    Hi folks,
just trying to get this card to work on our MAC. It doesn't come with any drivers and the intel site directs you to Small Tree for their driver. This only works on Small Tree branded products, anyone solved this problem? We are running OSX10.5 Leopard.
    Any help appreciated.

Resolved the problem. You have to have a small tree card!

  • Understanding ISDN BRI Voice Interface Cards

    Hi all,
I was wondering about the VIC-2BRI-NT/TE VIC:
In NT mode, what kind of BRI interface I can connect to it? Is it a BRI S/T interface (The device that is been connected to it)?
I got a PBX that has BRI S/T interfaces... can i connect them to this card (while in NT state)?
Will DID work in this case?
    Thanks,
    Edy.

    Hi Malleyne,
    Thanks for the response.
I looked at the document, and I found my answers indeed. The only way to understand from the document (or any other on the net) that it will connect to an S/T interface is by the fact is says it acts as a NT1 device. Couldn't they make it more simple? :)
    Thanks again,
    Edy.

  • Configuration Template for SRP 521W

    Hello all,
Does anyone have a recommnedation for creating a configuration template for the SRP521W?  I can use the Admin-->Backup Config to get a xxx.cfg file, but I cannot edit it with notepad++.
Also, i know the config can be view via view-source:http://ipaddr/admin/config.xml, but how would I load a modified copy of this back to the router?
Thanks in advance for your time!
    Philip

    Hi Philip,
You can load XML configurations on to the SRP using a number of different methods.
Firstly, make sure that your XML is properly formatted as follows.  Configuration files can include as much or as little configuration as you need.
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
      Add your configuration here
    Provisioning Methods
    1. Resync URL
You can use the resync URL to command the SRP to collect a new configuration from a specified location.  The SRP can use TFTP, HTTP or HTTPS to collect the defined configuration.  Once you have created your configuration file and loaded it to a TFTP or web server, construct a URL as follows and paste it in to your browser.
    http://:/admin/resync?&xuser=admin&xpassword=
    For example:
    http://192.168.15.1/admin/resync?tftp://192.168.15.100/myconfig.xml&xuser=admin&xpassword=admin
    2. Provisioning URL configuration
As an alternative to the above, it is also possible to configure the SRP500 with a provisioning URL via the web GUI.  In this case, take the configuration file URL and use it configure the "Profile Rule"  configuration field, which may be found on the Voice > Provisioning page.
    3. Push URL
Use an application like curl to post the XML file directly to the SRP IP address.  For example:
    curl -k -d @myconfig.xml http://192.168.15.1/admin/config.xml&xuser=admin&xpassword=admin

  • Measurement Computing USB-SSR24 error 42 Digital Port not configured correctly for requested operation

Using LV 2012 and ULx 2.02 LV driver:
LV is throwing an error 42 (Digital Port not configured correctly for requested operation) from the ULx write VI but only on PortCH.  All my configurations are correct on the hardware and Instacal tests the ports OK.  I've reinstalled everything and still see the same issue.
Since PortA is configured identical to PortCH, and PortA is functioning fine, I'm stumped.  This is occuring on two different SSR24 DAQs so I don't think it's the hardware, plus I've already mentioned that the Instacal isn't having a problem with it.
I've attached my VI I'm using for debug.

I worked with Measurement Computing and they agreed that there is a bug with certain DI/DO configurations.  There are a possible 16 different DI/DO configurations with the hardware and apparently mine (PortA - DO, PortB- DI, PortCL-DI, and PortCH-DO will throw this error for PortCH.  I'm currently using .net calls to work around the issue until the ULx driver is updated.  I'll post that when I see it.  Attached are the .net VI's that I'm using for simple static IO.

  • Cisco 4-Port ISDN-BRI Network Module

    Cisco 4-Port ISDN-BRI Network Module
    what does the BRI mean?
I have this module in a 2600 series router. Can it be used for basic LAN connection (like a hub)?

