Configure idoc

hello everyone
im new to idoc configuration, i was trying a test case for an idoc to be used in the same system
1) i created 2 logical systems - SAP800 and SAP801
2)Assign client to sender system
3)Create RFC destination
4)Create distribution model
5)Distribute model by adding the message type MATMAS for sender SAP800 and receiver SAP801
But when Im generating partner profile, Im getting an error "No messages have been defined for the selection conditions in the model"
Can anybody help me in that plz

Hi,
After creating the LSs , u can assign LS to sender and then go to receiver create LS and assign to receiver.
after that create RFC destination and maintan the settings correctly.
Then go to BD64 create model and give nmessage type in message type row, and then give proper sender and receiver LSs and excute.
Then go to generate PF manually.

  • Configuring IDOC to file Scenario in PI 7

    Hello All,
I am doing an IDOC to file scenario, all the configuration is done. When i trigger the outbound IDOC, I can see in SXMB_MONI the sender component, sender Namespace, sender interface and reciever component are coming up correctly as configured.
    1. But the reciever namespace and Reciever Interface are having the same values as the sender namespace and sender interface interface respectively. I am sure they have to be as per the config in ID.
    2. Also on further going into the error message
    SAP:Code area="OUTBINDING">CO_TXT_OUTBINDING_ERROR</SAP:Code
    SAP:AdditionalText>No standard agreement found for , DEV400, ANZ, BC_RECV_PAYM_ORD, urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages, PAYEXT.PEXR2002</SAP:AdditionalText>
Can anyone please suggest , what is it that I am doing wrong.

  • Configuring IDOC on R/3 and XI ?

    Hi All,
I was following one how-to doc in configuration of IDOC on R/3 and XI.
If we have more than one scenario with IDOC-XI-File scenarios to handle same or different IDOC's.
Where do we configure on R/3 or XI to send IDOC from R/3 to particular Scenario on XI ? I see configuration only tells to send XI on particular port, but it does not tell which sender it is supposed to send?
Please throw some light on this.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

    Hi Kumar,
Party is configured if the system you are connecting, for receiving and sending data, is not within your landscape. Or there is no information about the party's environment details in the system landscape directory. Then you configure the scenario with the Party if not its Without party. E.g connection to the web service of your client, or to some web address  on the Internet etc.
What you need to do is that if the scenario is same but the logical system in R/3 is different then you can use the Condition within the ID to distinguish the Idoc and route to the corresponding Receiving system, using the receivinger adapter. If its the different IDOC then you have to configure different Scenario within ID for each IDOC scenario.
    Hope this helps.

    Ranjan

  • How to configure IDoc scenario?

    Hi All,
We have a scenario where we have to send wire transfers to the bank. It's a standard transaction tha produces the IDoc in file format and then XI picks it up and sends it over to the bank.
So for Xi it's a simple file to file scenario without any mapping.
But now the issue is bank wants some kind of identifier in the control segment so that they can identify that the file came from our company.
Is there a way we can put some kind of identifier in the IDoc Control segment with any mapping in XI.
I believe that we can use Idetifiers in the File adapter to somehow configure this. But I don't know how...
    Please advice..
    Regards,
    XIer

The IDoc is PEXR2002. used for wiretransfers....
We are not allowed to change the standard program that is producing this IDOC.
So we need to do something at configuration level....

    XIEr

  • Configuring IDOC Listener on MII 12.1

    Hi,
I had a basic question around the configuration.
    This is from 12.1 help:
"The SAP Java Resource Adapter (SAP JRA) server is used to connect to SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) to receive remote function calls (RFC) and IDocs. You can use the asynchronous HTTP interface to post data to SAP MII for asynchronous transaction processing."
In this regard is it mandatory to first configure SAP JRA on NW and then proceed with the IDOC specific config both on the R/3 as well as NW side?
The reason I ask this is that we are currently struggling with this config on 12.1.8 (build 30) where the BASIS folks are observing that the system hangs when they try to add enteries to the XMIIIDOC component . Before going through with the IDOC config they made sure that the JRA is configured and followed the steps as mentioned in the 12.1 installation guide under "Configuring JRA for JRA Actions" & "Cloning the default JRA Config" sections. They are simultaneously also following up in the NW forums to find a solution.
Additionally I had another question (this one's specifically for MIke Appleby ). Would one have to follow similar config steps as IDOC when configuring the RFC listener , atleast from the NW CE perspective? We are trying to download Control Recipes from R/3.
    Thanks
    Udayan

    Hi Udayan,
Yes, the configuration for the RFC Listener is essentially the same as the IDoc Listener, except the binding is different (do not change either type from the default values and you should be fine).
The differences between the two Listener types are really on the ECC side.  The installation instructions for Batch Manufacturing included the RFC Listener setup.  Keep meaning to write a separate document for RFC Listeners, but haven't yet.
One general note of caution for all readers:
Do not reuse ProgIDs from an IDoc Listener in an RFC Listener and vice versa.  Only use a unique ProgID once (and deleting them from one Listener or MII server to use them elsewhere is generally not advisable).
Roughly 90% of the tickets entered for IDoc Listeners with MII are because of ProgIDs used in more than one place.
    Regards,
    Mike

  • Configure idocs for User management ack settings?

    1. IDOC config idoc says acknowledgments should not be requested, and run idx_noale ? why should we turn off and how to do this ?
    2. IDOCs sent to IS should not be processed by IDoc adapter, advises insert the relevant idoc types into exception table, execute report idx_select_idoctyp_without_is
why we need to configure explicitly for each relavant ido types?
    thanks

    Hi Kumar,
Receiver adapters that run on the Adapter Engine support system acknowledgments if they are requested by the sender. Acknowledgements are triggered when a message is successfully processed by the adapter or if an error occurs while it is being processed. Receiver adapters do not support application acknowledgments. The RNIF and CIDX adapters are exceptions to this rule, since they also support scenario-dependent application acknowledgments. Sender adapters of the Adapter Engine do not request any acknowledgments.
This means, JDBC adapter does only send system acks, however IDoc adapter is requesting application acks. Therefore as mentioned by the previous poster, you have to disable acks for this scenario using report IDX_NOALE.
