Configure AAA with ANM, ACS and ACE

I am seeking for best practices with deployment of ANM and ACS to manage ACEs. Configuration guides suggest that authorization can be on ACS 5.2 or ANM.
I found that an admin user can be assigned to a single role only. What I would like to do, is set myself as an adnmin user have different roles for different ACEs. For example, I want to be a system admin for one ACE and network-monitor role for another ACE.
Would you someone offer me any suggestions?

Guest configuration with WLC

i am using WLC 4402 with firmware 5.1 and 1252 Access Point.
i am in trouble to configure guest access with the WLC.
i have configured interface in WLC under CONTROLLER->INTERFACES->GUEST.
WHEN I SELECT THIS INTERFACE AS GUEST IT DOESN'T TAKE IP ADDRESS INFORMATION. IN THIS CASE I HAVE TO UNCHECK GUEST SELECTION BOX.
AND I GOT DYNAMIC INTERFACE WITHOUT IP ADDRESS.
AFTER DOING THIS I CREATE WLAN NAMED GUEST AND ENABLED IT.
i have put guest interface as a ingress interface and management as egress interface and applied web auth successfully but still it is not showing me guest SSID when i try to search it.
help me

Why some APs would register with Secondary WLC while they are configured to Primary WLC

Dears,
I faced strange behavior i have two WLC one primary and the other one secondary.
some AP join to secondary WLC for short period (2 min or less) and returned to primary, while they are configured to primary WLC.

How we can do SWAP VIP with multiple ACS configuration?

We are using Azure ACS in our application, Also we have used customized ACS page as login form. now whenever we are deploying it to staging, settings available in customized ACS page works fine. but when we switch it to production then web config and
login page settings are not changing. How we can change it or is there any other to implement ACS?

After implementing approach defined in
http://www.cloudidentity.com/blog/2011/05/31/EDIT-AND-APPLY-NEW-WIF-S-CONFIG-SETTINGS-IN-YOUR-WINDOWS-AZURE-WEBROLE-WITHOUT-REDEPLOYING/, I was unable to modify the web config. May be I missed some part or Azure is not allowing it. So
I modified it little bit and it worked with following steps:
Step1) Here I am assuming that you have created staging environment in Azure portal and also you have configured it in Azure ACS. I have used Azure ACS customized Login page and asp.net MVC form authentication. First we will modify our code
to read the settings from service configuration file and we will add the Staging GUID url and actual production URL into web config, under Audience URI section. Finally it will be uploaded to Azure portal into staging environment. In the Azure management
portal, we will change the login url settings from configuration tab then save it. Finally we will SWAP both the environments. while browsing application during VIP swap you might get Cryptographic exception which you also need to handle.
Step2) Whenever you download the customized login page from ACS portal then you will find script tag as shown below:

WLC 5508 - AP's are conecting with WLC but unable to regester with WLC

Hi,
I have old 4400 series wlc and recently I have configured 5508 wlc and 6 new Access Point.
when you go to MONITER - AP Join their it shows connected AP detail with AP IP address but if u see it in under WIRELESS Option their is not showing any AP's detail.
I mean to say that AP's are connecting with WLC and also getting IP address but unable to regester with WLC.
Even I have checked with remove Radius configuration also from wlc as well as from acs.
please suggest......

Help required with WLC software upgrade

I have a customer with WLC 4402 in use, running software version 7.0.98.0, and supporting 11 APs at present. The customer wants to enlarge the WLAN, which involves increasing the number of APs. I have purchased a new WLC5508, and have installed it onto the network alongside the 4402. the 5508 is running software version 7.0.116.0. Because the wireless network is critical to the user, we want to move the APs over to the new controller while the network is up and running, then remove the 4402.
However, when we set the 5508 as the master controller, or tell one of the APs to use the 5508 as its primary controller, the AP connects to the new controller, downloads the new software version, attempts to load it but reports an error with the unzipped file size of the software and fails to boot. formatting the flash on the AP, then disconnecting the 5508 from the network and rebooting the AP allows it to connect to the 4402, it downloads the older software and boots as normal. A new AP, if connected to the 5508 in a test scenario (ie no 4402) connects, downloads and boots perfectly.
I have the upgrade software to allow the 4402 to be upgraded to 7.0.116.0, but I am concerned that, if this is installed, the existing APs will then fail to boot from the 4402 or the 5508.
all APs are 3502s, running IOS version 12.04(23c)JA when connected to the 4402 and 12.04(23c)JA2 on the 5508.

thanks for the reply. I am off site until the morning, but will attach the colsole output tomorrow.
Your mentioning a corrupt image makes me wonder - we had a lot of trouble setting up the initial config on the new WLC, getting a lot of launch failures. Eventually things seemed to settle down (it certainly booted successfully first time this morning) and getting an AP to connect without a problem made me hope it was just a quirk of the configuration wizard, but I think I will try a reboot of the WLC before I do anything else, just to check it is stable.
If it is a corrupt image it may take a little while to sort, as we have not as yet got a support contract on the 5508 - the plan was to upgrade the existing contract on the 4402 once they were swapped out, but I'll let you know whats going on

WLC + ACS (RADIUS) + MS-AD

I have been looking around if there is a way to authenticate users against a MS-AD database from a non-controlled wireless client.
My design includes a WLC 4400, an ACS 5.4 and MS-AD 2003.
The goal is to connect a client without any special configuration (in the client); the SSID will be visible so I just want to join the network and after the negotiation, it should prompts me a username and password for the Microsoft Database.
I have read there are limitations setting this up just with WLC and MS-AD, thats why I want to use Radius (ACS) so I can establish a trust communication between both the ACS and MS-AD. But so far, I just found documentation where they modify the native supplicant to validate a CA and force mschapv2.