First, to answer your question: No, you cannot.
ISDN is a Telco technology and protocol suite.
"BRI" stands for "Basic Rate Interface," also described as "2B+D" for two Bearer channels and a "D" channel, which is used for control signaling in some configurations, and additional bandwidth in others.
Max throughput is either 128K (2 X 56K or 64Kbps per channel) or 144Kbps (2B+16K that may be available in the D channel depending on your config.
ISDN requires an intermediate telco-style switch between the clients and can't be used back-to-back directly.
    Good Luck

  • Configure SSO for ITS to R/3 using SNC/Kerberos

Our R/3 systems had been configured for SSO using SNC and Kerberos for awhile now.  We now have a requirement to configure SSO between ITS and R/3.  Since our R/3 env. has been using kerberos library, we won't be able to use SAP Cryptographic library.  I had modified the registry, environment and services in itsadmin to point to the kerberos library and principal names for agate and r/3 servers as described in SNC User Guide; also, I updated table SNCSYSACL with the Agate SNC name.  That seems to work fine.  From the trace file, it recognized GSS-API library for Kerberos and the SNC name for Agate.  However, when I tried to logon to R/3 from ITS, I still am being prompted with the logon screen to enter my SAP account/password.
I found several whitepapers and documentations stating that ITS does support Kerberos for SSO but I couldn't find any procedure on how to implement it.  Following is the error I'm getting from the sapbasis.trc file but I can't find any document on this error:

    Hi Markus,
I also just installed/configured PAS for LDAP authentication using the "PAS for External Authentication Mechanisms" documentation.  I think the domain problem probably due to not having the external authentication mechanism install (in this case - PAS).  Does that sound right to you?
I tried both options for ~extid_type parameter = "LD" and "UN".  I added the DN information to table USREXTID when ~extid_type="LD" but both options gave me error of "LDAP authentication failed".  I increased the trace level for sapextaut.trc but I don't see enough detail information.  Following are the errors/data from the trace file.  Can you please let me know how I can tell what string is being passed for authentication?
I'm quite sure the LDAP host and port data is correct since we've been using the same information for the SAP LDAP connector and we've been using our LDAP connector between MS AD and R/3 for a long time without any problem.
To logon to R/3 through ITS, I entered the AD account (CN attribute in AD) when I got the errors.
Thank you very much for all your help.

  • SG300-20 configure 1 ip pr port

We got 1 customer that would like us to configure a system based on SG300-20 linked up with an SG300-10SFP using trafficshaping ingress and egress limited to 40mbit.
This part of the case is solved using ingress/egress 40960 with an burtlimit a bith higher.
But he also wants each firewall configured on the net to only be able to have 1 ip on that spesific port.
this is an owner of a building that rents out to other companies. Each comapny is assinged a port on the SG300-20 and has theire own ip  (ie 100.100.12.34)  all of them are part of a /26 net and would use the same Gateway.
    Is this possible ?
that the company assigned to ie port 14 in switch 1 only can use 100.100.12.34/26 gw 100.100.12.1 and if they change to 100.100.12.36 it will not work.  This to prevent the endusers from changing and fu...g up the net for the rest :-)
and on port 16 on switch 1 they can only use 100.100.12.36/26 with gw 100.100.12.1
    thnsk for any input
switches are in layer2 mode , but nothing is in production yet so i can change ot layer3 if thats what it takes.

    Thomas

Hi Thomas, your concept sounds correct.
    This is how this works
    Assuming your topology is this-
    Internet -> Router -> Core switch (no client/customer) -> Access switch -> Client/customer
For argument sake, your uplink from access switch is port 18 which connects to port 18 of the core switch
    Problem statement-
On access switch, your desire is to have a client or customer connect to the switch using a specific MAC address and IP address and no other
    Possible solutions-
Dynamic ARP inspections statically MAPS and IP address to a MAC address, any connection using the same MAC but different IP will be dropped and any connection using the same IP but different MAC will be dropped
Create an access list to permit only the desire IP address on the INGRESS port and block any other traffic to that port
    Solution work flow-
    Enable dynamic ARP inspection
Security -> ARP inspection -> Properties -> Enable
Enable trusted interfaces - These interfaces will allow any traffic and not subject to your inspection list. Untrusted is subject to the inspect list
Security -> ARP Inspection -> Interface Settings -> Edit interfaces as desired
    Build your inspection table
Security -> ARP inspection -> ARP access control -> Add ->
-Control name is an arbitrary value, it is a description
-IP address is the IP you want in the database
-MAC address is the binding to the IP address for the switch to look up in the data
If DAI is too stringent for you, you may create an access list as an alternative solution
Access Control -> IPV4 based ACL -> Add
-ACL Name is what you want to call it, a description -> Apply
Next define the access list by going to IPV4 ACE bu click IPV4-based ACE -> Add
-Priority is an ordering system, you should structure your rules in an order for the switch to look up the rules
-Action permit or deny, in your case you want to permit
-Protocol will be IP (all traffic)
-Source IP address will be your host connection 100.100.12.34
-Wildcard mask will be 0.0.0.0  (this is a single host wild card)
    -Destination will be Any
    Click apply
Once the access list is built, it then gets bound to an interface. The interface must be the interface where the traffic goes to and not leaving
Access Control -> ACL Binding (port)
-Check box for the port your customer/client connects
-Interface is where the customer/client connects to the switch
-Check box for Select IPV4-Based ACL
    -Default action is Deny Any
    -Apply
With this completed correctly, only your IP for all traffic will connect to that port and any other IP will not be allowed, will discard if connection through that same port.

