab you need to write the below entry.
    Process Sequence :
    localejbs/callBicXIRaBean bic
    Module Configuration :
    bic mappingName See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A
AS2 adapter is used for B2B scenario so for this case you need to use the party concept and you need to maintain the identifier information of Partner which will going to send the EDI file to XI.
please look in to this links u will come to know about seeburger adapter.

  • Tax collected at source(TCS) configuration from the FI side

    Hi,
We are implementing the tax collected at source. We have configured the following steps:
       1. Define Withholding Tax key (206C)
       2. Define Withholding Tax type
       3. Create the access sequence for withholding for TCS in SD
(Copy the existing access sequence J1AW and create the new access sequence)
       4. Create condition types corresponding to Tax collected at Source in SD
       5. Assign withholding tax types to SD condition types
       6. Define withholding tax codes
       7. Assign GL accounts for withholding tax types
       8. Add TCS conditions in pricing procedure
       9. creating non statistical new condition types and added them to the SD pricing procedure.
10.Create the account keys for non statistical condition types and assign them in the pricing procedure.
      11. assign the G/L accounts for the new account keys in VKOA.
after this when we try to post the invoice we get the error as "posting keys are missing for the transaction JT1" (JT1 is our account key).
To solve this error we have made the configuration for this account key in OBCN and then in OB40 but after that we are getting the error as tax code is not defined in TAXINN procedure.
Please guide if we need to create the  new tax codes in FTXP for this or we need to make any changes in tax procedure for TCS??
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks & regards

  • IDOC Configuration done is R3 side

    Hi all,
When an R3 system is trigerring an IDOC towards an XI system we do the following configuraion in the R3 side.
    1. Create Rfc destination- here we specify the target as SAP XI system.
    2. Create port- here we give the idoc message type basic type and also the rfc desination created
    3. Register the logical system coerresponding to this R3 system in Transaction BD54 or sale.
Now we go to the transaction WE19 and trigerr the idoc
Here in the control records we enter the Port, Partner No,Partner type ( both in the recipient side  .. i guess). we also give the idoc message type here. then we say standard outbound processing and we'll have the idoc here in XI.
<b>I don't understand why we do this only in the recipient side and not in the sender side.</b>
<b>I also  couldn't figure out how  the IDOC knows to namespace does it should go and hit when it comes to XI. coz we are only givingthe target system name in the RFC destination. we are not givin any details of the namespaces or softwarecomponents in XI</b>
any kind of suggestion is appreciated?
    regards,
    Rahul

    <b>Source</b>
    Problem receiving IDOC
A post by Deepu Venugopal  on the above thread
<i>Think of it as this way...whenever XI's IDOC adapter receives an IDoc, it requires the metadata about the IDOC to operate on it and convert it to an IDOC-XML...
In a regular scenario..it is straight forward...If an SAP system is sending an IDoc, then in XI for that SAP system, there would be a port maintained using transaction IDX1 through whihc XI IDOC adapter downloads metadata dynamically...The download of metadata happens only the first time....The different metadata downloaded can be viewed using TCODE IDX2...(from here if we want we can forcefully import the metadata..)
Now coming to your scenario, the since the sending system is an FTP client and you have a made up ALE name in the business service, we need an entry for that ALE name in IDX1...Now the IDX1 entry should point to an SAP system which has the metadata regarding the IDoc being processed....You may or maynot download the IDOC metadata using IDX2(the system will do it automatically the first time)..
In effect we are telling XI to check for IDOC metadata from a different system and not the FTP clinet...</i>
hope this shud answer ur post.

  • Client side configuration

    Hi Everybody,
Thanks to all of the oracle experts.
We installed oracle 10.2 RAc database on the server side using 2 nodes on solaris 10.
Raw devices are used for clusterware installation.
ASM is configured for database shared files.
Now i want to configure on the client side as they should be able to connect to this database.
would anybody kindly provide me how to do this.
i am in very need of it.
    thanks and regards
    suresh

You need to install Oracle Software Client and configure tnsnames.ora with something like
    ORCLTEST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = oraclerac1vip)(PORT = 1521))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = oraclerac2vip)(PORT = 1521))
    (LOAD_BALANCE = yes)
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SERVER = DEDICATED)
    (SERVICE_NAME = orcl)
    (FAILOVER_MODE =
    (TYPE = SELECT)
    (METHOD = BASIC)
    (RETRIES = 180)
    (DELAY = 5)
You must view oraclerac1vip and oraclerac2vip using DNS or you add this host to host table.
    Regards.

IDoc and HTTP Adapters are built on ABAP stack. That's y v r nt configuring on d sender side.It is the same thing also on d receiver side also. But y v r configuring on reciever side.
    Could u guide me.