3rd Part Dropship Scenario with Sales BOM

We have a 3rd Party Dropshipment scenario with Sales BOM with susequent Debit
Characteristics of Sales BOM
Sales BOM is created
Header Material is Valuated but non-inventorised (Accounting and costing view should exist)
Component Material is Valuated and inventorised
In Sales order, Pricing is done at the header material not at the components level
During Billing we get the COGS for the header material (cost coming from VPRS)
No VPRS exist at component level instead we have copy of VPRS just to capture the value in COPA for our reporting
Process
1. Sales Order created with Sales BOM exploded in sales order.
2. At the Item level Purchase requisition is created.
3. PR for the components is converted to PO
4. Vendor Delivers the components to Customer.
5. Statistical GR done in our system.
6. Invoicing is done in MIRO
7. We directly do the Billing. Billing is created at header level. Revenue and COGS is reported at Header level only.
We are stuck when we are doing the Subsequent Debit (can be for any unplanned cost). For Susequent Debit we are not able to report differential COPA at header level.
Normally whenever you do subsequent debit in case of 3rd party dropship for normal material, COPA document automatically attached to Billing. This is happening because of the behaviour of VPRS condition type. In our case VPRS only exists at header level and not at component level but replenishment is for components. Subsequent debit is also happening at component level. We need it to be reported at header level.
We need some solution to this.

Please clarified your requirement here, you mention that you wanted to valuated COGS at actual cost of PO? That sound more like actual costing here and what is the reason for this requirement?
Is this MTO with variant configuration?
If this is MTO with VC, Yes - we do cost Sales Order and here is the brief steps:-
Price Control S
a) Sales Order Creation - Normally when you save this will be costed and marked automatically. Note that condition type EK02 will represent the cost here
b) Run MRP based on Sales Order requirement which resulting planned orders, PR, etc
c) Convert PR-PO, Planned Order -> Production Order
d) Confirmations, GR on PO which valuated according to the SCE Costing in step a)
e) PGI will be based on the GR value on step d) which is also your SCE Costing
f) Any variance between PO and SCE need to be settle.

File-Soap-File scenario with asynch - synch bridge

I am new to PI and I'm trying to develop a FIle-SOAP-File scenario with asynch-synch bridge. These are the components in my integration builder:
Business Component to act as both the sender and receiver
1 outbound communication channel to pick up the file from ftp server
1 SOAP communication channel
1 inbound communication channel to write file to the ftp server
receiver determination
interface determination
sender agreement
receiver agreement
In my outbound channel, I am using:
Processing sequence:
1     AF_Modules/RequestResponseBean                Local Enterprise Bean     1
2     CallSapAdapter                                                         Local Enterprise Bean     2
3     AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean                Local Enterprise Bean     3
Module configuration:
1     passThrough                         true
3     receiverChannel                        inbound communication channel to write file to the ftp server
3     receiverService                         Business component where the channel above is found.
When I run the scenario, I am able to get the file from ftp server, map it to SOAP format according to the wsdl, forward the message to SOAP adapter, send it to web service, get the response back from web service, map the data to a regular file format. However, it fails to write back to the ftp server. I am getting Java null pointer error at AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean.

Thanks for the replies. I checked my module parameters and I realized that i entered the wrond business service. I fixed that and ensure that all 3 channels are running.
I ran the scenario again and it does not give me Java Null pointer exception. However, it gives me a different errror.

IDOC to XML file scenario with party

Hi All,
I am developing a IDOC to XML file scenario with party in which I have extended the MATMAS idoc and configured the receiver FILE communication channel.
But its giving me the error *"No receiver could be determined"* with party. If I run the same scenario without the sender party its working fine.
And sender is my R/3 system under party P_Party and receiver is my third party system under P_Party.

U can give a try as follows.
In the Partner Profile of Sender R/3 system,
Give the Receiver Party P_Party in the PartnerNo. Give the 'Business Partner' as logical System type.
In XI, Party Definition of P_Party
Give the following Alternative Identifier
Agency -   Sender R/3 Business System
Scheme -   ALE#GP
Value    -    P_Party

I Have an Scenario where i am using BPM. Most of the blog tells about manually creating all Configuration objects. I had created an Integration Scenario for this scenario by referring to the earlier threads available for same.

Sender App Component - Integration Process - Receiver App Component
Now when i am trying to create Configuration scenario for same using model configurator, i am getting Model as "Not Configurable"
And when i click "Configurability Check" Button, i am getting below as status:
Component view IS_POC_BPM: Connection from receivePayload to getABSPayload does not have an inbound service interface
Component view IS_POC_BPM : Connection from sendABSPayload to getPayload has no outbound interface
getABSPayload and sendABSPayload are actions for Abstract interfaces.
IS_POC_BPM is the Integration Process Name.
Also in Integration Scenario, when i create connection between sender action to BPM action there is no inbound interface coming. And viceversa.

Is it possible to create Configuration Scenario for BPM Using Integration Scenario?

I think you shoudl refer the available Integration Scenarios created for BPMs in IR --> SAP BASIS --> http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Patterns
Sender template will have the Action with Outbound Service Interface and then in the BPM Template the action will have Inbound Interface.....then within the BPM itself this inbound will be mapped to Action with Abstract Interface
may be after looking the Integration scenarios you will get more idea