  • What are the steps requried for r/3 to xi and xi to r/3 configuraiton ?

    Hi Experts
What are the steps requried for r/3 to pi 7.1 and pi 7.1 to r/3 configuraiton ?
    Thanks & Regards

In case of RFC already signature will be defined in R/3 itself the same will there in PI too after importing .
In case of idoc also you just need to import for the usage and can be used depending on scenario
if the above answers doesnt suite your question then can you post query in detailed way
    In case of Configurations
RFC destination types differ for idoc and RFC
in idoc SM59 Type 3 conection you need to create
for RFC you need Type T connection

  • UWL Configuration Document for EP 7.0

    Dear all,
We are on EP 7 and trying to configure the UWL. I have a few documentation on the configuration of UWL (not sure whether is works for EP 7). When i try to Registering System Item Types with the UWL, i can see the following option which is different from EP 6.
    AdHocSystem  - AdHocWorkflowConnector
    ActionInbox      - ActionInboxConnector
We are using webdynpro and JCO connection. Therefore does it still require the system landscape? Anyone have the UWL configuration document for EP 7?
    Thanks,
    Regards,

  • CSS11501 - URL Redirect for Multiple Servers For Both Ports 80 & 443

Can the CSS rules be configured such that it can be used to direct requests to different Web servers based upon,
    URL path?
For Both Ports 80 & 443/HTTPS (with SSL Certificate running on the back-end servers)
    For example:
    http://app.ti.com/path1/file.html goes to Web servers A & B -> old servers
    https://app.ti.com/path1/file.html goes to Web servers A & B -> "
    http://app.ti.com/path2/file.html goes to Web servers C & D -> new servers
    https://app.ti.com/path2/file.html goes to Web servers C & D -> "
We're trying to understand what are plans are for a phased migration from old site to new site, and if it requires new URLs ???
Fort port 443, since the CSS is load balancing SSL encrypted traffic, is the means that the CSS can’t look at URL thus this is not possible?
    Please help, thanks.

    Hi Martin,
    1) Clients are using http://domain/, thus I need to define url "//domain/.." as you have stated.
    2) I'm still waiting for the "actual" URL paths from the application team in order to decide which method to use - Regexp vs URLQ definition - to begin testing.
I know I have limited memory resource (as listed below) & will try not to make it complicated:

  • How do I configure SPA8800 for a Viking FBI-1A?

I am working with a customer who has had a phone system failure.  We're trying to replace the old Asterisk system that had a hardware interface card with a newer system and use an SPA8800 adapter (since I have that in stock and didn't have the hardware card in stock) to provide dialtone to the faxe machines and connect to the overhead paging system.  The problem I'm having is with the overhead paging system.
The system is a Viking FBI-1A (http://www.vikingelectronics.com/products/view_product.php?pname=FBI-1A#), which can be configured either in Trunk Mode or Paging Mode.  In Paging Mode and connected to one of the FXS ports on the SPA8800, the paging system basically immediately "picks up" the FXS line and blares dial-tone over the overhead speakers, staying continuously off-hook, even after the "you left the phone of the hook, dummy" error beep starts playing.  In Trunk Mode and connected to one of the FXO ports on the SPA8800, the paging system never works -- when Asterisk tries to place any call to the SPA8800's FXO port, the SPA8800 replies with 503 Service Unavailable and nothing comes out the speakers.  I've done some testing with a plain old analog phone connected to the Viking in Trunk Mode, and the paging system basically isn't outputting dial-tone -- when in Trunk Mode it just sits there waiting for some audio to come in the trunk port and then records & rebroadcasts that audio.  My suspicion is that this lack of dial-tone is causing the SPA8800 to think the FXO line is dead.  I've looked for a setting to tell the SPA8800 to ignore the lack of dial-tone and just try to automatically blast audio out the FXO port, but I cannot find it.  Does that setting exist?  Is there a SIP Header I can have Asterisk send to make the SPA8800 just send the call to the FXO port without a dial string and without waiting for dial tone?

    Try 120 minute best quality.
Don't forget to compress the audio to AC3.
If that ends up too large, duplicate the preset you just used and dial down the bitrate and save it. Then apply the new version and try again.
Rinse and repeat as nec till it fits.
    x