    Hi Kumar,
Check this thread for your query
    Adapters
IDOC adapter resides on Integration server, so Integration engine takes care of the conversion format from IDOC to XML
but in but XML to IDOC is done by Receiver IDOC adapter

  • Scheduling web intelligence reports from SAP EP Portal : Server Side Trust

    Hello,
We have set-up SSO between SAP EP 701, SAP BI 701 and Business Object XI 3.1  to allow users to access reports without having to sign-on again as explained here :
    /people/ingo.hilgefort/blog/2008/09/19/businessobjects-and-sap--configure-sap-authentication
But, we have recently been contacted by some users because when scheduling Webi Report from a link within the portal they have the following errors :
u201CA database error occured. The database error text is: Unable to connect to SAP BW server System received an expired SSO ticket. (WIS 10901) u201D
The user told us that he doesn't encounter the error when :
Login in directly to the BO Infoview (without SSO from the SAP Enterprise Portal.)
The first Webi scheduling is succesful from the portal (I suppose because the portal token is still valid)
I understand that we also have to configure the Server Side Trust between BO Enterprise server and the SAP BI7 backend as explained here , but I do not really understand its purpose
    https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700001646962008E/XI3-1_BIP_SAP_INSTALL_EN.pdf
    I've found a similar discussions here ;
Issue with SAP Single Sign-On and Scheduling Reports
I still have some questions :
If we configure the Server Side Trust between BO Enterprise server and the SAP BI7 backend .
The Portal Logon ticket will remain an issue at some point of time , does it mean tha the WeBi report job sheduling should not be perfromed from the SAP EP Portal ?
We haven't configured the Server Side Trust , yet the users told us that they are able to schedule webi report directly from the BO Infoview ? How is it posible ?
Thank you in advance for your help.
    Regards.

Thank you Mr Hilgefort for your detailled explanations.
I now have to provide some explanations to my managers, and to be honest , there are still some points that
are unclear to me, and it would be extremely helpful if could confirm (or not) the follwoing points.
When scheduing Webi report from the sap portal, we're getting SSO errors.
SAP provide the follwoing note explaining how to extend the validity of the J2EE token (Portal token), but this is not a long term solution, at certain point of time the ticket will expire. Webi shceduling should not be perfromed from the Portal.
Sap note 1352127 - Scheduled Webi report fails with: A database error occurred. The database error text is: Unable to connect to SAP BW server System received an expired SSO ticket
Webi Scheduling should be performed from BO Infoview. SNC should be configured between BO server and SAP BI7.0 backend.
We should Configure Server SNC as explained in the BusinessObjects XI Integration for SAP Solutions Installation and Administration Guide at Chapter "Configuring SAP for server-side trust". (1341043)
The SAP Portal is not involved here and is not an option even with the configuration of SNC/Server side trust.
    thank you for your patience.
    Best Regards.

  • How to configure firewall access for ASA 5510

    Hi,
This is my first time to use the Cisco ASA 5500 family. I have a request from a user to create an access rule, to allow all LAN traffic to Destination IP address 165.241.29.17, 165.241.31.254 with Destination TCP port 5060,5061,5070 and UDP port 50000-52399.
I want to do this using ASDM, How do I accomplish this?
    Thanks,
    Jojo

Hey Jojo I use the ASDM to manage my ASA... so below should get you a general access rule to allow what you need.
•1.      Log into your ASA using ASDM.. on the top tabs look for "Configuration"
•2.      Once you click "Configuration", on the left side panel down at the bottom you should see "Firewall".  Make sure you’re in the "Firewall" menu and at the top you should be viewing "Access Rules".  You should see a list of access rules applied to your ASA.
•3.      At the top you should see a green "+Add" to add a new access rule to your ASA.  Once clicked you should identify…
•a.      Interface -  INSIDE or OUTSIDE
•b.      Action - PERMIT or DENY
•c.      Source - Subnet that needs to talk to destination address
•d.      Destination - use the [...] box to create a Network Object for 165.241.29.17 and 165.241.31.254 use /32 mask for specific ip address and not a range
•e.      Service - Again use the [...] box to create TCP and UDP Service Groups for the specific ports
•4.     You can then enter a description of the specific access rule and enable logging.
This should be it... let me know how this works out for you!!

Check the configuration on the EMC side. This error message is the heart of the problem:
"Unsupported LUN Addressing method 40 in response to REPORT_LUN"
A quick Googling leads me to believe this means you're trying to assign a LUN ID higher than 255 to the host.
    Best of luck!

  • ALE Configurations?

    Hi All,
Currently i'm working on the following requirements. we are using TIBCO system as a middleware tool and it will ceate an IDOC which needs to be directed to R/3 system.  As we have already imported the IDOC to the TIBCO system and then it will fetch the data from non-SAP system and creates the IDOC and sends it to R/3 system? I've done the following ALE configurations but got the error message as 56..."Partner profile is not define".
I've done the following ALE configurations at R/3 side.
    1. Created a logical system and RFC destination for TIBCO.
    2. created a TRFC port.
    3. Create a Partner profile and linked the TRFC port.
    4. posted an IDOC from WE19.
but when i checked the status of IDOC in WE02 its displaying an warning message with status code 56 "Partner profile is not define". and i think no need to do any ALE Configuration at sender side since the sender system is TIBCO.
pls correct me if i'm wrong. as one of my colleage suugested me to create FIle port instead of TRFC port?
    regards
    Faisal
